Gangs of wasseypur was a very violent film infact in the end Nawaz keeps shooting at Ramadhir Sing even if he is dead but none of the violence is glorified or justified. Infact the movie ends with a rebounding resolution that violence only leads to more violence. If the characters are not held accountable for their actions in some way there is no resolution to their arc .
😂😂 sandeep vamga commented that these reviewers should sent to china because they can teach English to chinese. Thats all they offer 😂😂😂..... But, please dont go to china because we Indians from tier-2 and tier-3 cities also can benefit from reviews like this and learn few english words and Verbose presentation and can give an intellectual outlook . 😂😂
Sucharita has really evolved after all these years of dealing with movies related to sexism, now she uses precise words to describe exactly what the problem is
True what you said, but don't rely on her review she really did not understand the movie after watching movie you will not feel anything she said in her review.
Even SRK in Don and Don 2 had a happy ending where he says his dialogue, "Don ko pakar na mushkil nahi namumkin hai". Does that mean the movie is glorifying theft?
5 years ago Anupama interviewed Ranbir on Film Companion which is still available on UA-cam. It's a 32 minute interview. This is the last 10 minutes of that conversation. Anupama: You are doing a film with luv Ranjan whose films are steeped in misogyny. Ranbir : ...yaa but I was not part of those films. I'm quite conscious of the kind of parts I do and if it's a part which belittles society or is unfair to someone, I wouldn't do it because to understand the position I'm in I have to be conscious, I've to be aware. I have to represent a certain value system that I want to express. Later he says, ( in context with misogyny ) …You know certain things you have to be aware of like who you are as a person . What are your ideologies? What do you stand for? Because film is a true representation also about you as an artist you have to be aware of what you are standing up for. Your films have to kind of reflect that. Certain things I probably believed that are instilled in my value system that I wouldn't do. Cut to the present day 😁
Such a well-caught example of hypocrisy. If only "commercial actors" were conscious enough of the impact of such ideologies on the big screen and didn't associate with these projects, what big difference would that make to keep such movies away from the large-scale audience.
Watch it as a movie not as a fucking social message film holy. The first half is enjoyable and the second half is a slog. But idk why u guys can’t watch a movie as a movie, bad or good in terms of quality is different, but judging a film based on messaging when its point is not to send a message is just wrong. This film has misogyny but that’s the character and how he is written, it doesn’t make others involved misogynists.
@@shawnthomas6492brother. The good times of 70s 80s 90s and early 00s are gone when we watched movies just to pass time and for entertainment. Nowadays you can't do that. Everything and everyone needs to be politically correct and virtue signalling and a feminist and a woke or else you'll be cancelled.
@@shawnthomas6492The original comment is about the lead actor talking about his own ideas and his ideology, that was what was presented and how it contradicts the actor’s current action of choosing to do this movie. Nothing to do with people, why are you telling people to enjoy the movie as entertainment when the artists and creators themselves are trying to assign meaning to their work? That was what was presented in the original comment, the artist’s thoughts which he shared.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga is so hell bent on proving he doesn't care about critics, he made sure they hate his film and in that attempt ended up getting controlled by them anyway. Some of the cringier "problematic"(stupid) dialogues weren't even required, they seem forcefully inserted
For someone who craved that love from his father, I was surprised at how LITTLE he spent time with his own son?! Wish the film had dived deeper into the Anil/Ranbir father son dynamic instead of focussing on protection & revenge. I went in thinking I'd hate the movie, as I struggled with Arjun Reddy (took a month to finish it) & refused to see Kabir Singh. The screenplay was, at times, incoherent. The scene where he's suddenly in his beard, as he goes to his brother in law, seemed so outa place to start with. But, I have to say, I cant recall the last time Ranbir, the actor, shone like this. Yes, the character isn't someone I agree with, but as someone who really likes the actor, he had alota moments in which he left such an impact! Rashmika, too, gave a damn good performance, she was bloody impressive in that karwa chauth scene. I'm not the target audience for this movie, but truthfully didn't mind it. Are there issues with the representation of masculinity, entitlement & character arc?? Yup. So whilst I enjoyed Ranbir, I wasn't rooting for his character. The movie is definitely stylish, and judging by the audience reponse in my screen, will appeal to many - and maybe that in itself will create an opportunity for people to discuss issues of such character traits in people they idiolise onscreen 👍🏼 Still, loved your analysis, though 🙌🏼
The problem isn't that. The problem is this seems the output of a shockingly immature mind - a man child who never grew up. And is fascinated by power, control, dominance, chaddi jokes, dick jokes and cringe dialogbazi. Also there is a psychotic fascination with anger as some sort of virtue. It will appeal to the public because this has always been the maturity level of the Indian public. Quite sad really. I believe what YOU liked were the action bits, the aesthetics, the acting and the style & glamor. That's fine. Also great how you don't approve of the problematic aspects (but this isn't even about that, even if you ignore all that, as Suchita refused to get into the misogyny argument 4:56) - this movie isnt art, is glaringly dumb, vacuous and silly (immature). That is the problem.
