Just my luck I put out a video saying something relatively nice about Insurgency and the day I do the community's on fire because NWI screwed the pooch again. Expect a video on that very soon.

As someone who exclusively plays the coop in this game, I gotta say you hit the nail on the head. The weird enemy behaviors, the hyper expensive nods on night outpost, the bullshit 1 hit K-Os, L.G.M.'s, you covered it all. The main issue I see with coop is the lack of gamemodes at THIS point in Sandstorm's lifecycle. Insurgency 2014 had 5 coop gamemodes, Day of Infamy launched with 3, but it took us two whole years to get a new coop gamemode that wasn't the stupid zombie mode, thats ridiculous. I hope they re-add in Survival mode and Conquer, maybe even Hunt if it were rebalanced a little bit. More variety is always better, and I adore Sandstorm's gunplay and movement mechanics, so I hope they continue to throw us coop kids a bone, even though I know multiplayer streams are what gets all the clicks
Well, actually, when Nightfall came out, before they updated their AI framework, night bots couldn't see you in the dark unless they were within melee distance and they would only see you in lit areas or if you were lit by a flashlight. Bots were not that bad before the AI framework update. I'm rank 460 having played exclusively Coop and, right now, the AI is much better since the AI framework update. Actually, it's even a bit too easy but it might be because I know how the AI works now, most of the spawns and all of that. It's very rare when I get shot from super far or when I get shot through smoke. I died more to stupid teammates not understanding the concept of line of fire or baiting suppressive fire in my direction than to bullshit AI. I think that the AI could use some more complex behaviors like Marksmen actually staying back and having longer acquisition distance or Gunners going prone, things like that. I also wish the AI had a sort of "group strategy" to better coordinate, to create flanks and all of that to avoid conga lines. The prone spam while shooting is awful and needs to be fixed. I don't understand the one shot melee from AI either. I would love if technical and mounted MGs were more available in Coop too. Outpost could use one more supply point per wave to give players more choice as waves go by, so that it can feel as "sandboxy" as Checkpoint. Honestly, for me, Checkpoint is awesome because I like playing Commander and Checkpoint gets so fun to me with fire support.
Their night behavior before the framework update was the best. It rewarded you for staying away from light sources just like any real world op. Now, night mode is nothing more than day coop plus debuffs to player vision/ADS. Let's also not forget when they implemented the framework which saw AI snapping through walls and such, and didn't offer an explanation till WEEKS later. And the "fix" to this didn't come until more weeks after their explanation.
@@Elkybam Yes I liked running in the dark, flashlight off and then, as I came close to them, I would blind them with the light (which was an actual feature that worked well, almost too well) and clean everything. The light adaptation also worked better so you could actually see much better in the dark if you did not stare into lights. Yeah, the AI framework update was a bit "dropped on us" and, in my opinion, I think it would have been better if that update staid intern until they could refine the AI instead of releasing it like it was.
@@DivingHawker I don't know if I came in after the update or what but night maps have always been utter trash in this game. The devs act like ambient light isn't a thing. NODs don't do anything either except make lit areas obnoxiously over-exposed and impossible to see in.
@@homeygfunkoffacherryfruitl4971 I can't really compare to how it was back then since I have changed screen twice since then but NVGs used to be mainly overexposed in well lit areas like right under a lamp post while allowing you to see very well anywhere else except maybe in very dark corners. Right now, it might be due to my screen and game settings, but running around without NVGs works wonders for me.
What i like about night modes are the nvg point shoot, it just felt satisfying for me, i really hope the devs do that for daytime aswell as a keybind and not some attachments lol
When you mentioned solo clutch on outpost, my PTSD from defending A on Farmhouse single handedly. It took me about 5 minutes after all my teammates were dead to finally clear the obj from Insurgents, my heartbeat never skyrocketed that high
"Basic to Advanced strategies like getting the high ground" Me wondering what I did wrong after being 1 tapped for the 5th time by a mp5a2 wielding bot
New kinds types of objectives would be great too, like bomb defusal, hostage rescue. Perhaps adding civilian npcs to confuse and add life to the maps. That way we could have insergents try and blend with the crowd. Also, hardcore checkpoint is fun. Sorry that you're wrong.
