Note that the blue lights and breaker trip event is not connected to the rifle, but it merely happened at the same time I got back to base, this is an event that usually happens on day 18 or so, and the mannequins being placed around are also coincidentally at the same time. The rifle however, it triggers something that was once sleeping.

I had a mannequin standing in the hallway doorway when I came back right before this event I repurposed the blue lights so my base always has some light
I always thought the gun would just constantly be jammed so that any poor soul who decides to use it to go head to head with the antibreather would have a heart attack
I see a few odd comments saying otherwise
But the blue lights event always trips your breakers, its not two separate events just one.
Also the mannequins are haunted, its not the arirals.

So many things are going on at the same time in this video it's like you got struck by lightning lmao
You pick up the gun before your very first breaker failure on the save (since the lights inside the server room under the dish are only lit up until the first power surge afaik)
You get said power surge right when you get back home
You get the blue light event
You get the mannequins event (forgot if the cup pile is part of it or a different event though)
The power surge and blue lights are the same thing. It's another prank event. The Arirals flip the breakers and then light up your base to freak you out. Despite being unique alien glowsticks essentially, they are very fragile and don't stick to anything like Earth glowsticks. However, I think they're way brighter than normal glowsticks so keeping them (and nailing them down in case of other events) could be pretty useful
@@forehand101 still, the blue light doesn't always happen during the first power surge. At least from what I remember (haven't played in a long while unfortunately)
@@lekrashar It all depends, it wasn't my first blackout ever, but it has been on another playthrough. I think if you maintain your transformers, avoid certain signals, and have a little luck then the glowstick prank can probably be consistently one of your firsts. That's why I love this game, anything can happen at any time excluding some more scripted story things
I've decided to retitle the video as the power surge has more screen time and the original makes the rifle seem connected to the event.

Hey, this isnt really related to the events showed in the video, but theres this one event where a treehouse-esque thing spawns in the forest between Papa and Victor, which can be seen from far away due to smoke going into the air from a fireplace, I havent seen anything about this and wanted to know if im going insane or not lol. From what ive seen it spawns beanbags, a weird cooker thing, phones that zap you when you interact with them, and two large spaceship-esque triangle shapes that look similar to the spaceship you can get during an unknown signal or the one that flies and spams your email. Another weird thing is whenever i bring any of the items back to my base, it teleports back to the treehouse. Wanting to know of anybody has seen this before.
It is something you can run across, and funnily enough you can see the treehouse slowly getting built as you pass by every day. If the aliens have found us, then they seem to have their own tech and grasp very advanced concepts. At least these ones seem to be passive but also very curious about us. From what I've experienced, they exhibit a playful nature towards the protagonist not too dissimilar from something like a gnome causing mischief. It still can get scary though when they show a picture of your base through the signal.
If you steal something from their camp, they will come after you, knock you over, and steal it back. I've heard if you do it repeatedly, they get a bit more aggressive
@@ebnertra0004 Did that the first time and started panicking when all my chicken burgers started flying at me. The dev could've made that event scary but instead its a group of invisible dudes yeeting stuff at you and beating you up.
@@thevoicesnetwork there's a bunch of different kinds of aliens in voices of the void, the one you're talking about is the arirals. the arirals are extremely advanced but they act way more casual than how most aliens are portrayed, i'm guessing that they just like humanity and the culture so they hang around in some places. the way they interact with dr. kel comes off more as them wanting to play pranks on you than actually interacting with you, like how sometimes they break into your base with cloaking devices on so they can push you over and run away
also, when they send you a photo of your base, the text next to it says "ack ack ack", which is literally just their way of saying lmao
I didn't know you can pick up the gun. It instantly explodes for me most of the time.
my game once lagged when I picked up the gun and it instantly combusted into pieces of wood

That's a bug with the pallets, if you walk over them they can do that to you.

@@fentfantatic1999 Yeah there was a minor red glow when it happened. There's a... thing.. in the game that glows red.
I know. scared me good, I accidentally hit the ragdoll button
@@fluffthecat2438 he had player damage enabled, when you get hurt with it enabled theres a red glow on your screen, when he stepped on the palette he hit the ragdoll button which probably caused him to get hurt, that or the palette physics hurt him
Wth bro fr got 3 events at once, while I played for 21 days and got 2 events.
can you do a video explaining what are the "4 entities" we see on the radar? I tried searching for them but found nothing, maybe the laptop counts as an entity? I know the ATV does but what else would count as that.. the keypads?
I think the console is one of them but I have no idea what the southwest one is.
there is one for the atv, dr kel (the player) and one for the big dome on top of your base

Is there two blackout events in this game? I had one blackout where none of the glowsticks spawned which was a bit sad since I wanted to use them to make the base creepy : (
The glowsticks are a different event.
Oh so is the rifle tied to the "pinecone" event or is it a different one?

My power also went out, but I can’t turn it back on like you did on the panel. There is also a power house outside with one of the 3 lights turned red. What do I do? Also it’s night time 🙈
I don't get it. I don't think the gun has anything to so with any events that happen in the video.
It's more about the gun being there as a security blanket when things go wrong and paranoia sets in. That, and it failing on you when it's needed. Do you think I should change the title and thumbnail?
@@thevoicesnetwork Nah, the title is fine, I understand what you're going for now. It's interesting that the gun doesn't do anything, and that it's mere presence is a placebo effect.

does this game have an actual alien event? I know there is that amalgamation monsters that emits light, the invisible ariral guy, the sleep demon, and the bathroom demon, but none of those are aliens. I know there are UFO/UAP events, but can we see actual live aliens in the normal game? (the cardboard cutout and the gray april fools version doesn't count)
the arirals ARE the aliens, though as of 0.6.0, there has been something new added, that doesn't seem very paranormal but more extraterrestrial.

on day 40 something there's a robot alien thing cleaning your ATV, there's the wisps which are kinda like aliens, and the pyramid literally comes from space

if i found that rifle i would be like...
check to see if it's loaded
check for barrel obstructions
check what caliber it is.
look for a safe place to store that sucker
and probably not use it

how do you explain to the other scientists that you need more rifle ammo...
it's not as if you can show them footage of aliens and be like can you send me more ammo please i'm facing The Predator and i only have a fricking crowbar/hammer/shovel/rock
please it would really help calm my nerves if i was better armed
maybe mention to them that you have seen a few "bears" and send them a photo of that cave with a bunch of bones strewn all around with human skulls clearly in frame
being like...
i need a gun because that is either a bear or i just found the lair of a man-eating cryptid and i am freaking out
