- Just before they got on stage to play at the swiss indoor festival «Baloise Session», Culture Club's singer Boy George took a few minutes of his time to answer questions. He shares some anecdotes about the late Pete Burns (Dead or Alive), remembering their rivalry and friendship. He also talks about his early days, about growing up as a musician - and today's relationship within the band.

My dream was to go to a culture club concert, at least just to listen to them, but I never thought that I was going to get tickets at the very front, I could smell him. First time in Mexico city

I am so happy that he didn't give him self over totally to the drugs and end up dying in that world. This is a man who truly loves music, and I am so happy George and the band are back together and still making music!

That was my 1st concert I seen at MSG Sly & the family stone!! I was 12 yrs old, they was awesome, boy George I always loved u but now since I seen u in person, culture club at A.C. NJ I am so obsessed with u that I been U tubing u since I seen u August 4th!! My God when u was only 21 so smart & u r beautiful, I wish I can turn u around lol, but we can be besties being I live in NY also... I love u Georgie, keep on keepin on sweet thang 💞💞

He almost looks like he has been crying ir just annoyed with interview. Like the candidness of coming right to the "you mean Jon and me". Also saying he isn't a victim anymore " I wont let you hurt me. The documentary from karma to calamity" shows a lot of squabbles". Who knows. It is their business though.

True, but I would imagine he gets asked about Jon a lot, and its probably annoying to have to answer about something you put behind you 25 years ago.
Do you blame him ? It seems that's all every reporter tends to ask him about John as if that's what defines him. He is a different person now that many can't get passed that one relationship. Boy George is so much more than that.

Your love songs are sung with dance music and solo bands, and in the Culture Club where the flame of love has disappeared passionate songs will not be sung in the future.
