They might think that way to, but i think its best we avoid hating chinese people because of what a few stupid leaders are up too. If war ever happens between US and china good chance none of this shit will ever matter anyways. There wouldn't be a take over of either country, it will be scorched earth on both sides before that happens. But i try and avoiding hating a entire country over what a few people think. It is still the year of Mouse until Feb 12 according to the Chinese Lunar Calendar. From that day on, Feb 12, it is the year of Ox. If you remember the scene that Wukong defeated a giant mouse and then a giant Ox broke in, you'll understand the connotation behind this scene setting. Farewell to the past year, be ready to new year's challenge.

I love the atmosphere that this game has, the Chinese folklore and mysticism combined with that soundtrack is something so fresh. I love the feeling this game gives me.
Wish more people would support the developers here rather than giving IGN free clicks just for borrowing their trailer.

But the fact that they have time to make this AD suggests that the game science schedule should be ample (unless they are working 25 hours a day).

they are aiming for a 2023 release, so a 3090 will be a upper middle tier card by that time.

The enemies in this game bro, they all look fantastic
Everything looks so much cleaner and more detailed compared to the first trailer/gameplay we saw last year!
There were a few frames that were still a little bit choppy, while panning through the environments, but with this being still in development that's to be expected.
Improvements I've noticed:
- The overall lighting is a lot more realistic looking now.
- The particle effects are definitely cleaner. Especially noticeable in the sparks/fire, crumbling rock from the destructible environments, dust/ash in the air as well as coming off the ground when the characters are moving.
- Can see ripples and splashes in the water puddles, when the characters are moving through them now!
- Textures in the environments have more definition and are sharper!
- Combat and character models move more fluidly.
- The animation on the clothing and fur work of the characters is more realistic now! You can actually see how it flows with the skin and muscle definition (shown on the large bull/minotaur character towards the end).
Definitely a big improvement compared to the fur animation on the dog demon from the first trailer/gameplay, where it looked like the fur just glued on to a surface instead of actually being a part of it.
Really excited to see future updates on this game! Definitely take all the time you guys need to make this the best it can possibly be!

But CDPR was a really big company with many people trusted them, their reputation was really over the top in the community, except for the toxic workplace and the crunches they put on their employees of course. When they said "COMING WHEN IT IS READY" , as a hardcore fan, how could you not hype for that ? People loved the studio, of course they would expect the thing they said to be true .

When the giant ox break out, he and Wukong give greetings to each other before battle, so he's possible to be Bull Demon King, used to be Wukong's best friend before Wokong got captured by buddha.

@@ex0duzz It's fan made story. In origin novel 'journey to the west', wukong defeat ox king's son (red boy) because he tried to attack Tang Sanzang. After that wukong broke up with his old yaoguai (yokai) friends, they believed wukong abandoned honor & freedom then came to be buddha's lackey. Ox king has no sister but wife (Princess the Iron Fan). Wukong take the opportunity to get the magical fan with tricks, when the wife being jealous for ox king has an affair. That made wukong and his old friends a deeper contradiction.
I hope this is included in the game cuz the enemy and level designs are impressive if not, dare I say phenomenal even when Wukong hits the buff rat thing's muscles you can see the impact its very amazing

I hope so, I have lost interest in most Western games which are all about graphics and cinematic experience , love some Japanese games but they are few and usually lacking in one department or more.. we need other countries to weigh in and make great games so we can have much more options

Amazing game play Wukong has been among my favorite anti-heroes!
I just love the fast combat animations. Nowdays everyone try to make it slow so it looks more cinematic. But faster is more fun
No, faster is not necessarily more fun, it stills needs to have satisfying weighty feeling to it and not be spammable so it doesnt become a brainless combat

This game looks really good🤤 But we still prolly have to wait a while for it. If I recall correctly Game Science said they plan to release Black Myth: Wukong by 2023, and with the pandemic I'm guessing that timetable might have extended. I don't mind waiting for games done right, so I'm looking forward to seeing more as the development continues.

It is an anticipation game that I am very excited about.
Close-range action battles also look very good, and you feel like a dark fantasy soul with no dreams or hopes like Sekiro and Dark Souls 3.

I was planning to wait until after the console rush to buy myself a PS5. No announced games have interested me as much as this one, so I might wait to buy one until this game is released and make it the first PS5 game that I play.

So trying to read the website, it clearly says that they haven't rulled out a one time pay then purchase for dlc. Then further down there is a question about weekly cost.
It then also talks about a player that focuses on the solo part of the game and experiences.
But most stuff I find talks about it being a solo rpg.
However this information makes it look more like an MMO that is paid. So which is it? Paid weekly even.
Can't wait!
