By far the most beautiful property you have listed. Minimal renovation and the potential is off the chart. I wish I was 53 not 73. It’s the first property I would love to live in. I really enjoy your videos and look forward to you returning to your own build.

Boom! This property is an excellent investment and priced proper! I would be so surprised if there were not multiple offers by the middle of the week. The area around Avelar is one of our favourite in central Portugal. Carlos' enthusiasm is contagious and we love his attitude.

Great property and great video. Have you ever thought about doing a video about updating the property videos and saying which ones sold and which ones are still available? You could do it by agent or if someone has just a couple add a of agents together. It would make for an interesting video.

I can see why you love the house, Nick. It is gorgeous!!! The furniture is eye dropping for antique lovers. The garden is lovely and I would put in a lap pool (long and narrow) to the right as you look at the garden.
I wouldn't be able to cut down trees for a pool, no way José!

This one has it all! Just amazing how well maintained an 100 year old place is. Hard to come up with a negative. The only thing I can come up with is the modern place right next door. It doesn't fit in with the area. Who ever gets this place is going to have a great life.

Wow. So much potential. I love the floors and ceilings. Large bedrooms. That big open space in the garage area is amazing. The grounds are phenomenal. From the street you don’t think much of but the rest is Shangri-La❤🎉. I don’t know what the zoning regulations are but you have so much Airbnb potential as well as function site for weddings etc

Just amazing … this place has my head spinning with ideas, although there’s very little I’d change! The beautiful old Portuguese furniture (not an Ikea chair or bed in sight!👌), the ancient Oliveiras, the well, Calçada … and the price! I’m in shock. 🤣🇵🇹

Yes I can just see it with a big swimming pool with a diving board from the lovely living room. I’m sure my good wife would love to tip me out of my wheelchair into the pool! I can just see the smile on her face as she tips me out or even just pushes the wheelchair and me out. 😂😂😂
That furniture is so nice set in that house there is some absolutely gorgeous pieces in there. Like you I’m not a religious person but that cupboard set up to idolise those who have passed away would make a lovely wine cupboard so it would still be there to idolise something but it would be the grape that passed through the press for the wine. Ideal or not?😂😂

Nice one. Although I see damp on the wall behind the old radio, cracked walls and what seems like roof trusses that have had major supports missing. It needs a rewire, heating etc. Having said that I reckon spend 50k - 80k and you have something really pretty special.
More like €100,000 taking you to around €300,000 all in.

The roof has been there for at least 100 years and if you built in the barn area it would pick up a massive swathe of the roof that was never supported.
I don't know if it would need rewiring or just added too, I expect the later and all the plumbing is good so I agree with your rough estimate 👌

Hi nick. Another great video tour/presentation. But the kinds/prices of your latest ones are getting up there, more and more out of reach of even my wildest dreams. This made me nostalgic for the early ones you made with Paula. So I went to your channel and theirs (Casa Rural?), and I couldn't find any of your earlier collaboration. Does this mean they (properties in the videos) are ALL sold? I couldn't find ANY one of your earlier team ups. I miss going back and watching those. What gives?
We finished our contract with Paula and it didn't feel fair on us to leave them up for free advertising for her so we took them down.
I've been filming what I'm offered and what's selling which is generally turn key properties but we have some cheaper ones in the pipeline 😉

Huge stone building with lovely garden. I thought you had to own the land of any overlooking window so perhaps that is why they blocked them. Could have been sold off as looks like the neighbours land now.
There were windows there historically so no problem to reopen by law.
Also the land/window thing came in around 22/23 so I doubt it 👌
But yes, when you look from the drone it looks like it's been chopped up for sure.
Just offer to buy that little triangle of land and any potential problem is solved.

Hello Robert, work starts again at home this winter, I hope you can stick around.
This is a means to an end to make some pennies to do the work, we started with nothing and currently have nothing so we need funds to get more done, we are getting there and work starts again in October.
We finished our contract with Paula and wanted to move in a different direction, that's all.

@destino2portugal I'm not saying that you or anyone else should do that, and I hope that in this day and age, no one does other than the odd occasion for a friend.
You have to remember Nick that we sit thousands of miles from you behind a screen and watch you have and make fun, we know nothing of your financial dealings other than you say you're always skint as we all do you some may well say that while having loads of money in the bank. As I say, we only see you for perhaps an hour in your week, and even that's edited to show what you want.
We all perhaps falsely assumed you were doing these videos on a commission basis with a basic cost per video not doing them gratis or anything like that.
