      A pretty obvious omission, I'm not going to work on something I haven't seen.

    I wish you'd shown the finished result at the very beginning, or even at the end, so we know if this the tutorial we need or not.

    Also, on the code, it didn't work when i copied and pasted it, but somehow worked when i typed it and selected the command from the dropdown. hope this helps for some.

    Just in case this helps anyone else, this video and it's delivery is excellent - but you might have to type in the Expression if Copy & Paste doesn't work for you.

    Hey there just found your channel and this tut and it's just what I've been looking for. Basic and looks relatively easy to create. I was wondering though, I would like to make a template for this slide show to use in my future personal projects is there a way to do this. Would I create the slide show and then save as and just delete the imported images to do this? Thanks again the video.

      Hi there!
      Yes, you can save the project and then duplicate it if you'd like to use it for a new slideshow. The key though is that there is an easy way to replace photos.
      After you've imported your new photos, click on the photo you want to replace in the timeline. Then navigate to the project panel and find the new photo you want to replace it with. Then click and drag while holding down the option/alt key to the timeline. Once you let go the photo should be replaced.
      Hope this helps!

    Hey there! I'll want to make a slideshow-like video with each "slide" having 5 elements coming in then out of frame with an animation. I have around 50 slides made in photoshop (each having the same 5 elements that are slightly different), what is the best workflow for this kind of project so I don't have to animate all slides one-by-one?

    Great video! Thanks. Do you happen to know why when I sequence the layers it arranges from the bottom up, so the last image is my first image and the first is my last.

    • @johnthevideoguy
      @johnthevideoguy  Рік тому

      Hi!
      Yes, it all depends on the order you select them before you sequence your layers. Select them in the reverse order, I believe from top to bottom and they should be sequenced correctly.

    So, I kinda have a dumb question…. How do you zoom away from the timeline? I’m still kinda new to this

    says syntax error expression disabled. Any thoughts? Ok...had to type it instead for some silly reason. Why would that be?

    • @johnthevideoguy
      @johnthevideoguy  Рік тому

      Weird, I’m not really sure exactly. It might have something with the way it copies and pasted into After Effects. The formatting of it.
