- I went solo on Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run at Walt Disney World in Disney's Hollywood Studios. This is my first time on Smuggler's Run, and I managed to destroy the Millennium Falcon at the end. It's cool to see the Millennium Falcon in disrepair at the end of the journey.

Me: *[stands in the middle and spams both triggers]*
Hondo: "No pilots and only one gunner??! Autopilot engaged!" I like that the ride can pilot itself when needed and they can set certain positions to automatic if the cockpit isn't full.
That’s very interesting.
Pretty sure the video plays out regardless, I'm sure things still happen even if you forget to operate a control. Everyone always gets to the end regardless

The ride looks so much smoother when there isn't people crashing into every possible thing.
When I went by myself the first time, I had two kids who couldn't pilot it well. Very rough. The next time I went I hired a crew in the Cantina and we did so much better.
@@jezzuz8595 I wish they still had what they had planned; If you damage the Falcon too much, they send bounty hunters out to find you in the park.
It’s very unique how he had damaged the ship and when ha walked through the falcon the lights and circuits were actually damaged, and the guides saying how he had done damage.
I was just there last month but unfortunately I couldn't ride this due to having disc disease and I was bummed but seeing it through your eyes made me feel like I did experience it after all. Thanks for posting.
Wow does the sky for Batu in the ride change based on the time of day? That's super cool and really immersive

Is this ride similar to FOP and Star Tours? I'm fine with those. We are going in a month and I'd love to ride it but get sick from spinning rides.
If you like those rides, then you'll like Smuggler's run. It's similar, just more interactive.
@@BestofOrlando does it have as much motion and that intense simulation of speed and g force? or is it tamer?
@@sknight8621 if you've done Star Tours, the feeling is the same; but in smugglers run, the crew gets to control the action.

This looks really good. my only reservation is that it may end up being like the back to the future/simpsons ride at universal which was horrendous. i came off of that one feeling nauseous .
Is it as good as it looks or is there a feeling of just getting bounced about???

77 Adair omg I thought I was the only one. I felt so terrible after being on that Simpson’s ride at Universal. Crazy I’m going at the end of April also and will be trying this ride for the first time too. I guess we’ll both see real soon lol
When you do get to go, it feels really good (if you are or get good pilots).

Yes
to an extent. you can bump into things but you are kinda on rails. i went in nov and was a pilot when i rode

This makes no sense. The cockpit is on the right side of the Millennium Falcon, so where are those cannon ions coming from?
It’s so they can have more than one group going at a time it’s made for efficiency not for the most realistic looking falcon

I went on this ride for the first time with my brother and sister and my mom but expect my dad cause he doesn’t like roller coaster he has a fear of it well he did got on one ride which was the dinosaur ride in animal kingdom and I gotta say me and my mom we were pilots and my sister and my brother were gunners on this ride it was so amazing and cool but I never got on the rise of the resistance ride

@@ryancinarkaya5791 so rides like the Teacups, Astro orbiter, Buzz Lightyear Astro-Blasters, Toy Story Midway Mania!, Dumbo the flying Elephant, Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin, Autopia, kinda Matterhorn because is you bob and weave with the turns it goes faster but I digress. You wouldn't ride those ride and talk crap on it because you don't care for it? You just sound like a boring person.

For me it’s just not a fun ride. It’s really really rough, and if you have a bad pilot it’s at the point of being unfun. Still a cool experience though
Is the video flipped? The Falcon doesn't have blasters on the starboard side like that.

Very underwhelming. Not worth the 70 minute wait and certainty not worth longer times when full capacity is allowed.
To be honest, for a 2 hour wait on this attraction is actually garbage
It's usually 60-80min at Disneyland on weekends and less on weekdays. And single rider is usually 15-25min
Universe LT4 that was on u for waiting that long u should’ve gone later at night or when the fireworks started🤣🤣🤣
It's too bad this attraction is made for stupid people who never played a competitive video game. Like soccer mom and 3 year old kids. I wish they made it more challenging, and actually had Hondo make it clear if you do bad. Most people will assume they won even if they lost.
