It truly is sad how fast time goes by and steals our youth away from us. The kids in this video had it made and didn't even know it and now it's 49 years later. If we could only go back and somehow have the realization how good we had it.
Such a difference from today! Only watched a little, so far, but people aren't so over-excited to be filmed, vs. today, where all some want to do is take selfies. Not to mention they're in the present, as opposed to having their head down, bent over a phone, and totally disconnected from reality. Nice...miss those days!!
Cool old film -- thanks for posting! This was 4 years after my brother graduated from Pali, 2 years after my sister graduated, and 15 months before I started in Pali in Sept, 1976 (Class of 79). I graduated in 2002 in a new state of the art school and they had cameras everywhere. But of course there was one door down in the hall corner by the maintenance room and most kids would skip through that door when the crew was out for lunch or doing whatever, just had to time it right and if you did sometimes you would get lucky and catch the county public bus and can hop on for a quick getaway.😂😂

The guy in the red baseball cap is still there to this day. He keeps flunking year 12. He thinks he has a good chance of passing this year. Sometimes he feels insecure being the oldest kid in the class and being older than the teacher.
I was born, WAY after 1975 but this is interesting. Is this a home video camera?? That might explain the lack of sound in the footage, I watched a home video of my grandma from 1969 when she was a baby and it also had that lack of sound, my idea it was just the low quality of these types of cameras, probably because they were less expensive than TV or movie cameras and that kind of stuff at the time.
Back then a kid could record on an 8mm film camera. The technology didn't support sound. It wasn't until the '80s that videotape camcorders were made which could record sound as well.
