Yeah, I got the chance to meet him at the Springcreek National last year. And it was pretty much the same. Didn't really say much. Maybe he's just not very comfortable talking to people? Who knows, I'm still a fan though.
BlackSn0wz I’d say you’re right but that doesn’t mean that’s a problem. He’s a racer and controls his own life. He’s a boss I like that he’s low profile and remains a mystery that’s a sign of intelligence.

Been saying this for years, if he could consistently get a top 5 start, he would definitely have an easier chance at a championship, but still he hasn't improved much in his starts. I think it's to do with his gearing and suspension set up and how he is able to ride the bike, like he is, at higher speeds on rough track.
@@Relentless2E2K he gets alright starts I just noticed he tends to shut off earlier then some others coming into the corner, his hole shot on the weekend was good from next to the box, gave him abit of room to his left and was able to stay on the gas a little longer
Man, I remember watching the live broadcast of this...and I was just like. Holy shit. Tomac is one of, if not one of the best riders we have in the sport...in the states that is. He has just the natural ability, and the raw tenacity that it takes...to be a champion. Sure, he hasn't got his first Supercross title yet. But I'm thinking this year, just might be the year...and let's not forget about Motocross. He is already a THREE time consecutive champion! And here's to number four in 2020! Go ET3!
GodOfWar221 Good on you for not believing America = the world. Much respect to that. Love the AMA series, watch the indoor and outdoor. Watch the MXGP as well and it’s clear they are a higher standard of MX competition.
James Stewart said in his last interview that Tomac as the only rider he worried about coming up....he had speed that nobody else had. Thats saying a TON when the FMOP says that!
Gaming Central Yeah, Stewart was done by then. RV was fast.... then he went to Europe and was 15 seconds a lap slower than Cairoli. It’s all relative. No excuses, right??!?
Championships are for the riders and their teams. I am a fan and spectator so I watch the guy that excites me the most and that guy is Tomac. He rides on the edge and uses every bit of power his machine will make. I’d love to see him win more championships but that doesn’t take anything away from his riding talent.
Honda never looked so good. You take stats out of the equation and Eli’s the goat! When he’s on his game nobody can touch him. Let’s talk about Weston running third though that man was awesome I bumped in to him in Seattle one time he’s a humble great dude. His crash in Paris is probably the saddest thing to ever happen in supercross
This to this day is one of the baddest things I’ve ever seen anybody do on a dirtbike in a race, and I watch all of them like every single race! ET3!!!
Applying bicycle techniques to his riding.......is Mr Tomac senior involved in the evolution or Eli just inherited the style and grace. Congrats to both
Wow Eli was on a Honda,in 2015,its a cool move but its actually easier than u think, tall lanky riders have an advantage, what come into play hear is two things but mainly one Honda linkage ratio gets stiffer when the whoops are hitting it with the wheelie at a high position and the higher u keep the wheel the easier it is too control the hit of the rear tire,I did this same move, not as fast,at the meadowlands Amatuer supercross after watching Jean Michelle Bayle do it in the 250sx main the track was dry and there was a big whoop at the end, slow turn before it,Eli is going so fast beautiful to watch,it was actually very easy, everyone was like oh wow it actually a endurance energy saving move instead of using your legs to move ur weight thru the whoops u just get the bike on the bubble of power, get your weight in the right spot and tap the rear on each whoop and use the rear suspension and save human energy and mental too, because the linkage does all the work because u put it in a stronger position to resist compressing and u don't ,sorry your body does go up and down with the whoops it stays flatter....practice it and you will see...play time u can learn stuff,experiment.....see y'all, holy crap Eli is haulin...THANKS
Really is unbelievable. It is hard enough showboating on flat ground and controlling a bike not half as powerful. Then add those rollers, which are always taller and steeper in person ... truly incredible.
I like Marvin because he’s a good rider and always top three in the point standings. Too bad he is out for Supercross this year. So it is just between Eli and Ken. Eli is only one point behind I’m hoping to see him take the point lead today.
Some whoops sections are so 'off' you just cannot go fast. What a clever guy to try something like that. He did not pick up any real time but at least his front end was not doing the fish out of water routine. I hate whoops. Track designers always try to screw up rider momentum. Tomac is top notch.
I’ll never be able to scroll past this video and not watch it. So damn good every time!
Same here, just had to watch it one more time 👍
It doesn’t get old. Although he didn’t win any titles in 2015. 2015 Eli tomac May have been the best rider in the history of the sport.
Exciting rider Eli will leave a mark in motocross. Best part about him is his quiet humbleness.
Eli doesnt talk to anyone. Ive been face to face with the guy 3 times and all i got was an autograph.

This was a thing of beauty! A very talented racer showing his skill.

Probably the most talented guy out there. If he could just belive in it himself.
He is the best most fastest guy and he believes it
And he knows it. I just wish he would ride red again
Dusty Carson in ama yes
Him and ryan dungey used to battle so bad it was not even funny.
With Marvin out it’s just Tomac and Roczen. Tomac will have both titles.
I can’t count the times I’ve watched Tomac wheel tap through rollers and rhythm sections! One of the greatest
I still love seeing this all these years later. Tomac was at his fastest with Honda in my opinion. ✊🏼👊🏼
He was so far ahead on Honda before he wrecked at colorado every moto that year he got first before the injury. And I'm a kawasaki guy admitting this.
That's gorgeous riding! Man, I wish I could have seen that in person.
Most talented rider around no question
Until he goes to Europe and is 10-15 seconds a lap off the pace.
The things Eli does on a bike - in a race - are incredible.
i guess you never saw Stewart
