Same here, yoy're welcome in our city of Lyon, hope you'll try the food, Lyon is France food capital after all ! All good things are nice in these dire times of war...
What is remarkable and speaks very well of Ukraine, is how anxious Ukrainian refugees are to get back home. They really love their country, and do not like to impose on their host countries. You are good people!
Hi Tanya, I'm hosting a Ukrainian family in France. I enjoyed watching your video we got the documentation all settled, think the administrative process is quicker in smaller towns than Paris or Lyon. Take care and I hope you are able to return home safely soon .
It is very nice to see you smile more! I am very happy that you are doing well and with the support that France is providing. I'm sure you are looking forward to going home though. I hope that Kiev has not been too damaged by the war and that your apartment is still there. Hugs from Texas!
Very nice video! Thank you from USA. My great grandparents ran from Hitler with 5 children. It took many months to come through ELLIS island in New York, and arrive in Michigan.
Wow…. What a nice young lady. Really enjoyed knowing that you are OK, that the country of Ma Grande-mère is helping you!!! My French Grande-mère , a French Nurse in WWI, took care of grandpa ( American soldier), healed his wounds, they married in France ( so Grandfather is also French Legally), and moved to Los Angeles. We are praying 🙏 for you Tanya!!! Trust In Jésus, he will show you the Way, step by step…….you are Amazing Tanya!!! Keep your chin up!!! ❤ to you🌹and our prayers for Ukraine 🇺🇦!!!
Beautiful city, I love architecture. Especially historical. More importantly, it is good to see another update of your life. Stay safe, and happy early Easter!
Have a good Easter as well, Taya! Thank you for the update. Good to see you have food, transport pass and acquaintances (and Yuki) why you are in France (better than being alone). I enjoyed viewing the Lyon architecture and cobblestone streets as you walked around the city. Take care.
So happy to see you are safe, that you have food and work and are doing well. Nice to see the sights in France in your vlog. Thank you for sharing your journey with all of us.
I understand the struggles of people how to evade the troubles that's happening from Ukraine, you're just one of them. I just feel proud how you express your stories, the universal language it's really amazing, it's understandable and clear. May the problem end up soon and head to a new beginning.
I used to joke with my friends, that it is roughly as easy to speak in English in France as in Ukraine. The French people know a lot, but do not want or dare to talk. The Ukrainians don't know so much English, but they really want to use all words they can. And where there is a will, there is a way.
A trick I've tried in France several times is to start a conversation in English. When they pretend not to understand, I repeat in German. Then they normally speak reasonable good English. 🌝🙃
@Anders Peterson doesn’t make your statement less wrong, just as I understand (and hope) that my personal experience with Germans in Germany is not representative of German people in general.
Nice video and walkabout in Lyon. I'm glad to see you are out of harm's way and well cared for. There's no telling how long the situation in Ukraine will last, but at least you are in a beautiful and safe place. Take care.
I really really like this video, you say your thoughts, feelings, emotions, your appreciation for little things, your nature, your fears, anxiety, sadness, what you're facing, your optimism, your options, opinions, inner conflicts, thought process, decisions, and you give context to everything. I like. I like. Thank you, Taya. I also like how you utilize your resources to the optimum level, you're a lateral thinker, resourceful, critical thinker, you think fast, and you execute fast, you're nimble, dynamic, woman of action, you're always adapting, you're a survivor. You're such a blessing to be showing all these things. You break down but after a while you get back up again. I hope when I have chance to be a client of your relationship studio, I would also see that kind of spirit in the Ukraine woman that I will meet through the matchmaking of your studio. Dax here from Philippines...
Taya! I am so glad to see that you are safe in France. I have been praying for you every day. It is good to see you smiling. Now, you are an "international person." You were born in Ukraine, you have been in Poland, and now you are in France. I want to hear about all of your experiences and all your travels. I would like to see more videos about your struggles and all your joys. And I would like to see a video about when you return to your homeland.
Taya, we really love your content! Life will always change and trust me, your own life will have a bright future, for sure! Sometimes, we have to wait some time for the right development, though. My wife is also from Ukraine and her parents and a lot of relatives and friends are still there. Let's hope, everything will be over, soon! Stay safe and try to enjoy the few little good moments of every single day, my friend! ;)

I am glad that you have found safety Taya. Pray that you continue to prosper in your new environment, and maybe you will be able to return to Ukraine one day and make it an even better place.

I really enjoyed watching this video. I never been in France so it would be cool to see parks, inside grocery stores (food products) , historical museums and etc.
You are so intelligent! And such a sweetheart! I really wish you could have an opportunity to get that higher education you mentioned. But even without it, you are such a bright light and heartwarming! At this stage of your life, and under the circumstances in your home country, you are having to adopt a “citizen of the world” mindset. If only we could all recognize each person as a world citizen, as well as from a home country, worthy of our respect everywhere. I’m without work, too, at the moment, so I empathize. I would share whatever money I was earning with you, but I must use what I have sparingly at the moment. I wish peace, love, and comfort for you always! As we say, “hang tough, girl”! Love ya!
Taya, your positivity is inspiring! I've visited Kyiv four times in the past 3 years for work and regret not properly exploring. I'm looking forward to booking a tour with you when Ukraine wins this war. Slava Ukraini!

Hello Taya, congratulations for making it to France. I also had French for some years, but I never made it to France. I could only use my knowledge for communication with French tourists in Sicily, Spain and Northern Africa. Most of the vocabulary has decayed over time, but grammar, sentence-building, etc. are still there (I graduated from school in the end of the 90´s). I have pursued your channel from about 2020, when we were under lockdown and I experienced the internet as more than only a research tool. Kind regards from Austria, Mathias
Nice to know you are well looked after in France and also to know that your father is doing fine too. I have two Ukrainian friends in France at the moment and in the process in sponsoring one of them to come to the U.K.
In Lyon, there is free "stolovaja", but you have to have a card to eat there. Cards are issued by "social centers" based on your ARR, where you stay, but the place is near "Lyon Perrache" railway station. Then, there are several organisations that bring food for "homeless persons" to the other side of railway station some evenings. But the main organisation in France to feed people is "restos du coer" for free, but as far I remember their vans become 7PM in somewhere in Garibaldi. You have to ask the brochure where from some social service to find exact adresses out. Anyway, you won't be starving anywhere in France as they have such kind of systems in place. The best place was in Quai Saone, where you can shower, wash your clothes and eat but they ask some money for it. Like 20 cents for breakfast and 2 EUR for luch. But, kind of restaurant for 2 EUR! But again, I do not remember the adress. Has been several years of Covid when I was last time allowed to visit Lyon. If you think to move Toulouse or Nimes, I can be more helpful.

because nobody speaks Swedish you are obliged to speak English
False. The level of English in France is very low, and that's for very systemic reasons. No need to put morals or judgment into that.
A trick I've tried in France several times is to start a conversation in English. When they pretend not to understand, I repeat in German. Then they normally speak reasonable good English. 🌝🙃