The problem with PVE is that literally every fight basically goes the same way, get to objective and mow enemies down as they spawn. Also, enemies can one shot you across the map, through smoke and half the time I get exploded my a suicide bomber in the next room a teammate is supposed to be covering, also, I always get the guy who spams flash bangs and doesn’t give a shit that they effect his teammates more than the enemy. Also, pinpoint accurate mortar fire is not only annoying but also virtually impossible in a real world situation without making adjustments.
I want to see survival from Insurgency (2014) in Sandstorm. Survival is pretty much an infinite game mode (like you mentioned) where two objectives are randomly chosen on the map and one of the must be captured. Once one is captured you gain supply points (as you start out with very few), your teammates respawn and two new objectives are randomly chosen. This game mode is by far the best for learning maps because you will find yourself going from everywhere to everywhere else, and it is a functionally infinite game mode which you mentioned you would like to see (you can actually win, but if I remember correctly that takes 100 waves). One of my favorite games of coop on 2014 was survival on station where I found the bots spawn point as machine gunner, got almost 800 kills, and piled up so many bodies there that new enemies could no loner spawn on the map. My favorite coop mode from 2014 was hunt (no respawns for players or AI, players need to kill all the alive enemies and destroy a cache) but I understand that very few people liked it like I did so I don't exactly expect it to be added to Sandstorm any time soon.
Oh man, as a former coop main player, this video hits a lot of nails on the head. And you didn't even need to play a lot of coop to spot all the main problems with the AI. How nonsensical they act, how bullshit they feel a lot of the time. How broken a lot of things are. I'd only talk more about the Night mode because there are even more issues with it and once the initial honeymoon phase with it was over I realized I hated night mode for all it's issues, mainly that you can't see shit with or WITHOUT NVGs. Flashlight gang. Not that the bots care, they just see you clear as day because they always knew where you are anyway. Well, not like it matters anymore. After NWI showing how entirely out of touch with any part of the community they really are, I don't have any hope of them ever making it the game it could be. I'm done, I'm out and I wish you good luck, sir. Your videos are great.
I've played over 400 hours in coop and the bots get easier to kill and take advantage of but the Molotov never fails to kill me at least once a round. They should just rework the bots entirely but I highly doubt they ever will. Rip coop
@@BoilingBroth The only counter play I found against those molotovs from God was to be always on the move and never stay in one position for more than a few seconds if you have enemy contacts.
I posted this on the discussions the other day and it's how I feel about coop: Changes I would personally like to see to COOP - COOP teams should be reduced from 8 to perhaps 5. Personally I think reducing the player count would make the game mode more challenging and enjoyable. For one there would be more enemies to kill for everyone instead of veteran players using good strats and obliterating the whole enemy team leaving the other players bored. There would also need to be more actual teamwork involved I believe. As it is everyone really just does their own thing and there is essentially no real teamwork. Almost feels like you are playing Solo at times, especially when the OP is quick and easy. - Allow everyone to choose the class of their choice. Aside from the Commander and radioman, all other classes should be available without a limited amount of players who could play said class. More often than not there is one person in a lobby who will hog one class and prevent everyone else from using a weapon they want to use or gadgets they want to run. I am guilty of it too don't get me wrong. The Garand has quickly become my favourite gun to run and I more often than not exclusively play marksman to use it. Allowing everyone to use whatever kit they want would for sure make the game more enjoyable for everyone. Plus it would leave opportunity for fun team compositions like everyone running demo taking as much explosives as possible or everyone taking .50 rifles just for fun times. There could be so many different team compositions that could be really fun. - Make Double Hardcore normal Hardcore Double Hardcore was the most fun I had in Sandstorm. The fear of being ended by skilled AI in only one bullet actually slowed the pace of the game and actually made people play methodically for once. Plus the feeling of smaller caliber guns like the UZI one shotting was super satisfying. And for the love of all things holy in this world; bring back Frenzy. Please.
they can still see you through the walls today. i saw a glitch a month or two ago that let me get a look at a small group of them that were on some stairs about 30yd away from the still living players. they were all tracking the nearest player in perfect unison despite several layers of buildings and other solid materials. they have perfect 3D awareness of the game. why wouldn't they though? i think they recently cranked the cheese rather than try to hide the fact that bot couldn't forget where you're at if it tried.
