MS Word: Heading 2 numbering not following/resetting after Heading 1

A lot of you mentioned the problem that their numbered headings are incorrect and that for example the heading level 2 is not following the heading level 1 numbering. If your heading numbers are not resetting correctly, make sure that you've set the correct numbering options, as there a multiple different ones. If it still doesn't work, then your default list structure might be broken and you have to reset it.

Hey in lapy bullets and numbering are not appearing can u please tell me how fix it?
Unfortunately I didn't understand the problem. But in any case, it sounds like you are concerned about standard bulleted/numbered lists and not heading numbering?
@@LeonRenner yes I'm asking about bulleted/numbered when I put bullet they disappears.
Obviously my documentis "just messed up", or, maybe ???
it's somewhere else for MS 365, the online version, hmm.
Online version doesn’t have as much functionality as the installed version, so it could very well be that this is the issue
I don't even have the list 💀
