I learned this from UA-camr BatmanArkhamVideos, who just today posted not only the trailer video but also another video showing the Easter Eggs that he found in it.
There is no way this takes place slightly before or after Arkham Knight. First off, 2016's Arkham VR already has that covered. It has to be in BETWEEN Origins and Ayslum. According to an Arkham Story in Arkham City, Ractcatcher is killed by Penguin before the events of City. Also, Batman's suit in this game is a no brainer as well. It looks like a hybrid of Origins and Ayslum's base suits rather than the metal armor of Knight, further indicating that this is a bridge in that time gap we don't see. Also, Roger Craig Smith, the voice of Batman in Origins and Blackgate, retweeted the trailer. I have hope.
Ngl, I've recently bought Quest 2, this game being Q3 exclusive did piss me off. Unlikely will this come on PC, so you could play it on Quest Link or Virtual Desktop... After the nonsense that is Suicide Squad, I'm not really fond of the new entries in this franchise, I do not think it is in good hands and considering that if I want to play this, I have to spend money on Quest 3, that is a hard sell for me no matter how one looks at it.

UA-camr BatmanArkhamVideos posted 2 videos today: one was the trailer about the new Batman: Arkham game, the other is a breakdown of all the hints and Easter Eggs that he discovered in the trailer. He suggests that this game will be set between Batman: Arkham Origins and Batman: Arkham Asylum; therefore, the voice actor may be the one from Arkham Origins, Roger Craig Smith.
Despite the disappointment of the fans for this game, which I 100% understand, I kinda hope that this is WB tryna redeem themselves after SSKTJL. Maybe we can expect another AAA arkham game from them in the future.
I’m really not sure how I feel about this. As much as I love the idea of a SECOND VR game in the Batman Arkham series, it’s kinda fishy they announced this only three months after how badly Kill The Justice League did and making this a Meta Quest exclusive is a really stupid idea on top of a lot of people not being able to play Virtual Reality games. Makes me even more concerned that they’re turning the Arkhamverse into a cash cow after the story concluded with Arkham Knight, which really angers me. Although I am hoping Camouflaj will surprise us with this game considering they made the underrated banger, Iron Man VR. So maybe they deserve a chance, but only time will tell….. I can’t stand if one of my favorite universes getting disrespected by two soulless video games in one year.
