@MUFC Okay. Don't remember asking, but that's cool.
@MUFC Oh I’m sorry didn’t you realize that your sport is for pussies it’s not fake a injury day
Hittin the 250 mph fastball isn't what you gotta worry about, it's hittin the 220 mph slider that will get you.
This is exactly what I mean. Knowing the trajectory makes it " easier" to hit. With a lot of practice you will hit the ball. This is because you know or get used to the trajectory and speed of the ball. A machine shoots almost 100% of the times the ball at (in) the same spot. This is because the machine is NOT throwing harder, but the distance, there is a less of a distance for the ball to move out of the trajectory of the bath area. (The square inch of the barrel of the bath will be through the air at that distance). If he stand at a normal distance and give the ball chance to move (even if it is a machine throwing straight ball) at those real speeds he will not be able to hit it. Because the trajectory will NOT be the same each time. And to test this , let the machine at normal distance throw a 200 mph slider, heck even a 100 mph slider or a curve, his idea of how good he is might be changes. This is why Knuckle balls are so difficult to hit. IT IS NOT ABOUT THE speed but about the trajectory of the ball, if it chances in anyway or have no "simple" trajectory, it will be difficult to hit. Even at low speed.
Carlos-Alberto Wever just make a video doing what he's doing smart guy
Gambo or that 185 mph change up
he's to close for it to move
Just don't get hit by the oitch
I love how this guy has done this for years. And has inhumane ego for hitting a fastball, let a kid throw anything but a fastball at him and he is DONE

yeah going 20 mph... with a 5-10 second reaction time smh. it’s going to be harder to fit from that distance and speed. also, hitting isn’t the same as catching lmao
Well tbf it definitely is going significantly farther than that. A bunt will go 10-20 feet. He had a few good hits in there honestly. He has to sacrifice strength for speed it seems so an ideal baseball hit doesn’t equate to this sort of thing

Hunter Morris that’s true. Don’t those pitching machines throw the baseball in almost the same spot al the time? And at basically the same speed? Throw him something outside of his comfort zone to see if he can actually make contact. Btw he’s just making contact, that’s not a full swing not is it a baseball swing by any means. K Young but he is standing so close that difference is less than the size of the bat. He will always hit the ball if he swings in the same place. The ball does not have enough distance.

Social life? Negative. Friends? Nope. Employment? Does he even have time for something as petty as actually working for a living? lol underrated
Security guards are NOT LE. They have no more authority than the old lady planting her marigolds.
Definitely impressive but you can tell that a large part of it is his shortened swing, I'd like to see what sort of power those hits have.
If the pitch was going 250 though it's gonna go farther even with a shortened swing
But his swing vs 100 is a pop up in between the infielders and shallow outfield
Patrick Miles most people couldn't even see the ball in the air but he ITS hitting 250 people always complain smh
You are right to an extent, the ball has a maximum velocity so that 250 isn't necessarily going to go 2.5x further, and since his swing is just a chop at it, it would probably go to the outfielders. If he extended his swing a bit (physically impossible with the ball's speed), then it would probably clear the fence.
It's very impressive that he is making CONTACT with the ball, but I find a swing like Rafael Devers's home run off Aroldis Chapman throwing 103 to be more impressive. This man's swing is essentially an extended bunt, impressive anyways, but let's not act like he's the best hitter to ever exist.

Yeah, but what is there to be cocky about lmao? He can foul tip a 250 mph ball 100 times out of 100 😂 This skill is like if a placekicker in football could kick a legit 10-yard field goal. No one is gonna pitch 250 and legitimate 10 yards means your kicking on the line of scrimmage, on top of the goal line. Not gonna lie, they're difficult to do, but they are utterly and completely useless.
What days is he usually there? I will go there next year and see if I can hit that close
Andrew Sabater he isn’t foul tipping the pitches. He hit several line drives during the video. Hardly any of them went foul that I saw. Doesn’t mean it’s a useful skill, but you were trying to water down what he is doing for some reason. If you wanna say it’s a useless skill fine, but don’t try to diminish what he’s doin by pretending he is just foul tipping these pitches. Makes u sound jealous of his useless skill. Otherwise why would you lie about him just foul tipping every pitch?