Personally I just want survival of the original insurgency. Always being on the move between objectives encountering better equipped enemies always was extremely fun for me.
I come from the future present where most of the problems you listed in this video are still present to this day. lol. besides the techie. they have the techie now.
In outpost don’t take the high ground! Find a corner in a room with one entrance/exit. And sweat the match out 😂. If you’re the last one insult the AI till they attack and then finish em off.
It's been a while since a dude with a dishtowel on his ahead and a hipower blew my head off at 100 yards, so I'd say they've definitely changed something.
Good video man! I always play domination because other players make it competetive versus bots who just run in groups and are easy to kill! You were spot on with that one!
Unfortunatly as much as i still love watching this game....im one of the many people who are still waiting for the console release of this game....not everyone has the physical space to have a computer set up just to be able to play these games. however almost everyone has a TV they can plug a console into....PLEASE make it happen NWI
As a big Hardcore Coop player (my first 100 levels were on that gamemode), I'm surprised you call it "not fun". But I completely agree on the entire AI problematic. In Hardcore, the sole main difference is that bots detects you when you're running so you have to take your time, but everything else is still valid. I have to say, after the last AI update, bots going for the point during a counter-attack tends to be the exception rather than the rule, where before they were coming to the point but in a conga line. I also want to point something out : you know how outpost have special enemy types ? Why can't we have this in the other coop modes ? And please bring Frenzy back...
This absolutely still happens now, but what I have been facing recently is every time they throw a grenade, it's ready to explode.I'd never have you left time to get away. They always throw it exactly right
Honestly, the history lesson about the AI was pretty much spot-on. That being said, I don't think the criticism on Nightfall was justified, per se. Nightfall was actually a baller update that added new AI mechanics. Sure, occasionally a bot would just one-tap you from a mile off, but it felt much less common on night maps. Sometimes a bot would be ten feet away from you but couldn't see you because of the dark. Flashlights could blind hostiles and made it harder for them to line up a shot on you. I had a game where I got the most kills in a Hardcore Checkpoint match with about 36 and I only used a Welrod. Now, your criticism about night maps was after Clean Sweep. Let me tell you about Clean Sweep. Clean Sweep did fix one major bug that had been annoying me, which was that I couldn't actually set my audio option to "headphones" even if I was using headphones. I think most directional audio was still alright, but one thing that wasn't alright was footsteps. I could only hear someone walking or running if I was looking in their direction; annoying as hell on Frenzy, especially. That being said, Clean Sweep completely destroyed the game, or at least, the PvE setting. Bots were more bullshit than ever, hitting ridiculous shots constantly throughout a match. I even have a game where I recorded every player death after Clean Sweep here: ua-cam.com/video/6HRSuljJrds/v-deo.html Not only were bots bullshit shots, but 1.7.1 broke Night Maps completely. Bots can now see you perfectly as if you're on a day map. The crackshot issue was partially addressed in a hotfix six days after Clean Sweep. The bots being able to see perfectly at night has not been fixed to this day. As for Outpost, I really hate that mode. It's like New World was wondering how to spice up Outpost without just throwing a fuckton of guys at you (which is what I would've done because that's the point), and one of them asked the others "...ya'll heard of PAYDAY?". Seriously, it feels more cartoony than Frenzy, and Frenzy was designed to be a joke. And somehow, Outpost, which apparently isn't supposed to be a joke, is supposed to replace Frenzy. Why did New World add in these special enemies? I'm not against some variation as long as it's realistic, like the suicide bombers. That being said, an entire wave of one special really makes no sense. IMO it should've all been done like Wave 7 where they throw a bit of everything at you at once. That makes more sense, at least. But some of these specials are harder to kill than regular enemies, on top of having fancy abilities. Shooting an enemy with a Mosin, watching him shrug it off, and then getting flickshotted by an MG3 or Grease Gun isn't Insurgency. That shit makes zero sense in an Insurgency title. Really all the new specials piss me off: - You have the Banger, which runs twice as fast (in a game where you already run too fast IMO), uses Flashbangs (sometimes), takes more damage before dying, and uses a suppressed Grease Gun, so if you can't immediately spot him, then that's a wrap because it doesn't matter that it's a .45 ACP. He'll one-shot you with it from 80 meters. - Then there's the Grenadier, who just spams frag grenades which is annoying as shit with the wrong environment, who also has the FAMAS, the most lethal AR in the game because apparently, he wasn't cancer enough. I think he can also tank a Mosin round. - The Rocketeer who spams a rocket launcher. Because that's fun and balanced. When they aren't firing rockets they only have a sidearm, but anything in a bot's hands can be a god gun. - The Blaster is a joke. Not only is he quite a bit harder to kill than normal (which already doesn't make sense), but he's armed with an LMG that fires at 1200 RPM that can kill you with one body shot regardless of armor. But him having an MG3 won't stop him from flickshotting you. -> Suicide bombers already existed, but entire waves of them don't really make sense. And to top it all off, I feel like Outpost gives you some trash XP. Hardcore Checkpoint gives you way more and you don't have to worry about a Bulldozer fucking your shit up. EDIT: yeah, and the classes. Day of Infamy had bot classes and they actually did what they would realistically do. Snipers would sit at certain places to snipe from, and MG bots would set up in predefined positions to fuck your shit up.
