Right... With an actual load up and full swing. It's to hard to see. I hate how they say it's 250mph. Its 75. I would be completely blown away if he could hit 100mph from 60 feet. Because. This isn't 250 mph, it's 75mph
@@mattttttscotttttt when standing 20' from the pitching maching, 75mph is equivalent to a 225mph pitch at 60' 6", the distance from the mound to home plate. The reaction time he displays is the same as one would need to hit a pitch of that speed.
@@stelrfan1010 the ball is not moving at 250mph lol. The reaction speed is as if you were at home plate and it was thrown 250mph. HUGE difference. You wouldn't be able to hit it because you couldn't SEE the ball. This is not 250mph. It's 75. And the reaction speed ain't that impressive when you do a 1/4th of a swing. He's got quick arms for his size, but this is not what people make it to be in the comments.
Stop hating, his consistency in making contact with 250 mph is undeniably impressive, regardless of how ugly his swing is. It’s all about his reaction time
Nah, he's just practiced it a lot and react to what? the ball at that range doesn't have much deviation. He just swings at the same spot. All he does is choke up a bunt swing and swings as soon as the sound or the color of the ball shows up.
The things is that it’s nearly impossible to hit that type of pitch from that distance with a proper mlb swing. Everyone knows that the guy has his own swing that is nothing near proper form that is used in the mlb. If any pro player would change their swing to the one Stanley has I bet they could hit the ball. Reaction time does have something to do with it but it’s mainly just the swing
I'm impressed with Cliff, he actually adjusted quite well and made good hits, actual hits, unlike Anderson, he makes contact, but you can tell from the trajectories they're all outs. If Cliff actually practiced this he'd do it a lot better than Stanley Anderson pretty quickly.
