YES! Finally someone made an EZBass tutorial that shows that "EZ"Bass is actually "EASY"! I was shocked to find that theres NO simple tutorials to show how a novice can actually use it. Not even the ones put up by toontrack. They immediately get carried away in the deep intricate complex rabbit hole. Some of us just want to slap in a quick bass line to our grooves. I got the 10 day trial and couldn't figure it out. Thanks to you I just purchased it and now I'm SLAPPIN DA BASS MON!!!!!!

Very informative video. As a new user to EZ Bass-this was very helpful-BUT-your constant wiggling and moving the mouse conveyed a "frantic" approach! There was no need to wiggle the mouse-it took away from your delivery of this great content. Changing the pointer icon to a larger one would be of immense help-as we students could follow your voice rather than a small bouncing mouse. Thank you.

I enjoyed your comment on the circle of 5th wheel in easy bass. There really needs to be a video on how to use both wheels effectively. I don't know music theory at all and wish someone could describe note relationships based on sound characteristics rather than a theoretical description. For example happy notes, sad notes, tension building combinations, what notes don't work well together and which ones do etc. Teach me all about it without the music theory.

Hi , i just bought EZBass i would like to take my midi keyboard track from logic pro X which is Keyscapes and drop it into EZBass to create a bass track . I see tons of video showing how to take an audio track and convert it to midi but none showing how to get a midi chord track into EZbass or EZ drummer .
So how do I get ezbass into studio one? It doesn't seem to drag and drop.
I just posted a post in a subreddit looking for something like this. Fortunately I already have it (I forgot that I had it on my system already).
In the circle chord, I do not see chord like C major 7 or other 7 chord. If I want to change from C major to C major 7. How can I change?
Great videos on both the Ez bass and Ez keys! Quick question, is there a way I can use another VST like Serum while using Ez bass?. (I.e. when I play back Ez bass serum will be the instrument thats playing).
I like that idea! That's along the lines of what Scaler and Captain Chords does. Unfortunately that's not something EZ Keys or EZ Bass is capable of. You'll have to drag the midi from EZ Keys or EZ Bass onto Serum.
@@Inflightmuzik In EZKeys you can activate MIDI out and send it to another plugin/channel. So you can still use all the chord progression and part building with EZkey's MIDI pattern libraries but have another synth play that MIDI in realtime.

Hello! Does the Audio Tracker work well with strumming on an acoustic guitar?
I haven’t tested that. There might be a demo where you can give it a try though. I don’t have a guitar so I would t be able to do a real test.

El pasquin del Pueblo thanks! You would export wav just like you export or convert anything else with your daw to wav. In fl studio there are literally a half dozen ways to do it. Not sure what daw you’re using but, look up exporting wav for it.

El pasquin del Pueblo again, you export by using your daw functions. This does not export wav files. It only exports and saves midi.

@@jeffersondemaria I think I know what you mean. Doesn’t sound quite the same when you drag the midi to your daw. What I did was just record what ez bass was playing to an audio track in logic pro. I had ez bass playing different parts throughout the song/arrangement in the logic pro timeline and would make fine-tune adjustments in the ez bass timeline. Once I have it where I want it, I set up to record that to an audio track in logic pro. I hope this helps, peace.
And how can i take this midi session file to my daw into to another vst channel like midi drag?

I bought EZ Bass and I don't think it's worth the $$ they charge for it. Not when I got Dan Dean Essential Bass for $50 regular $100 - And it sounds sooooo much better~! I think I might try this Captain Plugins thing. I don't like hours of endless editing and for me the **numero *uno** thing is that the Kick & Bass groove together. That can't be done in the Audio Tracker of EZB. Plus I find it completely screws up the chord sequence of MIDI files I drag into it, it gives me chords not in the sequence in the Audio Tracker. It often stops playing when the VSTi interface is closed. Also, other reviewers have pointed out a problem with the sampling. I don't think it should be charged more than $100 tops for it. Seems like it's best if you're already a Toontrack user and have several of their products in your arsenal.
Never heard of that plugin. In terms of pure sound, modo bass is my go to
@@Inflightmuzik Hey you could answer this, I think? Can the stuff you make in Captain Plugins be exported to a MIDI file? I'd want to put it in my DAW and attach it to whatever instrument I wanted. Like in your case, can you export a MIDI file from Captain Deep and run Modo Bass on it?
