A proper garage to store it and this wouldn't be as big of a problem. I would however limit the amount, toss the bad boards which they helped with already, and part with some of the cars to those you know will fix them or has the means to. The more they sit the lower their value and less likely to get in working order. Might lose on the invasive trees but maybe saplings of local trees can be a good replacement, like they did at one of the local schools.

Exactly! And there are no resources actually available to our community to receive help with issues like these. I worked as a County Deputy Clerk in Small Claims in a city much larger than Btown, and I was shocked by the way other deputies treated average residents! They would sooner tell you to get an attorney and send you off than help. Newsflash: most people can’t afford an attorney’s fees, and even most judges will either blow off a pro se petitioner rather than listen. Or even worse, I’ve seen them become rude and aggressive towards them. It’s incredibly sad.
The city doesn't like when people stand up to them, call them out on things etc. that's why they're doing this to you Joe they want someone who doesn't know or are not knowledgeable of the laws/orderence and they found out you know your stuff and they don't like it.
I get that he is trying to improve his property but it’s going the exact opposite direction. This place looks like a dump. If you told me that this was somewhere in Appalachian West Virginia, I’d believe you. He needs to focus on one project at a time.
After glancing at your profile photo and your channel, it’s easy to see why you might come to that conclusion. However, does that mean that he, as a climate conscious property owner should become homeless? No wonder the homeless population is growing here. Also, he’s repurposing materials that would otherwise be dumped in another landfill. This attack seems to have become some kind of personal vendetta by the city, and that’s not the purpose of elected officials, or appointed ones. It’s their duty to help our citizens and community no matter what. It’s in the oath.
This is his property which he owns. He doesn't need the government to tell him what he can do with it. This isn't an HOA, this is the government that needs to mind its own business.
I guess you know better? Go over their and help him with the one project at a time. I guess the guy don't have the money like you evidently you have to go and buy what you need when you need it. He has to collect his materials when he comes across it. Just go over there and pay and repair all that needs to be done. Yes you are also a so-called Do Gooder.
The Do Gooders at work. They just can't mind their own busines.. If the neighbor is that upset then move. Don't try to control people to satisfy your own way of thinking. I'm glad I don't live in Bloomington Indiana.
Ok, we now have to rewrte the script and have this man on the mount Rushmore of local legends. Dream team includes: Charlie Bird (RIP), Joel Washington, Joe Davis, Oralndp (UPS).And I guess throw Lennon Beasley
“Uhhh…I’m hearing some noises…I’m…ever-vigilant. I think that’s just like a nut falling from the tree.” Truer words have never been spoken!
Seems to me he’s a self righteous hoarder. No sense of reality.
I do believe compost piles are not illegal i think the city needs to look back over their laws.

This is evil. Abatement violates the 4th Ammendment. He should have asserted his 2nd Ammendment.

'Justice for you and me.' Lol ok
I am sorry to see what has happened, Joe. It seems someone has it out for you. Good luck

Joe 😮
Outrageous. Let people be!
This is why it's best to live in far rural areas, with more land space and far apart from neighbors.
Or just don’t be a hoarder.
@@ladesigner8764 there's obviously more to it than that, numb nuts.
At the very least, the tree of heaven does an excellent job of "cleaning" air pollution. facts.
Absolutely unfair; must be totally illegal. Best of luck fighting them off.
Right. You live next to him then. This guy needs mental health. A hoarder.

I’m proud of Joe Davis! And I am hopeful that he will win against this. This is democracy. Mostly. Wishing you the best of luck, Joe!!!