That would be awesome but there are not enough players to make coop checkpoint, checkpoint hardcore, push, and zombies, and everything else. Players would be scatered away and the waiting time would be horrible
I remember when the game first came out, they used to have ai spawn shortly after a point was taken behind the player spawn so if u weren't quick enough a bomber would take out the entire team while everyone was resupplying.
This game has so much great gameplay design, the gunplay and that sweet spot between fun and realism is unmatched. I just wish they could add some interesting modes to put that gameplay to use! How about 5 man squads completing spec ops style missions - raiding an embassy and taking out targets while keeping hostages alive, for example. There's loads you could do with that formula
I've always wanted a TDM mode as it's good for warmup and good for new players to learn mechanics. Always wanted one since Insurgency Mod way back in the day but people seem way to against it. I think it would be fun and bring a lot more casual players to the game.
You know I'll never understand how a guy running around with a 1911 can shoot through 2 walls or even shoot through an engine block.. Literally every time I load up I'll get one tapped by a 1911 through a wall
I just started playing this game in July 2022, and I specifically bought this game for basically the solo, offline, PVE mode. I'm not against PVP or even coop but I don't have xbox live right now or a headset for coms. Anyway, I'm thinking the devs must have polished this game mode even more since this video came out because my experience has left me very impressed with the AI of the enemies. They're always flanking me, they'll rush an objective in small groups from different doorways at once, and they'll sometimes sit in a corner of a popular (often occupied) building and blast me as soon as I turn a corner. They're still bots, they still do dumb shit at times or they'll perfectly nail me with a shot from 200m away with a base SMG. But still, I have been super impressed with the AI overall and it vastly outshines any other shooter I've ever played that featured a single player PVE mode.
That's why I run my own community server. I adjusted the number of players and bots to 12 v.s. 50 which I feel more balanced, and just start with 50pts so everyone can play whatever they want. A lot of AI behaviors can be tweaked in the server setting, and it definitely fixed part of their bs aiming or tactics. So maybe try out some community server, some of them are really good. BTW, I have 120 tick rate on my server (60 by default) and it makes big difference.
I have found that if you are leading in kills by a significant margin, the game strikes you down. Either with the molotov or a "ghost" bullet. I seem to get killed quite often with single random round from nowhere. kill cam sweeps around and shows nothing.
Hardcore Checkpoint isn't fun, if you want real hardcore, just disable your HUD in the options menu and disconnect from the server you're on when you die. Why would you want to have a bolt action when you respawn anyway? it's even worse on night maps cuz u get a shit flashlight that just blinds your teammates that wear nvgs and gets you killed more than enough.
A lot of what makes coop great in Sandstorm is the server and people you team with. If you find a good server (one which I have played 800+ hrs on) then it does make all the difference. Great video btw!
Also mind you the official discord server has biased mods that strictly mute or try to ban you for saying something bad about the game. No wonder they are trying to please the very little community left.
Weirdly, I wonder if NWI should do what Ready or Not did and focus on the PVE. I switched almost entirely to PVE without even noticing it, never thinking I would do so. It's still super fun, even a year later.
I mean the molotov thing really isn't that much of an issue, once you start pulling aggro or fire off a few bursts just change cover. Always stay mobile.
