I wanted to love the Cambridge edition of the NRSVue. Sadly, the paste-down liner has failed after less than a month of use. I submitted a warranty claim but fear that Cambridge will put it back on the seller. I don't think Blackwell's should be held responsible. I don't know what to do.

Hey Mark I have a question for you. The blue Turquoise's sell brand new from EvangelicalBible for around $205 USD which is about 166 British pound sterling. Now if I go to the Cambridge website the Turquoise in goatskins are around $355.00 USD new. How is a company able to sell the Turquoise so much cheaper than the actual company that makes them? I get that one is a retail price but does Cambridge get a cut from EB or something?

Another wonderful unboxing video, Mark. Thank you. I envy you your relationship with Cambridge. It must be terribly difficult to part with some of those beautiful Bibles. Especially that brown Concord with the yapp! I've never seen one of those before. The rare burgundy KJV Emerald I purchased from you recently is now in my possession. It arrived (after a long journey) in perfect condition and I am very pleased with it. And to the viewer who can't decide between the Emerald or a Pitt Minion. Here is my advice: Get one of each!

I wish Cambridge would print the 1st edition Pitt Minion again. Do you think they ever will?

All great bibkes, great review. My perfect bible: Navy or Imperial blue full Yapp cover, any type of material leather, etc, 10x7", Red Letter for Jesus, Blue for God in old testament, verse by verse double column exactly as in the Thomas Nelson new McLaren, same font also or font from Cambridge Turquoise, KJV, bottom references, 9.5-11 font size, red or blue drop caps like in the Schuyler Canterbury, dark blue-gold guildings on pages.

Is the Clarion NIV a 2011 edition or 1984, please?

Mine is almost 20 yrs old and still in great shape. It gets used almost everyday. No plans to to replace it. It would take months to transfer the notes and highlight.😊

The hardback is not the same as the leather. The leather has ribbons and gilt as well as rounded pages.

I really enjoy mine. It would have nice to have had a brief intro for each chapter.

Odd question - where did you get the pen / marker wallet seen around the 12 minute mark.

Thats why i bought the 5th Edition wide margin. Plenty of room for detailed notes and not near the edge.

So here I am set on a Cameo and I see the Clarion as seen in the video. Thank you for the indecision. :) All kidding aside, I think I am going to give the Clarion a try.

A future video about Bible marking tools would be nice. Several "crafty" UA-camrs talk about different brands of highlighters and pens, but they seldom talk about the paper and how the different products work with them. I understand that the weight of the paper isn't always the most important thing to look at. It would be great to see the tools available for the different types of Bible paper, like colored pencils with super thin paper and the different types of markers and whether they bleed through verses show through, etc. I know that paper is a separate issue and can be quite complicated because of the various ways it's made and the materials used, so weight alone isn't the only thing to consider when marking in a Bible. Thanks for this video and the mini study lesson! I have just subscribed so I'm looking forward to more Bibles!
