@Slaves On Dope thank you for saving rap metal
Done. ...but can you bring it to Spotify too, please? :)
@@DrLuke49 Public Enemy did that
@@Defenseman61913 ya think?
I'm a metalhead that thinks there needs to be way more collabs between rap and metal in the world. This was dope AF.
Same bro. I love both genres and Slayer and Public Enemy are amazing. Have you ever listened to the Judgement Night Soundtrack? The whole album is Metal and Hip hop.
@@derp9193 best original soundtrack imo
Yeah, the 90s were great, there was happening a lot of this soundwise
As a fan of both genres I wholeheartedly agree.
Absolutely agree
SA killing VOCALS!!!!
This is a godamned musical Turducken. ✊😤🤘
Billy Gould’s revenge
Best thing I've heard for a long time
The 46 year old me wish the 16 year old me could see this video!
That's hilarious
lol....
"Billy Gould's foot" Faith No More lmao
That little touch is probably the best part of this collaborative effort.
I rewatch this at least once a week. It's one of my favorite things, ever.
Same here.

Damn, like an all-star group of legends doing a cover of an OG legend's legendary song.
I Somehow Pictured Undertaker Coming Out To This In 1994
The guitar riff is from the song "Angel of death "by the band "Slayer" from the album "Reign in blood" released in 1986.
Nothing better than watching Mike and Billy rocking out! I want more!
Hands down one of my favorite rhythm sections of all time.
I think of Anne's song.. Hey Mikey. Hey billy. So sick!
Having Derrick Green and SA Martinez on a song together was unexpected but incredible, this was freaking awesome
Oddly SA Martinez Was An Great Fit For This
Who would have thought looping a Slayer riff from the Reign in blood album could sound so cool ! I think Angel of death is the song from the 1986 album.
Seeing Serch seals the deal for me... awesome.
Talk about a fucken All-Star lineup ! The dude from 3rd Bass and SA Martinez from 311??? Unreal!
mc search?
@@abbyboyone who ever posted this video has him as a Beastie Boy 🤷♂️🤷♀️🤷♂️🤷♀️
MC Search comin in HOT!!!!!
@@jimmieleepatterson they got it right. Serch is listed as 3rd Bass. Mixmaster Mike is the Beastie.
SA killed it!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
SA!!! SEN DOG!!! MC SEARCH!!! MIX MASTER MIKE!!!! BORDIN and BILLY + the Foot!!!
Daaaaaaaamn!!!!!
Members of 311, Mastodon, Faith No More, Cypress Hills, Sepultura, H20, 3rd Bass, Beastie Boys, Sales On Dope... All-Star LINE-UP! This song is fire! SA and MC Search killin it!
OMG, the legendary MC Serch !!!! Its MMM on the tables???
yup and yup!
Pop goes the Weasel...
@@rodturner6759 'Cause the weasel goes pop!
They are all legends but to see Serch out of nowhere was eye popping and appreciated. He the most in the pocket of all the vocals. Still got it
what no gas faee .. idk a little
anti climatic
Faith no More amd Mastodon. Great day
Plus Throw in some Cypress Hill, some 311, and Mix Master Mike... You are having an awesome day!
That's why I tuned in. Plus I used love Cypress as well.
Um... That was SWEET! I was like, "Who from 311? I must have missed- WHAT?!? SA!" Then Search? Like nonstop sparking of joy.
God damn that DJ made my day.
Bug out DUDES - all the time!
MMM makes everyone's day
Dude, it's all oft-repeated RUN-D.M.C. quote... Fo reals, how ppl not recognize?!
Cause no body can do it like Mix-Master can, come on!
@@konjura6484 He DOES have the D Double O D Double O style...
featuring the breakdown riff from Slayer's 'Angel of Death'
That's what Public Enemy sampled in the original.
@@Jayzon666 lol... i know... that was my point
@@lambgoat Oh, ok. I just assumed you didn't know. My first assumption on the internet is that everyone else is an idiot. :)
@@Jayzon666 safe assumption, for sure
@@Jayzon666 shitty assumption for sure buddy, who pissed in your coffee today???????
Instant classic - could add this as a bonus track to Judgment Night Soundtrack. Song was so ahead of it's time but what a collab. That riff 😇☠ and Billy and Puffy belting out the rhythm!!! 🤘❤💯
Slayer - Angel Of Death
you know this song is originally from 1988 right? All thanks to Rick Rubin... ua-cam.com/video/gtkQGG8vlPA/v-deo.html
@@Meni69 Word! ppl have wanted to argue wit me that its NOT that riff but c'mon man, CLEARLY it's Angel of Death. Thinkaboutitmaaaan... even ignoring your ears, just from a logical perspective: What do P.E. & Slayer have in common? Rick Rubin.
@@Defenseman61913 Ha! Just saw your comment after posting mine. P.E. was so far ahead we're barely catching up now. I was listening to the JB's Funky Stuff Vol 2 ua-cam.com/video/yC0hvvCEy74/v-deo.html and my mind was fkn blown because I recognized a song that is the background to a P.E. song at the beginning of Fear of a Black Planet, maybe 'Welcome to the Terrordome' but P.E. makes the music sound all futuristic & dissonant and I never realized the shrieking noises were the horns from James Brown's band... the futuristic keyboards too they were apparently doing in the 70's . P.E.'s sound is so dense & modern/futuristic I suppose I never recognized it. That speaks to how far ahead the JBs sound was too. Just MIND BLOWN!
We definitely need a j night 2021 record
Damn. The lineup on this cannot be topped. 2+ years later and I'm still coming back and putting this on repeat. My favorite P.E. song with the greatest metal riff of all time. (R.I.P. Jeff Hanneman) I hadn't listened to 3rd Bass or 311 in years but I had to dig them back up becasue everybody fucking crushed it on this.
SA MARTINEZ LADIES AND GENTS JESUS CHRIST
Goin so hard.. literally destroying planets out here .
SA was on fire!
My boy channeled the spirit of '95 right there! My man!
@@kind2311 he goes SO hard
TEAM SA FOREVER!
SA and Serch, yes! Well done again gentlemen.
This gives me an ear to ear grin. There is no weak link here. Amazing.
SA be spittin' fire... First time in a long while Tropical Storm SA didn't leave a stage drenched 🔥🌊♨️🕉️
Without out a doubt, one of the best covers of all time!
Jesus Christ, this is great
Holy shit, that was fucking awesome!
I'm going back in for more...
I can't stop listening to this.
Same here
I'm still visiting this every day!
FNM, Mastodon, 311, Sepultura, Cypress Hill, Beastie Boys, Slaves on Dope... sorry, I don't even know who all the other people are, but fucking hell, it doesn't get any more dope than this, does it? I don't even listen to this type of music normally, but I've now listened to this three times back to back.
Its gotta be the Slayer riff,I used to piss off my step mom listning to Public Enemy.
The fckng bad ass track.
SA really kicks tha shit.
He really does. I love hearing him over more heavy stuff. Fits perfectly
I think SA does better with metal versus the ska/reggae 311 did back in the 90s
SA could bring back these vocals to 311
Hardest thing he's done since 1997
@@Spthomas47 LMAO!
Christ almighty SA’s verse fuckin’ slays.
311's recent Facebook post brought me here. I've never been thankful for a Facebook suggestion till now.
Straight🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Badass! Never thought I'd see Billy and Mike from FNM, Sen Dog, and SA Martinez on the same track, all these guys kick ass
Serch is perfect on this track.
The guy from 311 has a great voice!
And the lyrics are more relevant than ever.
Holy....are they ever!!
How far ahead of the game was P.E. to write that shit 30+ yrs ago?!?!? Woke before the rest of us knew we was sleepin on duty!
Oh heck yeah. This could have been written after the big scourge of reality tv and be just as relevant
As those who play wear masks they heard on Channel Zero will protect them
@@DCFixxer read a book or something
Mix Master Mike and S.A. Martinez, dream collaboration for me🤘🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thats soooo great!.
Back in 1993, Judgement Night.
Thank you Billys foot.
Waiting for Faith no More in Berlin, mainland Europe so much.
This is one of the best things I’ve ever seen. It’s takeyme this long to comment as I was totally blown away! Soooooo much Goodness here. This was one of my faves as a teenager, it Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold us Back, was my first ever Cd. To see and hear this is actually phenomenal.
BOOM!
Hearing SA Martinez' voice makes me happy.
And that Hi-Hat work is ace!
This is literally my favorite song, and I can't comprehend something like this was made over a song that barely anyone knows, but is THE best song ever. Love the internet sometimes.
Great cover! Always loved the original. Probably the most underrated PE track of all time. It’s incredible on what they were doing back in the late 80’s! Raps heyday was 88-92. Fast beats with powerful messages.
Chuck D .....Legend Rapper ...voice is like he is Preaching lyrics ...Power
mad respect to all involved! special shout out to 3rd Bass & the Cypress Hill Tribe!!
Faith No More
This is fantastic... MC Search coming out of nowhere!
I cannot believe you guys cold pulled off this song from one of the most iconic albums ever. Just brilliant. Props to this all-star crew.
Toby doing Flava’s parts is amazing!
Sea
MC Serch 🔥
What a great tribute and cover!
This is phenomenal! 311 is what brought me here, what a collaboration. Cheers to everyone involved!
The admiration per square inch is high. How about a tour with this lineup? Naw, worth a shot. Excellent work gentlemen.
They're the kings of quarantine. There's no tours on quarantine... unfortunately
That fucking roster holly shit.. and the cherry on top FNM!!! ♥️
Ran across this and I now have it on repeat. Masters being put together and everyone doing their thing! I have done sent this to my 4 kids, my friends, grandsons and even my mom. Wish colabs happened more often and are as excellent as this. Superb job!
Sent $5 for them roadies. Can’t wait for 2021-2022 live shows. Much love
The Public Enemy online Museum approves this!
Just shows that Slayer.......goes with everything 🤘🤘
Got to see them 8 times before retirement and enjoyed every single show.......took my handicapped friend to one he sat in the front row screaming and throwing 🤘 the whole time!!
One of the greatest quarantine covers to date, straight fire! Respect
When legends come together to play a legends song.........yessss please!
Not a massive Slayer fan, but this sample is just absolutely awesome, and Mikes drums are on point!
The camera by Billy Gould's shoes really brings this video togetha!
Dat foot. 2021 some things still the same as they ever were.
It’s almost that Serch is behind the beat slighty, with “gas face” implied with every syllable and then at the moment of truth, nails it with emphasis. Brilliant guys.
I always loved Robs voice in 311 and I love it here
Ok this line up needs to hit the road in 2022 and do nothing but classic bangers
I’d pay good money to see that! 🤘
I want that riff on a loop in my head forever
thank god for slayer, thank god for terminator x
M.r, Derrick Green, sepultura 👌👌👌👌👌
I am 47 and jeez I didn't ever think someone would remake this. My favorite from PE I had it one cassette yo
MC Serch goes hard. Love the way his cadence slightly hangs behind the beat x
Amazing cover. It's a hard rift to keep going, just look at Kevin 's face and he is an expert. Faith No More were heroes of mine when I was younger and it was nice to see Billy play bass as he was robbed in We Care A Lot.
to see billy puck and bill kelli all in one vid FNM is on of my top 3 all time, Bowie #1 by far so I have my tastes, FNM Beck RadioHead Deftones Mastadon PE B Boys Clutch, my realm.
Wow, I got chills. And they're multiplying!!!
are you losing control?
@@Hellwyck cause the power they're supplying. It's electrifying!!!!!
Better shape up
DAMN, the song I never knew i NEEDED. omg instant repeat
Dang! Billy Gould's foot Killing it!!! 🙌
It's like they read my mind and put all my favorite bands in to cover one of my favorite bands. I am all in to support this cause.
Word! Just this weekend someone irrelevant was telling me how P.E. was old, irrelevant, out-dated 80's stuff. I was like 'Wot?!?! Fck that!' Then this drops. Glad to know I'm not alone...
Best cover ever love it!
Wow, thank you!
Still one of the best videos of the past five years
It's FKN AMAZING how they dropped this RIGHT WHEN I NEEDED IT but had NO WAY of knowing there was even the most remote possibility in the universe that it could or would happen... I've been listening to a lot of P.E. & P-Funk to stay the least bit sane... The good vibes, nuthin but a party y'all feelinof P-Funk and the relentless, dystopian truth of the P.E., yin & yang y'know... But I've listened to she watch channel zero over & over & over almost obsessively. Then this hits!!! FUUUUUUCCCCKKK! Now I know no matter how alone in the universe I feel sometimes, there's an army of like-minded deviants right there wit me! For those about to rock we salute you!!
They absolutely smash this song.
Good Lord!
311, Faith No More, Mastadon, Sep, damn great work guys! Keep on Rockin!!
HOLY FUK, I DIDN'T KNOW THIS HAPPENED.
Beyond awsome, love the triad of metal, rap & DJ skills. Funny song, because you REALLY got to know the people you shared a place with during the pandemic. I'm going to buy this. Enough said.
Kick ass song, kick ass collab. Need more collabs like this
Daaaaaaaaaaaaaamn! That kicks serious butt.
The best collab in ages, big thanks!