As a COOP player, this video hits hard. I wanted the night mode to be so much more than it was, but it fell so short. They could’ve allowed for missions and hunts. Kinda like Clean House and Wolf’s Den in MW2019 but turned up to 11. The way I look at COOP nowadays, you have to be perfect at all times, because mistakes lead to near instant death. I wish they took more time for this game and these modes. If they expanded it and actually put more time into it, I feel like there could be a resurgence. Great video as always Snipes!
The only real "oh shit we're probably gonna lose here" moments i have caused by the AI comes from suicide bombers when they get through a door we forgot to watch. Aside from them bots are kinda non-threats unless there's like 20 of them.
I've been playing Insurgency for a while now. I even managed to set up my own server with Angry Bots. Back in Decemper I debated if I should buy Insurgency: Sandstorm and take a look. This is the first video i've seen that has anything to do with Sandstorm and I can't believe that the bots are somewhat the same in both games.
Co-Op has only gotten worse over the years. The bots are absolutely atrocious, they randomly run around like you'd expect AI to do, aimbot you, and shoot out their backs constantly.
in a co-op main but I do usually play domination “even though im a demo main” and its because ppl try hard so much on pvp and SHOULDER FIRE MACHINE GUNS!
I play coop as a speed run. Get every objective, no award for Azreal or PTFO at the end if you get too many kills it seems. It's easy and when I just want a power trip. PVP majority of players play the same tactics over and over, and I know with people using kill cams, they are going to want revenge when I kill 4 or 5 of them in the first wave so I just change locations to overlook my previous and kill the same guys again. I do like the PVE mod ISMC for insurgency because it's just fun with the so many different weapons and customization and just the absurd fact that I can equip UMP45, MP5, MP7, and a full auto Glock 18 in the same loadout. It's kinda fun and you get to literally mow down 100s of bots each time with some pretty shitty designed player made maps and shitty AI spawn points that are in the open and able to rocket or mow down with an M249 from previous objective. Night mod is meh. I turn gamma up and don't even bother with nods or tacticool fleshlights
Yesterday something happened that made me alt+f4 , one of the elite insurgents walked in a room , shoot me once, failed, I also shoot him fmbut failed, then he gave 3 steps, started going prone, and 2 shoot me from across the room while in the Middle of the animation of going prone
Another note if you play local the defending ai will almost always destroy your attacking ai cause the attacking ai just runs in balls to the wall and die immediately
Yeah, I tried the game during the free weekend and its the pve that got me hooked up. But I'm glad (or sad, don't know which is worse) to see that my moments of "this is bullshit" are not just me whining
1:36 & 1:43 ah yes this happened to me the other day turned the game off when i got shot through the wall at the start of a survival round, sums up most of my encounters with AI getting 1 shot while they’re visually looking away from me or lit up through walls🔥
ive been playing coop since launch and have not touched matchmaking. i love but really we need a quality of life update. i use the mode to basically practice my cqc skills cause i lack that the most. and it really does suck when you creep into a room. slowly clearing and boom you get shot through the door by a bot.
Damn its going to be hard to go back to CoD after the free weekend of Insurgency: Sandstorm. I couldn't scrape together 15$ in time so now I'll have to wait until I can afford it at 30$. They really should keep the sale going a few days after a free weekend. The pain of having a game installed that you can't play is a strong motivator.
Been binging the hardcore mode on Xbox over the past few months... Good to see literally not a single thing had changed. Constant wallbanging. You can take this game as tactically and perfectly as possible, but still get absolutely screwed by insane AI. Normally I'd be down for the "oh sh*t" moments, but it gets really ridiculous in hardcore. I can't believe they haven't even touched ANYTHING about the AI in two freaking years.
I love the co-op. Whenever I want to play, but I don't have much patience to get nervous, I choose co-op... and depending on the team, how other people play the game, man, it's absolutely better than pvp
Hooooooly shit, the beginning of the video is EXACTLY what I was worried about... I feel like r6 siege t hunt was the same... glad i checked this before just assuming a pop game like this would be fine..time to watch the rest and see if it's okay now or not. ..
Nice video! You have a lot of interesting ideas. This game if done right can be a silent killer coming out of the blue. Another topic to bring up in pvp is fixing the damn restricted areas. Please make this a focus on a video as i can see how many new players will lose interest in the game because the spawn killing in cheeky areas where the attacking team cant get to. I hope i made this make sense.
