I just got back from Japan last week, was there for 2 weeks from November 17, had an amazing time with my family and friends, but yes compared to when I went in 2018, it was very busy! some times it got a bit uncomfortable, but that's all good, I'm glad to go back and have such fun!

Thanks Toshi as always for your informative video, for the tax free I find it a bit inconvenient, also because if one has the discount immediately he reinvests in something else immediately if instead they are given back to him at the airport now you leave and take them home, maybe it would have been better to find an alternative solution for the crafty ones, also the fact of the reservations of the Nozomi I hope is limited to the holidays only, because the Japan Rail has already increased enormously it would become even more expensive to travel by train in addition to the hassle of having to book, for the ESTA we will see what will happen. I was lucky enough to see the Gundam in Yokohama and it was wonderful I would have left it there instead of moving it to make a static figure at that point it would have been better to make a new Gundam directly for the expo.

Has anyone found that the Japanese people have changed in recent years?
I’ve noticed they’re more passive aggressive like deliberately ramming into people at subway and metros and they’re not as polite as they were like 7 years ago. Politely asking for directions at the subway stations was always met with a side-eye and disinterest from the officers, like they rather couldn’t be bothered helping you unless you spoke perfect Japanese (even if you had a translator).
I don’t know if the boom in tourists has anything to do with it. But our recent trip was a bit disappointing in terms of our experience 🙁
