Just got my one delivered today. It’s a delight but my one ,the brown calfskin cover is a little thinner and the calfskin is very smooth . Your one looks like has a better texture, material and leather , plus your cover calfskin is thicker. I find mine the print is a little inconsistent but it’s highly readable, also the red letter is a little inconsistent but highly readable, the paper extremely silky which I like very much . A top class bible ❤️
Whenever I need an answer about a Cambridge Bible, I look up your videos and without a doubt, you've made a video that answers my questions. Thank you for your devotion in spreading the new about these quality Bibles.
@@BurtonBibles Did you happen to mention that this particular Cambridge cameo KJV does “not” have the Apocrypha in it? Because I was under the impression that the Cambridge cameo KJV has the apocrypha. Or are there versions of the Cambridge cameo KJV with and without it? Could you verify this please? Thank you and God bless!
Thank you for the comparison of the cameo and Pitt minion. I own the Pitt and love the foot print, but the text is a little small for me. I really think the cameo would be perfect for me as an everyday carry bible.
This was my first really nice bible I purchased back in 2011. I've used this edition for everything, it's still holding together, though I did have to put a strip of cloth book repair tape on the inside liner. Gilding is now speckled with spit particles, lol, still beautiful and the leather wears like a fine wine. I've held a goatskin cameo, but I think the brown calfskin is much better in my opinion.
I now like the two-column setup like the Schuyler QUENTEL and PSQ has but in the King James version of the Cambridge I do like the dark print in all of the King James versions.. I wish they had done that in the TOPAZ. But it is nice even w/o ALL the NKJV references.
That's going to meet my soul winning Bible as matter what side Atlantic it you're on well when Souls look at the copy shop or whatever to the using your phone you can pull that out and use it great Bible
Thanks. I like CAMEO in 8 point FONT. And the PSQ Schuyler in 8.5 FONT. I love BOTH. Do you know what FONT the Diadem will be in.? And what versions? THANKS.
Thank you brother your encouragement is valued! I have a personal devotional style blog which I don’t keep very up to date due to my family and church responsibilities but feel free to browse markdryden.blogspot.com Hope there is some encouragement for you there!
I like the text block of Cameo very much. I wonder whether there is a bible which uses Cameo's text block (font size ~8), having no references (i.e. text only), having inexpensive cover (which can be faux, vinyl or hardback), so that one can use that as an everyday-carry (EDC) bible?
Hi Robert you can buy one of these from Burton Bibles of course! 😀 Go to burtonbibles.com and search Cameo! I don’t blame you, I think this Calfskin is absolutely stunning. God bless
Big question is size as they’re very similar. The Turquoise is effectively a super sized cameo. Pick if you want something more portable or don’t mind a bigger Bible. Either way you won’t be disappointed!
When comparing Cambridge Cameo (calfskin) and Cambridge Cameo (imitation leather), is there any difference between them other than the material of the cover?
No the Cameo is a hand size, the Turquoise is quite a bit larger. They have different but similar style fonts and layouts as they are both from the 1920’s. 👍
Normally I could ship to the us but I’ve stopped for the time being until shipping charges and service levels resume some sort of normality. I’m giving it a few more weeks 😀👍
I used my smartphone speak now function and it kind of is a little messed up in a lot of over the next few days I'll go back through and remove some of the bizarre typos it gave until then please bear with it. You have so many bibles that have reference center call and references is her bottom or different locations. Talk about all these Bibles and the Cameo Bible center column references are the most incredible set of references I have ever found in a Bible. If I'm reading from the original languages and using an English Bible for reference purposes these references glow. If I'm reading a patristic commentary these references are right there with me. If I'm reading Reformation commentary or documents of the Reformation or something by an Anglican Divine of an earlier era they're there. If I'm picking up a very serious modern scholarly commentary these references are there. If I'm sitting reading the 1662 book of common prayer lectionary to go with warning and your evening prayer has what I need there too. I've never used the center column reference Bible whose references went over that wide arrange of material and was still relevant. The addition I have has 128 page dictionary in it unfortunately they don't publish the dictionary right now in the Bible which is a tragedy. 128 page dictionary talks about each book of the Bible it gave a Harmony of the Gospels he gave information about the major people of the Bible the major places of the Bible the major doctrines in the Bible we're talking about 128 pages and I had better information on some of these topics then it was finding in these fancy new study Bibles. So if you can find a copy of this Bible with the dictionary and the concordance it's definitely worth $400 price tag of picking it up.. then you've got maps with you're getting it with this newest side or this older set that included The Moody maps wonderful maps helpful then we're not like having a Bible atlas there but neither is the dictionary like having a five volume dictionary either. And the concordance vacancy is just wonderful if you're teaching a class or you're sitting out in the park one afternoon reading and you need something it's usually there. I originally picked up a copy of this Bible to use for using with a run through of the 1662 book of common prayer lectionary for a year. It kind of fell in through the back door 28 29 years ago. Since then this is the reference Bible I've used for most of that time. When I'm traveling whatever it's most the time it's used. They did a nice NRS fee reference Bible gave beautiful center column references like her found in here but they gave a glossary in the back God is good as the dictionary no way is it a replacement for it and no way is it a replacement for the coordinates. It has the maps it has the center column references but this is the rest. I'm assuming it all comes down to cost but the Cameo King James Bible with the Apocrypha center column reference dictionary concordance map gazette and maps is compact great for travel great for preaching from great from for church use in low light bright light. For god sakes Cambridge get it back and print charge me $240 for it and calfskin it's worth it. Don't get me wrong this Cambridge a bridge Cameo Bible it's a nice bridge Bible to carry but it ain't no substitute for the gold standard cameo.