Finally got to see some sane comments after a lot of glorification! Ranbir Kapoor's acting is marvellous but the character is beyond redemption. No matter how much a person has been neglected by one's parents but that will mot justify his narcissistic, obsessive behaviour and treatment of women as objects! Had the father son dynamic been more detailed just maybe the reaosnable half of Indian audiennce would have pittied Ranvijay Singh!
it won't create a oppurtunity for people to critically Analyse the character, as we have seen before. he will be idolised as the case with Kabir Singh. The problem is not decpiction of sensitive topics and issues. the problem is that it should be handled in a mature and sensitive way. This movie moral compass is in itself broken so handling the topic carefully is too much to ask.
We grow up from our experiences and events in our childhood, that's called trauma That's the irony he`s eventually becoming a animal who's only on hunt. And he doesn't know to love his child as he didn't see any love from his father.
I don’t think that if a son is neglected by his father but still loves him will spend more time loving his own son and not keep looking for his father’s love. The movie showcased perfectly that his disease of a love for his father has ruined all of his relationships, and how resorting to violence also ruined it. It’s a non linear narrative but was coherent. It wasn’t like Japan where it was linear but felt disjointed as hell
I must say , well done Sucharita. You very calmly, segued the discussion on techniques and didnt take the bait. I was waiting for your review , even though I have no intention of watching the movie.
Believe me I have a very complicated relationship with my father and really wanted to see what Vanga has to say with his film, I was excited . I watched the film today I’m feeling what Sucharita must have felt 4 years back watching Kabir Singh - disgusted.
@@kaps89that’s not how the world works idiot. Vanga has the freedom of speech and so do people who spent their money to watch his movies. What are you being so emotional about?
Subscribed after this review. Kudos to you for standing your ground and holding onto your sensibility instead of falling 'prey' to the overwhelming noise of irresponsibility disguised in the name of daringness.
She has consistently been straightforward about these matters and doesn't succumb to the pressure of pleasing the "angry internet horde." Her reviews are candid, and she fearlessly speaks the truth, even when the director himself resorts to personal attacks in response to her doing her job. She's commendable in this regard.
There is a difference between glorification and presentation Fight club, bojack horseman , Swiss army man etc show men’s plight This just glorifies men going bat shit and somehow we should be happy about it Sucharita thankyou for being strong and honest especially after the last Kabir sigh review
Actually, They were some time where some movies got hit and collection by giving critics reviews, but this "ANIMAL" movie breaking records in box office and getting more worst reviews by critics. I think those reviews are giving more positive vibes for Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Thank you and great review
India is going through a cultural upheaval it seems with women not afraid or perhaps less afraid to use their voice against the traditional ways that they are being held back and the same traditions that they were forced to uphold. This movie is a reflection of the frustrations of the average basic man who feels his privilege is being pulled out from under him, who whilst not having any or at most very little power in society as a whole, could at least count on his manhood to give him default authority over any women. But life and progress will march on, these type of men will have nothing more than these types of movies to hold on to to assert their masculinity
I did watch this purely for the shock value and the main actors' character portrayal. Bobby deol was phenomenal in the limited screentime he got! This film has nothing else to offer and anybody who thinks this is a cinematic masterpiece needs a psych reval😂
Dude. I have never been so angry at a film. For some reason, I thought this would be a deep dive into human psyche. What I got was a 19 years old's understanding of well, everything.
