Never knew people thought anubias were bad for shrimps. Got a lot in my tank and both the plants and the shrimps are thriving ( still don't know how i managed to keep shrimps alive )
The temperature in your home is going to be the best way. If you need a cooler room try either getting a room AC or adjusting the AC vents in your home to redirect to the room that needs to be cooler.
Yes, a plant called Christmas Moss or people often say Xmas Moss has low lighting and this is very unique because it is located in Tropical Asia, apart from that, plants are highly recommended because of their beauty and clarity so that fish feel comfortable as their place to live.
I had some shrimp sneak into my 29-gallon betta sorority on some red root floaters and my wife convinced me to get a 5-gallon shrimp tank to keep them safe. I didn't have time to cycle the tank, but pulled heavy from plants in my 3 fish tanks. I got moved a moss bridge in hoping it have some good bacteria, some anacharis, vallisneria, hormwart, ludwegiaa crypt and a combo of duckweed and frogbit. While the aquasoil caused a 2-day spike to 2 ppm of both ammonia and nitrite, it quickly balanced and after 3 days ammonia was good and nitrites dropped to 0.2 ppm. Out of a total of about 10 shrimp, we lost only one and with all the vegetation I've yet to see any algae. I did accidentally introduce bladder snails and intentionally brought in an assassin snail. The water is clear and the plants are beautiful.
Aquasoils produce a lot of ammonia when first introduced and should be cycled first because of that. I would say that was the root of the idea in your case. Sorry to hear that all happened
It’s not. Deen the voiceover is a real person and Taylor the other narrator lives in New Mexico and is a preacher who helps me out. I just suck with narrating so they help me out. You can check the blog to see my credentials. I’m a real person and have worked on books about the hobby.

Bucephalandra is perfect for me

any moss which can survive above 32°c ?
anacharis is excellent for shrimp and very sturdy if you have snails
Thank you for the suggestion 😊
Hey man is reindeer moss, good for a shrimp tank?
It’s a terrestrial based “moss” (it’s actually a lichen) to my knowledge. I wouldn’t put it underwater.
@@AquariumStoreDepot ok thank you🙂
👍👍👍👍
Who ever calls Christmas moss “Xmas” moss is a psychopath
is this an ai generated channel?

@@AquariumStoreDepotvery well done , really helpful video.
Glad im not the only other one to think this
Its the comments for me… 😩 kinda look spammy. But thanks for the rundown.
Yes. No one would read X mass moss. And the comment above is a reply from AI