I would love to see a mix a Co-Op version of the pvp mode where you take and defend points but instead of all of you dying meaning losing you lose under the same conditions as outpost and win if you do the same to the bots.
If you're from PC you can play all the pvp mode solo with bots and offline, they are not programed for that so they can't make strategy anyway they can use the support and even can win the game.
Just my luck I put out a video saying something relatively nice about Insurgency and the day I do the community's on fire because NWI screwed the pooch again. Expect a video on that very soon.
That stream overall was a big OOF, and then they topped it all of with raiding an offline stream. Sad, just sad.

Bomb defusals are probably the more realistic options
They need to add hostage rescue I don’t know why that’s not a thing yet. Interrogators need to get information somehow.
@@iCherrryyt with the Availability to extract via helo
Rip coop
Agreed dude, I've had this game since pre-order and loved it but its really missing out on its potential. RIP campaign and so far console port.
@@BoilingBroth The only counter play I found against those molotovs from God was to be always on the move and never stay in one position for more than a few seconds if you have enemy contacts.
I posted this on the discussions the other day and it's how I feel about coop:
Changes I would personally like to see to COOP
- COOP teams should be reduced from 8 to perhaps 5.
- Make Double Hardcore normal Hardcore
Double Hardcore was the most fun I had in Sandstorm. The fear of being ended by skilled AI in only one bullet actually slowed the pace of the game and actually made people play methodically for once. Plus the feeling of smaller caliber guns like the UZI one shotting was super satisfying.
And for the love of all things holy in this world; bring back Frenzy. Please.
A year later: aint shit changed...
This was 100% true at the time, but in 2024 it's an entire new ball game
they can still see you through the walls today. i saw a glitch a month or two ago that let me get a look at a small group of them that were on some stairs about 30yd away from the still living players. they were all tracking the nearest player in perfect unison despite several layers of buildings and other solid materials. they have perfect 3D awareness of the game. why wouldn't they though? i think they recently cranked the cheese rather than try to hide the fact that bot couldn't forget where you're at if it tried.
2:09 excuse me, mr. snipes. Ain't that the PVP experience aswell?
now, I realize this may be an unpopular opinion, but to be fair, the bot's perfect molotov aiming did have one perk . . . it was funni
A new mode would be nice as well lol, something along the lines of Hunt from Insurgency or Raid from DOI would fit pretty well here.
and I thought I'm the only person who want Hunt or Raid mode
Personally I just want survival of the original insurgency. Always being on the move between objectives encountering better equipped enemies always was extremely fun for me.
I come from the future present where most of the problems you listed in this video are still present to this day. lol. besides the techie. they have the techie now.
yeah for real
In outpost don’t take the high ground! Find a corner in a room with one entrance/exit. And sweat the match out 😂. If you’re the last one insult the AI till they attack and then finish em off.
It's been a while since a dude with a dishtowel on his ahead and a hipower blew my head off at 100 yards, so I'd say they've definitely changed something.
This series cements you even more as the definitive sandstorm youtuber, well done!
Insurgency: the game where you either get sniped by an uzi from 100~ meters away or you get John wicked by a terrorist with a dragunov
I even have a game where I recorded every player death after Clean Sweep here: ua-cam.com/video/6HRSuljJrds/v-deo.html
Not only were bots bullshit shots, but 1.7.1 broke Night Maps completely.
Really all the new specials piss me off:
- You have the Banger, which runs twice as fast (in a game where you already run too fast IMO), uses Flashbangs (sometimes), takes more damage before dying, and uses a suppressed Grease Gun, so if you can't immediately spot him, then that's a wrap because it doesn't matter that it's a .45 ACP.
I do wish we had more gamemodes like the ones from the previous insurgency, could help to spice up the gameplay
That would be awesome but there are not enough players to make coop checkpoint, checkpoint hardcore, push, and zombies, and everything else.
Players would be scatered away and the waiting time would be horrible
SS: working on a *G O O D V I B E S* video about insurgency.
NWI: well we can't have that **releases new cosmetics like a boss**
AI that fights smart is military grade AI, we will never see it. That software will go to the next generation drones and terminators.