It is very much a deep dive in the psyche of a human society lived way before civilization happened... surely a man of today who has all the comforts that technology can provide and law and order that can protect him and his family from harm wont be able to relate with what the film is trying to say
Finally one review that brought out all the aspects worth pointing out instead of just hailimg the movie for the gore or screenplay which i fail to understand even existed. Outstanding job Sucharita!!!!
Another conversation that we need is why supposedly "brilliant" actors choose such characters and films in the name of cinematic vision. Leave Ranbir and Anil, Tripti Dimri, who delivered Bulbbul, is a part of that film. Vanga's Tarantino fetishim is palpable and we can wait another 50 years for him to admit like Karan Johar that the politics of Kuch Kuch Hota Hain is flawed. But if actors' drive for movies is only "to show range" and "make hits" who openly claim "I don't care about critiques, only box office", how does that represent an industry at the global platform?
Moral values, chocolaty character wale movies dekhna hai toh Sooraj Barjatye ki movies dekhle...Keep cinemas to cinemas....If you want to learn from the movies itself, i feel sorry for u
I dont think these actors really care about anything but box office and those who does are usually not "stars". Sad part is that these actors dont understand how their actions impact societies.
Sadly, even after giving one after another great performances Tripti Dimri still didn’t get her fair share of recognition. I will never blame the actors as they are doing their jobs. The only thing that pisses me is when these actors start defending the characters they played like Shahid did with Kabir Singh.
Totally surprised by how calm you were during the review, would have expected you to be furious over such a film. But I suppose you were prepared, just like all of us 😂

There are some critics, I trust. I was never going to watch Animal because I disgaree with everything the director stands for. But I feel validated and glad that the you and some other critics I like also disliked it. Also, I think I have now finally given up on Ranbir Kapoor. The director made the movie for the critics who hated Kabir singh, I think you should feel happy, validated and flattered. LAGE RAHO SUCHARITA HUM TUMHARE SAATH HAIN❤
but SRV doesn't give a fuck , will these 3 or 4 reviews halt the box office ? No. , will these reviews stop him making ANIMAL PARK ? No. ... so keep chanting the Slogan 😂 .. 116
I bet you like soy boy Ranveer Singh. Even if film is problematic you can’t fault Ranbir Kapoor, he is committed to his craft and his acting in this film is top notch. You can’t have double standards where you rave about Sardar Khan and Faisal Khan in GOW but feel this is mindless misogynistic violence.
What about ..music of the movie? Cinematography... jump cuts that are edited.. production design.. background score... main character is pshycopath that we already knew from trailer.. nothing in the review mentioned these exhibits..
Commenting before watching a 12 min video, I know that Suchi taai is going to crack me up more than the movie has the potential to make me feel any emotion whatsoever.
Those without any emotional connection to this movie likely share the same sentiment. I believe that even reviewers who praise it may grasp the point but choose to align with the majority to garner attention from the "angry internet mob." Credit to them for speaking honestly and resisting the trend.
They could have explored the swastik steel factory, the dispute between brothers, why the stakes are so high? The planning involved in killing his father. But instead they decided to talk about pubic hair, rash, sex life, nude walking, slapping, the bra pulling. Arre yaar. Koi conflict hai hi nahi bhai
The sheer amount of love, attention and fame this film is getting is staggering, when alongside Animal there is Sam Bahadur in the box office, which really really shows some concrete acting prowess by the film's actors. Even my friends are dying to watch this film just because they want an adrenalin boost and a roller coster ride, alongside some whistle and catcalling in the movie theatre. A small request to bring the review of Sam bahadur as well. I, personally was really taken away by the trailer.
I watched both the movies yesterday. Talking about acting prowess, Ranbir has absolutely killed it. Way better than vicky in a lead role. In general also Animal's cast acting was better that Sam bahadur's cast. Not commenting on which movie is better or worse, that's a personal preference for everyone. But acting performance wise Animal clears. No two ways about it
Please read about Sam manekshaw and then watch the movie, it's a whitewash on what govt of that time did with manekshaw. Bollywood truly cannot make a movie without their whitewash and propaganda. Was very excited to see manekshaw on screen as trailer was so good, but the movie is disappointing on truth basis... Itna fake narrative to mat dikhao... Unke paise tak nai die kbi pension k unko govt ne, no one went to even his funeral... Its not good.
Yeah yeah..when you cry in joy after watching films like Veere di wedding or Thank you for coming. That's your stupid idea of feminism. Fcking terrible.
This was such a smart review from you because it's almost as if the director wants all the discussion to be around the blatant misogyny and atrocities against female characters so that the men can bash those comments and that's how he will get his fame. Instead, you focused on the storytelling, direction etc and those suck big time too! Well done, beautiful review 😊
People will call out toxicity in Animal but didn't have balls (literally) to call out the same in 'Thank you for coming' or to some extent in 'Rocky and Rani'
Those people who think animal is good best. I think their family are that type and their son also raise like that. That's I m told Animal is just fucking Indian youth mind. Those who have not mother,or family that person may be like this movie
True thank you for coming had so many sexist moments i watched last night their genuine body shaming, cheating involved but sobo's wont speak about it animal also is the worst humanity has to offer both are toxic
In a Hollywood film Joker, there is a moment where protagonist realises his mistakes and feels that he needs help but couldn't get it. But in the case of Animal, Vanga forgets to show the realization of protagonist and accepts his mental issues, rather shown Pride of Alpha man....

I wonder if there actually was a very decent movie in Animal but after the backlash SRV got for Kabir Singh, maybe that changed his mind and motivations with how he wants to portray everything in Animal. Even says it in the interview with Anupama ma'am of how he will show them violence.
But sucharita love glorified TOXIC FEMINITY FROM FOUR MORE SHOOTS, Lipstick Under My Burkha , Bombay Begums , Made in Heaven and thank you for coming etc. 🤣😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
By far the best and honest review! It seems all the other critics were paid for promoting the movie as they were singing praises after watching the trailer! Enough of this regressive cinema where ordinary men are portrayed as supernatural creatures!
Grateful to you Sucharita. FINALLY. ONE reviewer, you, very articulate, who is speaking about the vomit-inducing sick nature of this film. Men who stay adolescent , who never grow up. Thank you for this very good review. WHY? I ASK, do people make such movies? No responsibility?
I too was waiting for this review. Rightly said...you should also check out Anupama's review too! She is also among few who is able to see and openly say about the bullshit this film is!
Sucharita, I think this could have been a better film if he only learnt from his past mistakes. He had this amazing cast and Ranbir giving a stellar performance but the dude was more concerned about giving a “fitting” response to his critics than actually making a good film. I totally agree that the film feels choppy at various places. Initially I assumed that the film will portray an anti-hero and he will get away from anything that he does because he’s a bad guy. But…but…but…the film language very much wants us to sympathise with his actions because apparently what he does he does for his family. The constant p**** reference had me, it felt like a 12 year old pre-teen asserting his manliness. You are totally correct that the misogyny in the film is used as a bait to provoke feminists and to add more fuel to the toxic trolling culture. So I say, leave small battles for small people and let’s move on.
No it's actually a bait to provoke keyboard feminists, who really don't know what feminism is and who thinks veere di wedding and 4 more shorts is feminism...also he made this movie to earn heavily which he will do.... Also this is the movie which will prove to be a milestone for Ranbir career...and u guys will end up crying in comment section only
I, for one, agree with everything she says. But she talks about the moral responsibility of the movies i lost it. I mean, does she talk about the moral responsibility of movie makers when women in the movies are shown immorally and distasteful. When the movies and shows are responsible for spoiling entire generation of women into thinking their natural inclination is just to have sex as much as possible, drink, smoke, etc When men are written from women's perspective and lack depth and are shallow and most often then not are shown as predators. Men in such movies or shows have no complexities. But that is celebrated as women empowerment and complex female characters. Animal is a movie of complex male character and masculinity. Ranbir's character is troubled. Anyways, there is definitely scope of improvement in Vanga's writing, but it should be conveyed as such not attacked because you don't agree with the movie. Definitely, women in Vanga's can be more fleshed out.
Was eagerly waiting for your review Sucharita! And even though 100 and 1000s of troll armies are unleased upon you or other sane critics, just remember, a small number of "us" will also be there to always applause you and encourage you to be this brave! We will keep asking for accountability from these film makers!
Oh My God the entire movie went so much over her head, The Plot of the movie is about the constant love and approval Vijay needed from his father which he never got and all the violence is ignited for the sole reason of murder attempt on his dad one of the most powerful men in the country and the guy who helped for the assualt is none other than his brother in law with whom he already shares a troubled relationship. Not even once she talked about the father being attacked and his body double being killed violently and the reveal of brother in law connection right after that wouldn't make someone most violent they can be. Whenever you review a movie you have to talk about everything in it not just the parts you want to get your bites on, Harshvardhan did an extraordinary job scoring for the film he didn't deserve to get a one liner from reviewers afterr the end of their ranting. and all the songs by different artists fit perfectly into the films screenplay each deserves a mention atleast. The action choreography was good and not trying to over achieve or overdo Rashmika did a great job at the confrontation scene, I personally hating the protagonist choices at this point and wanted to rage it all out ehich was done very well by her, i was hooting for her like hell yeah but god forbid we appreciate the female lead in this movie we want to brand as misogynistic and father of all evil. The protagonist was not presented to be loved especially in the second half. The film is not perfect in a writing point of view but you never talked about the merits that could've been made in the screenplay. The film is strictly rated for adults who are supposed to be separate fiction from reality and art from the artist. If you are not one please stop watching movies rated for adults. The men you are complaining about enjoying this movie also enjoyed kill bill with a female lead and whoever may not watched it yet will definitely love it too. People bashing about responsibility of the film maker but what about the section of people who are praising your review and targetting the personal life Ranbir and Sandeep including their wives, are the not worse than the keyboard warriors you talked about at the end if not the same. Do you take responsibility on that madam ??
I'm a simple man and i thought that the job of film critic is to dissect the film and talk about every aspect of it and attach an opinion at the end of it ... Somehow I don't see that happening now a days and I'm glad you are calling it out man
@sucharitatyagi Honestly, That's just a point of view as humble a counter. lot of good characters are left unresolved and they and still very effective. This need of a necessary arc of change is not essential in storytelling. That's the anti-hero aspect of the human experience. Besides Animal is a downright satire on violence and on toxic personality of males and the insecurity associated with that. Not masculinity, which is so subtle throughout the film and can go easily unnoticed and below the nose "Animal Park Come...visit soon". And the filmmaker is making the perfect statement about this misguided perception of masculinity, its just that people have different sensitivities. He stood by his words when he said I will show them what a violent film really is. There was a time non linear story telling was almost crime to commit but then someone like a Sergio Leone or a George Lucas went and broke that regime. Animal is smart movie with all clues to obvious problems of society and men's personality and thinking not masculinity, "what are you essentially buying and selling?!" - as an open question to anyone. Of course its not a genre breaking film and a typical style of commercial dram on steroids. Nothing in it is that new but what it does with narrative is tips it on its head. I can sense the storytellers sipping on whisky just laughing at all the commotion when the message is so obvious, I wish Adipurush guys had brains like this. It's ANIMAL!! If it really was try hard garbage, then no one would care about it. Audiences are not that stupid. Watch Clock Work Orange for example, does Alex change? Or Fight Club? Dr Strangelove? Joker? aren't they....satires or violent with a lot of layering? You must listen to Chuck Palahnik talk about fight club and subverted storytelling. There's no requirement that the filmmaker has to take responsibility every time, especially when things are this obvious. he is given everyone an equal blast of a time. Imagine the amount of "how could you show that?!" moments to filmmakers, artists, Impressionists or storytellers across time. That's a Zero Sum Game!!
Lol , without seeing the movie, but having seen the Trailer, and hearing all the pre-hype and post hype.. I think this review is probably the best summation of the movie.
Perfect example of if you have a perspective regarding something you focus in that only & try to express in rage. This is the first time in a review of her i didn't saw a single section about "performances". Same thing that legend Pratik does also. But, Regardless what the movie is, you should cover the craft part, which is necessary!!!

Oh my god! Your review is here at last!!!!! I love your reviews. The mannerism and the critical eye. The number of times i refreshed youtube timeline to see your review. Its here at last!!!!!😊
What an absolutely articulate review! I think I sprained my neck because of how many times I nodded in agreement. When the first trailer came out, it felt to me that the filmmaker got high off of the Michael saving Vito at the hospital scene in The Godfather, but without really arriving at any sort of epiphany regarding the subtext of the film. Also, hats off to the camera work from 3:14-3:21 in your review. The zoom is so effective, that I think it’s better implemented than any of the other techniques that were used in the trailer of this damn film…
That's not camera work, that's keyframing done on editing software, if you had the prowess or any sort of legitimate tools of identifying filmmaking techniques you'd have a short film by your name but well, you probably are another consumer of the cine pill 🤣
@@fortphoenix I was like you bud, getting the kicks whenever I watched something fresh from the catalogue until I stopped consuming and tried creating, that's a different story nevertheless 😂 overconsumption of films have made me reach a plateau.
hey! I agree with your point about how difficult making a film is - I have a healthy respect for the various departments in film making (did costume and props for stage prods at school and dabbled around with photography/minor editing with short films at college). Knowing how difficult it is for a whole lot of things to coalesce into a miracle that is a film, I’ve a huge amount of respect for people who do this for a living. (I think my appreciation for the craft is wholly separate from how I evaluate films though.) Sorry about the burnout regarding film consumption- I’ve been there myself and what helped funnily enough, was consuming films from different genres and working on vfx. I hope you do get over your burnout and find more joy when it comes to working on your film projects.
There are indeed a lot of issues with the script if u start thinking logically…and yes in India if u are that rich you can definitely get away with murders unfortunately… but whatever I found the movie super entertaining as I’m a Ranbir fan . . Was completely blown away

I got cocky about the feminist movement in the last 10 years, clearly we aren't there yet. 😢 To be honest I did like the teaser and trailer in terms of building intrigue, but It's obvious that this film was going to be a lot like the last one. Sandeep is one defensive and stubborn man. Have you noticed that ranbir chooses films like animal and tu jhooti main makkar to be mainstream? He doesn't care to be a responsible actor, he probably even empathises with vanga and Ranjan as 2 misunderstood men in this woke world. They're 3 of a kind, I get why they collaborated. I would like to say that both luv and vanga do possess some storytelling talent, there's a reason the masses connect well with their films, I just wish they evolve so they can use their storytelling skills for good. The way I look at it, u can use your skills to pander and profit or to evolve the masses. Clearly they are only interested in the former. 😮

Later he says, ( in context with misogyny )
…You know certain things you have to be aware of like who you are as a person .

The movie is definitely stylish, and judging by the audience reponse in my screen, will appeal to many - and maybe that in itself will create an opportunity for people to discuss issues of such character traits in people they idiolise onscreen 👍🏼
Still, loved your analysis, though 🙌🏼
We grow up from our experiences and events in our childhood, that's called trauma
That's the irony he`s eventually becoming a animal who's only on hunt.
This movie was only made for Sucharita 😂😂😂
The amount of love this movie is getting is baffling to me, making me think what is going on in people's mind! 😅

May be similar to idiotic romance dramas where rich handsome guys run behind poor avg girls which loser women are handing hard to hold on to 😂

Western critics like rrr but I don't like garbage rrr because movie is subjective

Very well said!
Oh My God the entire movie went so much over her head,
The Plot of the movie is about the constant love and approval Vijay needed from his father which he never got and all the violence is ignited for the sole reason of murder attempt on his dad one of the most powerful men in the country and the guy who helped for the assualt is none other than his brother in law with whom he already shares a troubled relationship.
The action choreography was good and not trying to over achieve or overdo
Rashmika did a great job at the confrontation scene, I personally hating the protagonist choices at this point and wanted to rage it all out ehich was done very well by her, i was hooting for her like hell yeah but god forbid we appreciate the female lead in this movie we want to brand as misogynistic and father of all evil.
The sensible comment in whole comment section
I'm a simple man and i thought that the job of film critic is to dissect the film and talk about every aspect of it and attach an opinion at the end of it ... Somehow I don't see that happening now a days and I'm glad you are calling it out man
Your review was so much better entertaining than the movie !!! Apt and honest!!
gale pe koi chaku rakh dega toh didi or bulaogi ya animal jaise aadmi ko???
@@parmanbains3858woh chaku rakhne waala tu hi hoga shayad! Isi ka dar hain, dhyan rakhiyo, movie ko movie jaise dekh lena

@sucharitatyagi
Honestly, That's just a point of view as humble a counter. lot of good characters are left unresolved and they and still very effective.
I think this movie has come out of Sandeep Reddy Vanga after your Kabir singh review❤❤ Actually you are very powerful 😂
Oh Sucharita!
You have no clue how eagerly we were all waiting for your Animal review.
You didn't disappoint
what an Unfiltered honest review is this...? Hats off Sucharita to bring the bitter truth of this film.
finally someone said it, salute to you, loved this review.. showing such characters in movies is ok but dont potray them as hero.. show the consequences of it as well.
Did anywhere said Ranbir is Hero and Bobby as vilian.
Won't say much except, you NAILED it!!!!
@@okayaresd thank you. I learn something new everyday!
And kudos, you’ve categorized me correctly!
(I think my appreciation for the craft is wholly separate from how I evaluate films though.)
Sorry about the burnout regarding film consumption- I’ve been there myself and what helped funnily enough, was consuming films from different genres and working on vfx.
This I think is your best review ever!! How fascism has seeped into bollywood is utterly scary and you underline that even as you discuss craft, technique and everything else. There is so much you encompass in just 12 minutes! Salute!
keep crying in the name of fascism cause weak liberals like will not save nation or society but will cause only men vs women war and pedophelia
Will you say the same for Godfather ? People have liberty of filmmaking and you can't stop that.
Fascism my ass, no wonder Congress had become irralvent. You guys are disconnected from the reality.
Well when you try to shove communism or socialism down our throat eventually people will turn towards fascism .
@@deathadder4999Godfather doesn't show anyone as heroic, everyone does what they are supposed to do. There is no wadawowwow wadawowwow playing at people's wrong doings.

Your speech about abusive trolls!! 👏🏽 Thank you Sucharita! Admire and appreciate your courage ❤ 👑
Appreciate your honesty reviewing this movie mam Knowing some hate, negativity will come with this 🙏🏻👍
How it is even Justified??
The end of the flim clearly says that Violence can never bring peace!!
Ranbir couldn't hug his father even had to cry in other's lap...
Can't spend the rest of life with his father
His wife left him
His wife should have left at the moment when she found that he cheated on her
@@nayab6129 You guys just Don't understand the movie, India is not ready
THE ONE & ONLY Animal movie review on the entire UA-cam that one need to watch before or after (like me) watching the movie. PERIOD.
@sucharitatyagi No wonder why the number of views for this review isn't top of the list yet. After all, "quality" doesn't count as a parameter for UA-cam algorithms. 😜😂
P.S. This is my first ever comment for a video on UA-cam. I guess that itself is a testimony to the quality of your work. Oh yeah, for the context, I'm 34-year-old today and have been watching content on UA-cam as far as I can remember. 😏😎
May it be your last comment as well.
At the release time clearly mentioned that it is A certified
I think it's public choice what they want to see as entertainment not movie makers
ANIMAL & SAM Bahadur released same day.. One is violent & other is motivational yet Public splits in 90:10 for the same..
Sucharita i loved your review and agree completely. Can u please give a synopsis also in hindi since the masses of India esp males need to get this message straight...
That Tyagi girl!!
We missed you Sucharita mam!Your reviews are superb to say the least !We want to see more of you❤❤❤❤
I have waited for sucharita's review more than the film animal! 😊 love that you didn't pull any punches. U hold ur own sucharita, i know hate is often louder than love online so this is me telling u that i love u for what u do. U are a voice we need. Ur perspective matters. U represents so many of us women. While I may not agree with 100% of ur opinion, 9 do resonate with a solid 80 and there's just u and anupama man. Please please speak for us. I got cocky about the feminist movement in the last 10 years, clearly we aren't there yet. 😢
To be honest I did like the teaser and trailer in terms of building intrigue, but It's obvious that this film was going to be a lot like the last one.
Hello PETA! Sucharita ‘ANIMAL’ Abuse kar rahi hai 🥺🥺🥺🥺
If GONEGIRL is empowering
Animal IS...... ❤
Gone girl is bad and so is animal. No need to glorify physchopaths ... Male nd female both.
Your review to other youtuber reveiws shows me the difference between how a proper film critic bissects and puts the light on all movie aspects then vaguely giving plain reviews. I like the way you reviewed!
crictics bread and butter = criticize block buster movie.
