they moved to seattle before the "explosion" on a coin flip...coulda went to new orleans...sub pop was a cant miss label back then and they never were "coattail riders", Nirvana were a perrenial opening band--Mudhoney, tad, were the leaders, anyway...they toured with the Dwarves in 92 and Dwarves were at their peak...but i remember the Supersuckers set...you knew right away they were real deal. i preferred La Mana Cornuda to Smoke...and those early singles were smokin'. One of their best covers...of many. Its one f Ice Cubes best tracks.
