The e-save mode makes a ton of sense if you want to run a camp off the battery, not to flex that you can do a trail off electric like who cares. Unfortunately, unlike with the trailhunter and powerboost there is no real inverter to speak of. It pains me to bring along a solar generator in a hybrid. Ill probably wait for the 4 runner refresh but I really want a PHEV 😅
i dont think this trailhawk came with a LSD, many times the rear tires were spinning at different ratios while on low. Looks like LSD is now optional on trailhawks
This wouldve been a perfect video, but by bad talking Off-Road 2 before using the Swaybar disconnect, that was a poor choice. You should definitely redo this with that setup.
No potholes. Right rear brake rotor broke in half on my 2023 trailhawk with just 1450 miles on it. Dealer says I hit a pothole and it's not covered under warranty.
I have no idea why he's doing so much crying, anyone who's ever had a JGC knows it tripods regularly due to independent suspension and they still go anywhere anyone with sense would go completely stock, with ease...give me a break.
I like doing the tripod. I don't want a electric jeep I'll keep the WK 2 Trail hawk I'm good up to a 6.7 under the hood. No charging station in the middle of the pine Barrens out 4 wheeling ✌️
A spotter! Yes! An experienced (key word) spotter is invaluable in any off-roading especially if more than a Blue Trail!
Thanks for watching.

I wish if you had tried it in off road2 with sway bar disconnect. That will show us if it really makes any difference. Nice review nonetheless.
Thanks for watching.
We had every intention but were overrrun before we could film that configuration.
Great review
Thank you

I’m sorry that happened. Sounds like you need to find a secondary dealer opinion.
Go to another one and don't tell him about the pothole this time

This is an incredible example of how numbers on a spec sheet do NOT tell the full story.
Indeed.
That’s a lot of power from just the little gas motor
5.7?
Nope. The V8 is no longer offered in the shorter JGC, only the 3-row L. This is the plug-in hybrid with the 2.0L 4-cylinder and electric motor.
