    I’m fortunate enough to have a BMW M5 and an MX5. If it’s fun you’re after (without losing your licence) the latter is the clear winner. B

    Funnily enough, in the 2 years I've had my 2017 Mazda 3, I've never once needed to use the touchscreen. The controls being down by my left hand become second nature & the system works fine 99% of the time. I'd hate to move to a touchscreen, the tactile buttons are way better.

    Blue diamonds, green clovers , orange Miatas! Bought my first 3 months ago . Love the 30th but couldn’t see spending almost 15,000 more for it . I got the cheapest one I could find, no options. Looks like some nice roads there for it there, Beautiful country! I just moved to the south west U.S. and can’t wait to do some exploring. Great video, I enjoyed it , thanks.

    Their relatively affordable little sports cars, with few, if any unnecessary and expensive options, that drives the price through the roof.
    They give a great driving experience, have a manual gear change that's recognised in the driving industry, as being one of the best there is, but above all else, their reliable.

    16Club owner here. Amazing vehicles. Had a Viper and a 911 recently. Wanted a dedicated AutoX car. The ND1 is just stellar, tons of fun, the ND2 must be that much better. Drove it 13 plus hours back home after taking it to Tail of the Dragon in Tennessee. No sweat. Find a bad review on one of these, go ahead, I’ll wait. I haven’t seen one. Thanks Bob always a good review.👍👍😎😎. Scotty Kilmer👎🏻😂😂

    The original roadster and still the best. I regularly see 15-20-year-old MX-5's on the road and I think the reason for that, aside from them be able to run forever, is because that new rear end looks like a Fiat from the '90s. The front end is gorgeous but how often do you stay sitting in front of one of these on the roads? Mazda should have thought about that.

    I own this car and I also owned an RF before that. I don't think it is annoying that the touch screen is not active while driving. I wouldn't want to touch it anyway while on the move. I am using the swivel wheel. Overall I actually think that the infotainment system is good. I am using Android Auto, never had a problem. I am using voice control for navigation and to play songs on UA-cam Music.

  • @135iN55
    @135iN55 4 роки тому +1

    "Everyone in the world agrees with me" means, "no one agrees with me." The MX5 is a weak piece of absolute shit for the masses. The Jag F-Type does 0-60 in less than half the time and out-handles the crap out of the ancient, lousy Miata. Some say the McLaren cabrios are better than Jag's but they are not, they sound almost as bad as the MX-5 and handle poorly. The MX-5 is OK for the money, but in the high $20Ks is hard to justify against any old econo shitbox. The new headlights are ugly.

      A 2014 V8 S (dynos around 560 HP) with a 7Y/100K Jaguar CPO bumper to bumper warranty still in affect with about 15K miles would run you in the high $20Ks as a final sale price. Check Jags national CPO database.

    • @BobFlavinVideo
      @BobFlavinVideo  4 роки тому

      Are you talking about US prices? The review is Irish and prices here are wildly different. I agree the Jag is faster and noisier but they are in two completely different classes

    • @135iN55
      @135iN55 4 роки тому

      @@BobFlavinVideo
      I'm talking about Jags official website where they list every CPO car with the asking price (so subtract 5-10%). CPO cars run about $5K above market, so subtract anothet $5K for a normal dealer or private seller.
      I know they are in different classes. One is the world's best sportscar with a fire-breathing supercharged V8 using all-forged internals that casually boosts to over 700HP for ~$1000 (easily under 3 secs to 60 mph), the best exhaust note in automotive history, superb user selectable handling, a top-tier sublime and gorgeous luxury interior made of hand-stitched premium hides coating the whole dash, doors, and seats, all aluminum interior knobs and most switches with knurled rubber grips, and a telescope-mirror 15 mil paint job. The Miata has cheap metal doors inside and out, garbage orange-peel 5 mil paint, and a rubberband engine that would struggle to cut your lawn.
      The Jag is completely silent inside at an effortless 1200 RPM 70 mph cruise, and top down it is calm, quiet, and wind turbulence-free. 8th is geared for 325 mph producing 31 mpg. Or, give it a quarter inch of pedal and the tires light-up in 5th gear or lower, and it's glorious roar outright embarrasses any Ferrari, Lambo, Vette, Audi, Porsche or shit-sound McLaren.
      We're talking about the greatest all around sportscar of all time, vs a POS Miata. Like all things quality, they cost less, not more. That's why rich people buy quality--because they're cheap bastards.
      Matt did a sensational review of a 2015, which is definitely the year to have. He explains why:
