I’ve seen the Rev 13 times…Gots to love some Rev…And Boston, yo see them in Boston would be hilarious…Consequently I’ve seen the Mighty Mighty Bosstones in Texas…Ya gotta love music…Shit bridges the gaps…BTDubs…I LOVE Slaine in La Coka Nostra…How did that fat fuck get so lucky? JK…I loved me a round boy too, nothing wrong with that…So I’ll tell ya this much, I’ve got 99 bottles and they ain’t problems or bitches!!! I loved your comment fool!!!-Yours, Kitty
Great story from the last time Supersuckers toured Australia. One of their gigs in Melbourne, the crowd drank the venue out of beer! Not just one type of beer, ALL the beer they had in the place!!!
+robert desalvio I feel ya man but there is no tangible way to measure such things. It is a classic now though, great tune. I saw them play around 2003 to 2005? They split the song into two parts, kind of worked it out where it just came out of the song before. I was drunk but I do recall how cool that was. Although after meeting Eddie I take the "aint nothing down there that scares me". I'd imagine the hell he describes would scare every single person, ie. Dante! that stuff. thanks for reading my ramblings
I saw them in the early 90's when they came to Adelaide. Totally awesome live show. They threw guitars at each other & cought it & played & passed it back threw the air.
In my book, you have to kill part of your soul and water down your shit enough that the mainstream en masse will swallow it which is exactly why you will never hear them in some popular music platform. These guys serve up the crack of Rock and Roll, too strong for most the mainstream idiots out there. I don't think any of us would have it any other way. Rock On, SS!
los superchupadores vuelven por España y pasan por Asturias hay que ver en que forma están . este video refleja lo que son roclroll carretera y tias buena combinacion
They opened for White Zombie in Flint Michigan where they were booed relentlessly. The drummer threw a bottle into the crowd and security carried them off the stage while they were fighting back. Never saw anything like that before. Guess Supersuckers and White Zombie were not a good match!
I've been playing (6 strings) for 25 years and I can't read music.... I've never taken more pride in failing a class than I did when I failed music theory. Most great musicians I know don't read music. '78 Les Paul 25/50, D'Addario Half Rounds, Marshall Mosfet 5213, Sitori Sonics Doob Dreamer. I'm not sure there IS a "best" bassist, but I love Geezer Butler, John Entwistle, Pete Donnelly, Steve Youth and Mike Watt, to name a few.
Satan, Sex, and Drugs isn't this what Rock N Roll is all about? Wow if any band needed a reunion more(besides the Libertines)it's this band hell yeah!!!!
@Boggs420247 I'm sorry for correcting you. :) It's just that you said "enteral". I'm sure that was just a typo, but "enteral" means "Within or by way of the intestine". But then, being within the intestine would be a kind of hell... :)
I saw this tour in a small club in Boston. The Supersuckers, Horton Heat, headlined by Social D. one of the greatest top to bottom shows EVER.
khthewld holy shit. Must've been 🔥
@@lux_satani Nice, what year was that?
I bet🎶

20 years later and it STILL feels SOOOOOO GOOD! 😉
Timeless, my friend. World Class band.
23 years later. Can cofirm.
Great story from the last time Supersuckers toured Australia.

I cannot believe that anything like that could ever happen in Australia. :)
this is the greatest rock n roll song ever recorded.
+jerry Rigg I wouldn't go THAT far dude. Seriously.
+robert desalvio well... I certainly do like it a lot.

+Darren Chapman meant take it as artistic expression
+Darren Chapman sure why not
26 years on and this song still rocks solid. Don’t make em like they used to.
And they NEVER WILL make ‘em like they used to…Positive Vibes, KMK
This band is so good that albums don't get old!!!!!
Love and respect for all of them.
We gonna miss Ron for sure.
I'm only 14 but I own every single album from the supersuckers and eddie spaghettis albums. I loooove these guys!
This comment made me smile. I'm curious, are you still a fan at 26?

Eddie Spaghetti is on the level of great songwriters of our time: Cohen, Strummer, Richey Edwards, Tim Armstrong & Lemmy
Whenever I feel like, I can't keep going I play this bad boy.
I saw them in the early 90's when they came to Adelaide. Totally awesome live show. They threw guitars at each other & cought it & played & passed it back threw the air.
Here watching this vid on December 27, 2024 and the video has 666K views! Rock on! This song is still so much devilish fun nearly 30 years later.
Partied with these guys after a show in Dallas....they rock. And Eddie S. Really nice!

This song is just so awesome it deserves so many more views.
Maybe best show I’ve ever seen, Murder City Devils as opener! And of course a lot of early Poison Idea shows!
Always a fun listen. It was a go to song in New Orleans after hurricane Katrina. No reason for its popularity, it just made us feel good.
Seen them open for the Dwarves ,SS just came out with their first album @ Lounge Axe in Chicago epic show 91 I think
los superchupadores vuelven por España y pasan por Asturias hay que ver en que forma están . este video refleja lo que son roclroll carretera y tias buena combinacion
You won't find many who execute rock any "better" than these guys. Every album is 10/10
Correct. They’re all about what rock music should be. Too many morose fuckers out there...

One of the baddest, greatest, coolest songs of all time.
Greatest lyric-osity-ness ever:
It's time to fly the finger
Yeah, that middle digit brings your point
And it drives it home
I know that's Linda Blair at the end... but ...is that... Marilyn Chambers at 2:02 ????
