I’m not going to pretend to know anything about the UA-cam algorithm. I will only say that of all the channels I subscribe to Sarah is the only one to release videos like a Swiss clock, and thus while clearly Sarah has a lot of work on the go, how missing a video release to take vacation with Charlie would ruin everything I don’t understand.
I operate a high overhead to make these videos. Most UA-cam automotive channels (that aren’t already well off financially) primarily build cars with whatever parts are “free” sponsored. Therefore a missed upload/revenue would impact the ability to produce content for you. There are other channels that operate the same way I do as well, and they likely work their asses off too.
People with regular jobs can make money in the holidays doing overtime or something else - but very few do because they value time off. The money you can't earn by relaxing can taunt you, whereas the benefits of occasionally relaxing are way harder to recognise or quantify, but no less valuable. ✌️✌️

Just as a heads up, grinding aluminum on a standard grinder wheel can cause the wheel to explode. The aluminum loads up in the wheel, and when it heats up and expands it causes the wheel to crack.
Many moons ago the fuel pump on my 1991 Explorer went out. Over the space of one year I replaced it 3 times with a Ford OEM part. All failed. I finally went with a Bosch and if hasn't failed yet. That was 1979.

How about getting the piece of the mirror 3D printed? You can print with metal powder these days (3D sintering), so you'd only need to have that part digitalized, have some FDM (plastic) test prints done to check fitment and finally have it sintered in metal. Or you take that piece and have it milled on a CNC mill, looks like it could be done. Once done either of those, you'll never have an issue with that ever again - and you get to choose the material.
Such a heartwarming vid. It shows you love this car. Maybe you could do a road trip to get it tune. Making a video out of it because you obviously need and deserve the views, but this way it would be a different kind of video for you, less wrenching more enjoying.
For that mirror doodad I would just see if I could cozy up to someone with a CNC or something, 3d scan a new one, and have them reproduced from some CNC'd material.
Sarah, I know where you're coming from with the (non) availability of certain early 90s Toyota parts. I needed a new air intake hose for my 1991 Celica GT. Fortunately, I was able to source a genuine NOS part from Nengun in Japan. The price was quite reasonable considering it had to be shipped from Japan to the UK. I'm on the lookout for a right rear ABS sensor and I might have to modify/adapt something from the Toyota/Lexus parts bin. Right now, I have a crank, no start issue.
Love the MR2 and Supra too! Worked at a Toyota dealership ’89-90 and the parts department sold 1/43 scale die cast. Got the MR2 in red and ‘90 Supra. Then found a last gen Celica and 4th gen Supra at a hobby shop rounding out a cool little collection! Thanks for all the hard work you put into your videos, love watching! I dunno.. after the past few times going to SEMA I started to think otherwise. The automotive community is not exactly exclusive unless you’re on the cool kid list.

After watching you tune the Ranger, I have little doubt you could tune the Toyota without any issue.
I came to say the same thing.
The cold start on the ranger isn’t tuned right, and the MR2 is far more complex than a naturally aspirated 160hp V6 😆
