  • An article is a word that defines a noun. Therefore, an article is technically an adjective. Without articles, we wouldn’t be able to refer to specific or particular nouns or to non-specific or non-particular nouns.
    This is because articles are defined as definite and indefinite. There are two articles: the definite article, A & AN and the definite article, THE.
    Examples are given and there is a quiz at the end.