5:14 i genuinely thought my smoke detector went off
I remember when the game first came out, they used to have ai spawn shortly after a point was taken behind the player spawn so if u weren't quick enough a bomber would take out the entire team while everyone was resupplying.
The older insurgency had some crazy ass coop . Really miss dous
1:50
My friend and I call them ICBMs (Intercontinental Ballistic Molotov)
honestly surprised Coop doesnt have Survival, that mode is the one of the reasons why i prefer insurgency 2014 over sandstorm
NWI needs to bring back survival mode, imo best mode in old insurgency
also flashlights in day maps
“No, no, please. ‘Mr. Snipes’ is my father.”
I only ever play CO OP - i think in the last year since this was uploaded things have changed. The AI are badass
1:50 Yo that insurgent gotta be amazing at basketball, he launched that from miles away holy.
Word has it nfl scouts got trapped in the Panjshir Valley trying to find the golden armed insurgency group now known as the "Brady bunch."
Thing I noticed immediately was that playing solo was now viable. My AI teammates aren't dead after 10 seconds and I actually have a chance now.
Funny. I just started playing this literally last night. And all these things you mentioned happened to me. Especially that molotovs.
The only real "oh shit we're probably gonna lose here" moments i have caused by the AI comes from suicide bombers when they get through a door we forgot to watch. Aside from them bots are kinda non-threats unless there's like 20 of them.
Please make a video on the removal of competitive :(
Habibi san approves!
I gave sandstorm a try during the free weekend, and fell in love with the co-op. Bought the game and enjoying it a lot.
Love when snipers shoot at close targets... you have a 7 time scope, shoot people far away, your team can kill danger close.
Wake up honey Sick Snipes posted Insurgency Sandstorm Content
play Hardcore mode? I'm playing that right now.
Commenting for the algorithm so NWI can see this etc.
Getting hit with the melee probably is representing getting knocked out
It’s crazy most of these issues still around a year later 🤣
"supply point system must be removed from loadout and game itself"
!!!CHANGE MY MIND!!!
IMO I wish they brought Ambush to Co-Op. It wouldn't have that same punch or rush of adrenaline but night time Ambush on Gap sounds tight as fuck.
Bring back the survival from the original game. That was my favourite mode
You know what'd be interesting is if a single player played and coordinated the AI in hardcore
Like arma zeus mode?
Heck you might have the idea of the day!
Sign me the f* up
@@lajus-debattheo1745 hell yeah, there would have to be less AI though
Co-op would get annoying back than yet I just couldn't stop playing it hahaha
*Molotov PTSD flashbacks INTENSIFY*
Another note if you play local the defending ai will almost always destroy your attacking ai cause the attacking ai just runs in balls to the wall and die immediately
Yeah, I tried the game during the free weekend and its the pve that got me hooked up. But I'm glad (or sad, don't know which is worse) to see that my moments of "this is bullshit" are not just me whining
They have a shaky way of managing everything
1:36 & 1:43 ah yes this happened to me the other day turned the game off when i got shot through the wall at the start of a survival round, sums up most of my encounters with AI getting 1 shot while they’re visually looking away from me or lit up through walls🔥
These memes are on point and I love it.
Your DJ voice reminds me of Sandman.
Thank you for the info
ive been playing coop since launch and have not touched matchmaking. i love but really we need a quality of life update. i use the mode to basically practice my cqc skills cause i lack that the most. and it really does suck when you creep into a room. slowly clearing and boom you get shot through the door by a bot.
12:27 i've never seen that animation in game, did you mod that in or is it just rare?
I love the co-op. Whenever I want to play, but I don't have much patience to get nervous, I choose co-op... and depending on the team, how other people play the game, man, it's absolutely better than pvp
Insurgency source has been plagued by these issues for so many years, NWI is unlikely to address the grenade sniping and aim bot problem anytime soon.
Hooooooly shit, the beginning of the video is EXACTLY what I was worried about... I feel like r6 siege t hunt was the same... glad i checked this before just assuming a pop game like this would be fine..time to watch the rest and see if it's okay now or not. ..
6:58 lol these dolphin dives got me laughing out loud
if they remove the mosin from the AI's arsenal co-op instantly becomes much better
Love to see co op get some love and changes sound good
Idk task force 666 is super fun for me. Especially if you're under the influence. It can get pretty crazy
