Toll Free: Gender-based violence in the spotlight and the real cost of staying silent

'Toll Free' casts Michelle Dede, Enyinna Nwigwe, Ibrahim Suleiman, and Uzoamaka Onuoha talked about the real cost of staying silent about gender-based violence and the solutions to addressing the issue at its root.
At the screening of the short film directed by James Amuta and Mel Rouge, actor Ibrahim Suleiman shared about the danger of staying silent, saying that "the evils that you hide are the ones that continue to grow."
Mel Rouge said the story of her short film is a global story and that her plan is to continue to champion the story.
'Toll Free' is one of the ten short films made by the grant winners of the 2024 cohort of Film Lab Africa, an initiative funded by the British Council Nigeria.
