As far as I know they didn't do another version, though you might be thinking of The Opium Eaters, last track on the 7 album. I'm sure I read somewhere that Mike Barson wrote it to be a follow up/slower version of Tarzan's Nuts. But don't quote me on that... ua-cam.com/video/IR-nVnjmEIM/v-deo.html
Dave Dinsdale thanks for the reply. My sister was a huge fan right back when they started. She knew one of the band, not sure which one. She may even have been dating him. I remember her coming home with loads of madness stuff, photos, records, all signed by everyone in the band. She had a couple of records of theirs in her collection marked Demo Only, that she played often. One was an ep, I'm sure if it, and that track was in it. I listened to The Opium Eaters. That wasn't it, but I remember her playing that too. My room was next to hers so I got an earful of Madness every day for several hours. I do remember that it had a slow ska beat. And the occasional bit of vocal noise from either Suggs or the other guy. Mainly piano, But a very basic version. Anyway, thanks again.
one of the best -yet underrated- songs of Madness
The bit of them preforming is them preforming Swan Lake, as seen on Dance Craze... The best of British ska.... LIVE!
Very hard to get hold of, have it on VHS.
Love this . Madness is totally lost without CHAS SMASH ❤

Fantástico!!!
There was also a slower version of this, with just the piano I think. It was on one of their e.p records.
Anyone know what it was called?
