Awesome tool to get things started. Little thought here: I would like to see EZ Bass having an option for following the chords notes only as played in the dropped midi file. (force lock to) instead of being in scale only. For example if you have a 6 note in your dropped midi chord let us decide what 1-6 note it should follow at places.

Hi, The Follow Host button is not shown when you're using the EZbass app in standalone mode. If you insert EZbass as a plugin in your DAW, you will see the Follow Host button and EZbass can be set to follow the tempo and Play/Paus of your DAW.
Is there a function to manually write in my chord progressions or can it only be done by d/d'ing from ezkeys? As I dont use ezkeys. I want to know before I buy,.
Yes, of course. With the Pencil tool you can draw in chords of any length in the chord layer of the song track. Then you can double click on these chords to change them.
Hi, Yes in the Chord Wheel there is only Major and Minor chords, but you can however also use the Grid Editor to add any notes to your bassline. We will forward your feedback to our development team!
I'm waiting for the day when Toontrack brings the Earth wind and fire brass 🎷🎺👏
bought it .. it was soooo GOOD! worthy investment

They make the best ish
wow, interesting, can you also drag another midi sequence to ezbass (instead of the ezkeys sequence shown in the beginning?)
I cant drag midi chord progression from EZkeys 2 to EZbass from within StudioOne? Can you tell me how?
Hi, I don't have ezkeys, but I'd like to drag and drop my chords progression. Is it possible? if so, how can I do that without using ezkeys?

can i use midi notes from my sequencer to trigger the bass. cant afford to buy both the keys and bass
Hi, EZbass can be triggered with MIDI from a host or MIDI controller. EZkeys is not needed to trigger the EZbass sounds.
😎👍🎼🎼🎼
Really dislike five string though, is there a way to have it play as a four string only?
Yes, you can change it to 4 string bass with a click of a button.
That all sounds great but I cant see my Follow Host Button. Why????

@@toontrack thanks for the reply guys.
How to make Dominant and demnished etc. chords ? There is only major and minor in Ezbass!? 🙄

@@toontrack this feature definitely needs to be added. The exact same chord wheel selection tool from EZKeys should also be in EZBass
This all really great but please slow down so those that are not as familiar with your software can get an idea of what you are doing!
so you need ez keys to make a chord sequence? that makes this useless, imo...
No, you don't need ezkeys. Can use a guitar chord progression if you prefer.
this thing can compose basslines and then bass player can learn to play them and record ahahahahahah lol what a cheat
how lame is this
Almost as lame as your comment but not so much
Yeah it is kinda lame but it is useful when u cant record a bass
