If you get a chance and can make a video of houses for sale around the village near the capital that would be great I am looking to buy a house there.

Black soils occupy about 60% of the territory in Ukraine (around 25% in the world). The thickness of the layer sometimes reaches 1.5 meters.
With this peaceful scene , its hard to believe the hardships experienced by so many in Ukraine. Its great you can bring this part of the Ukrainian countryside to our eyes.

My mother used to make pickles and canned fruit in the 1950's when I was a very young child. The town shows a lot of history. We used to get by on a lot less 50 years ago. I appreciate life more now after viewing your videos.

Everywhere around the world small towns are shrinking. Everyone wants to live in the big city except me :-) all that lovely food growing everywhere is such a blessing. Here in the US everyone eats from boxes and wonder why our health is so bad.

Hello Taya, I have never been to Ukraine, but I have been to your region. In 2004, I was Bulgaria to visit my schoolmate and his wife. We also went to Greece and Turkey. We stayed in an apartment in Varna on the Black Sea, which is a few hundred kilometers from Odessa. I also met their cousin Svetlana, whose mother and grandmother are from Ukraine. I pray for them and hope that they were not visiting when the war started. I hope that you and your family will remain safe until peace returns. Slava Ukraine!

Awesome video Taya. I grew up here in the USA IN a small town of 2,500 people. We call them towns here instead of villages. Sadly a lot of our small towns have died or they have lost their local hospital etc which is so sad. Thank you for this enjoyable and informative video!
You never need rural areas when your old and need services!

Very interesting video ! I came to Ukraine 🇺🇦 a month ago to learn the language and do some humanitarian volunteer job, I'm shocked by the life here in Kyiv in the sense that most of the time it looks so normal. It's interesting to see how life goes on in times of war.

Intressting to see you have a museum and some writers born there, even though the village looks small. How many habitants does it have today? I liked the small scale agricultre in this small villages where cows can go free.. maybe they as sacral like in India :)

Less than 10 cows is protected by law as personal pet here. You don't need them in the industry regulations if you do it this small!