@BornAgainRN hi there yes they do two versions. The Apocrypha version is only available in black calfskin though!
@@BurtonBibles so the Cambridge Cameo does come without the Apocrypha in it?
@@BurtonBibles also, do you know if the 1769 KJV included the apocrypha or not?
The brown is very pretty. Cambridge makes some excellent Bibles.
This brown is just gorgeous isn’t it? Hope you’re well sister!
Love the cameo bible, that's for sharing
Same here sister, it’s my go to recommendation for a small KJV Reference. God bless
Mark, I have this bible. It is excellent and one of my favorites.
The Cambridge Camino is great. I got this bible in Goat skin and the Brown Calf skin in the KJV.
Thank you for the comparison of the cameo and Pitt minion. I own the Pitt and love the foot print, but the text is a little small for me. I really think the cameo would be perfect for me as an everyday carry bible.
That’s absolutely what this Bible was made for, a perfect size for every day carry! God bless
very nice...
My favourite!👌

Yes I love the calfskin. Lies flatter because it isn’t edge lined as well!

Not that I know of! The LP is the Cameo text block with no references but is pretty big.
I’ve seen the Cameo with “Holy Bible” inscribed on the cover and some without... is there a reason for this? Thank You And Merry Christmas, God Bless!
Not that I’m aware of brother! Thank you and God bless
I recently bought the same Bible from Evangelical Bible and it does not have "Holy Bible" on the front cover. I wish it did.
Cambridge typically puts holy Bible on their calfskin bibles but leaves it off their goatskin editions
Hi Mark, for Cambridge Cameo and Cambridge Large Print, which one do you like more?
Cameo. 😀
Do you know were I can pitches one of these in brown ? Was looking at the goatskin but think the brown looks better
Thanks Robert!
Hi Robert you can buy one of these from Burton Bibles of course! 😀 Go to burtonbibles.com and search Cameo! I don’t blame you, I think this Calfskin is absolutely stunning. God bless
Is this font the same as the font in the Concord?
Hi thanks for the enquiry, no the font is different in the Cameo. It’s a nice bold 8pt which I find nicer but this will be v subjective 😀
If I were to choose a bible to buy, between KJV Cameo and KJV Turquoise, which one would you recommend?
Big question is size as they’re very similar. The Turquoise is effectively a super sized cameo. Pick if you want something more portable or don’t mind a bigger Bible. Either way you won’t be disappointed!
Mark, where did you buy this cameo in brown calfskin?
Cambridge 😀 I think it’s still a current edition, might be wrong
For Cameo (goatskin) and Cameo (Imitation Leather), are their paper-quality the same, or one is better than the other?
Same
Main difference is leather and the goatskin is stitched around perimeter
When comparing Cambridge Cameo (calfskin) and Cambridge Cameo (imitation leather), is there any difference between them other than the material of the cover?
Calfskin has art-gilt page edges but that’s about it. 👍
@@BurtonBibles Thank you for the info. Glad to find you as another one who is a Cameo lover.
Are the cameo and the turquoise the same?
No the Cameo is a hand size, the Turquoise is quite a bit larger. They have different but similar style fonts and layouts as they are both from the 1920’s. 👍
Sale me that one!!!!
I cannot find this brown calfskin here in the U.S. Help, please!
Normally I could ship to the us but I’ve stopped for the time being until shipping charges and service levels resume some sort of normality. I’m giving it a few more weeks 😀👍
What would be the best king James bible with the apocrypha under 100 dollars thanks
Hmmm, I’d stretch your budget and go for the Cambridge cameo with Apocrypha in black calfskin for an extra 20 or 30 dollars. 👍
Burton Bibles does the brown cameo have the apocrypha thanks for replying
No it doesn’t sorry. Just the black calfskin
Thanks for the video. But you need to reed New Age Bible Versions by Gail Riplinger

Are its paper and printing the same quality as those seen in the goatskin Cameo?
Looks very expensive.
Not really and you get what you pay for!
