    I know three things:
    1. Never invite Ryan over if you want warm weather.
    2. Never be on the same flight as Ryan.
    3. Ryan lets everyone ride his Pole, but I was the first.
    😆😉
    Awesome vid, man!

      .If you or Ryan are ever homeless in Salt Lake City
      the Latter Day Saints will house and feed you. For
      2 weekly days of custodian labor at their Temple.

    Yay Santa Cruz-Santa Carla, where they filmed the 1987 vampire biker's rock and roll classic movie
    "The Lost Boys."
    My favourite film.
    Great video.
    Thank you mate.

    My round trip ride to Santa Cruz and home again average 2,400 miles.
    Which is mainly I-5 at posted speed limit and off-road amid the Modoc
    Nation Forest seeking underground lava exploration. I use a DR-650.

    I am getting ready to upgrade bikes and I would like to get something a little longer and slacker. I think the POLE is a little too extreme for me. But, i wanted to ask you how the XC (pedaling) part of your rides has been with such a long and low bike with suck a slack head tube angle.

    • @TheLoamRanger
      @TheLoamRanger  6 років тому +1

      New bike time! That's always exciting. The Evolink pedals really well actually. For a pedalling platform, I'd say its right between a Giant Reign and a Pivot Mach6, so not too squishy but not super firm either. Surprisingly enough, the geo makes for a great handling trail bike. You've kinda got to try it for yourself to really understand, but it's the best climber I've ever ridden and there's no wandering of the front wheel.
      Hope that helps!

    Yeah, riding the pig trails, the illegal trails in the Forest. Shame on you and the guy who took you there! I have ridden Niscene (and still do) since the 80's when we could ride on the hiking trails then the State Parks banned ALL mountainbikes from the park. I went to meetings and advocated for trail access, but because irresponsible riders were bombing down hiking trails and having collisions and scaring hikers the State Parks decided to allow bikes only on the fire road north of the steel bridge. Now with the advent of the Demo Forest riding area irresponsible riders are making illegal trails in the Forest. Actions like this will get us ALL banned from the Forest by the SP.
    Look, the Demo has some great trails, Wilder has some great trails, Ft Ord has some great trails! There are plenty of p;aces to go without infringing on places you shouldn't go. Remember; just because you can doesn't mean you should. Please be more responsible in your riding. Stay on trails and don't go making them without the landowners permission.
    Flame on!

    • @justsomenerd8925
      @justsomenerd8925 5 років тому

      Fuck off, everyone in SC rides those trails. Half the staff at SCB hit up upper campus on their lunch break.
