Hi Jamie. Great video. Random question; have you ever found anything that will *always* expand the List View when editing pages in the block editor? It drives me crazy having to toggle List View open every single time I exit a page and go back in. :-). Many thanks!

It depends on the requirements somewhat. Paid membership pro is very good 👍
The era of specialized, autonomous experts AIs is on the horizon, and it's set to disrupt traditional industries. The need for human designers or programmers could soon become obsolete. Clients will simply ask their AI webmaster to make adjustments, offer suggestions, and iterate on designs together with the AI. Even, plan multistep strategies that play out over days and weeks… campaigns. In this new landscape, the only remaining role for humans might be oversight, and even that could be a multifaceted position, rather than one solely focused on web development.

These are just tools which will make our jobs easier. The days of making a meaning full website with just a few clicks is a long way off if at all. The tools do however make it much easier.

Great Jamie, just great! However, personally, I'm a bit intimidated. AI is moving so quick, I'm beginning to feel lost in building a website. It's like the learning curve never stops. But very cool technology, for sure.

So, who owns your voice now? And whatever content you are submitting? If those LLMs train off of content put in, do developers, site designers, etc., really want to risk work done for one client showing up esoterically in all sorts of other sites? While it may not be direct, it is like taking the TESS Database (US Trademark registration system) and allowing that entire database to be used as source material for any future design. What happens when the AI spits out content that mimics another? When one does not know the sources of the LLM, how can one trust using it for a client?
Those are all great questions - it's a new world!

@@thewiredworld4791 You are correct, but in the past, there was more human control, and even as it has been going on for a long time does not mean we need to continue it without limits or at least some level of responsibility. The genie is out of the bottle, but that does not mean the genie should be given a gold key to the city, state, world, etc.

AI will lead to a consolidation of this industry and most others like nothing else in history. While you see the onboarding process as simpler for new users, it will make it almost impossible for anyone other than the big boys, because the big boys will now be able to programmatically let AI do what we did at virtually no cost. Yes, there will be the outliers that are incredibly well established to be authentic, but unless you are one of those two, it will be nearly impossible for those in the middle to survive.
I get it. People love seeing new tech. People love being a part of new tech. But, this is disruptive and destructive in a way that is nearly impossible to quantify. Because the systems do not value in a way that preserves value to humans, the value of the work humans do will be only for those well-healed, and as machines do more and more autonomously, that value will become less and less. How does a society function when the machines can in most cases replace the value of nearly any human worker?

You cant copyright anything that has been produced in AI and for that reason especially graphics its going to be a big grey area.

Generic first steps...as in it's not usable and commercial video workflow yet. You can call it third gen if you want, but that's kinda meaningless
