This four year old aircraft does show its age with the patch work paint of its starboard wing. Most important is that it is well maintained like the rest of the fleet.
Very good flight review - I flew the 78X from Perth to Singapore. The in flight entertainment was excellent - they have the live TV (where you can watch live sport and live news) as well you can view the guide to arrival. The in flight map was very good - you can view it from other angles.
This bring me memories in flight from Los Angeles to Tokyo in Airbus A380. How gigatic! Later the Singapore replace to Boing 777-300. Still gigatic, but no so impressive. That´s a pity!
Yes the superjumbo A380! Few years ago I flew Qantas A380 in economy upper deck. It was brilliant because of the smaller economy cabin so it was pretty much premium service for all 😀
Love it! Recently I flew Singapore Airlines as well. While their crew was super friendly as always... the quality of their 'world class' service is no more what it used to be.. definitely have to agree with you at @15:37 .. they used to be so much more caring and attentive to the individual passenger.. and now they don't seem to have the time, or don't really care as much. I still love them because compared to other airlines, they're great.. but just not how they used to be. Their food sucked big time (I'm a vegan), and on my return flight I barely ate anything they served other than dry snacks.. and so I wrote to them afterwards to tell them about it; they're looking into better food options for vegans.. but they made some 'excuses' as well.. which I didn't expect from a world class airlines. I've learned though that the next time I fly with them.. I'll need to buy food at the airport or do meal prep. QUESTION FOR YOU: @12:00 the video goes blue.. why do you suppose that part of the footage has a blue tint? Reason I ask is that while taking videos in the plane and outside I also noticed a blue tint in my videos.. I'm guessing I can edit that to expose more natural colors. Your thoughts?
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Yes, Singapore airlines is somewhat stuck at the phase of "great but not that great anymore". Guess it can be blamed on the pandemic so we'll see how they recover. As for vegan options, maybe look out for their special meal requests next time you book. Still, not sure about the quality though 😁 I'm not quite sure about the blue tint you're referring to at 18:12 as that's our closing screen. Most of this video was filmed using GoPro so it may not have worked so well indoors - lesson learned 😆

Similar footage I was recording of clouds and then inside of the plane produced the same color - blue tint.
There are heaps of comments on meals in premium are the same as economy, but better than business class!!! That's unheard of!! Tell me at least they served it to you with a smile and you thoroughly enjoyed the seat. 😁

Hello thank you for the video. Would like to know does SQ622 provide 2 meals (lunch&dinner) or only 1 meal(lunch)?
It was 1 meal only but snacks available on request throughout the flight.

how about the net speed and quota? is it fast enough? if purchase for the whole flight if there is a limited quota?
That's a hard one and I don't have the answer for you. I'd say it's good enough for messaging or emails and that's about it. 🤷
