10:58 - the word you might be looking for Tim is kinaesthetic feel. When you hit that sweet spot with a movement or motion and even before you complete the whole action, your body already knows instinctively it will be successful/perfect. Matt Le Tissier talks about this really well, on his interview with 'Under the Cosh' podcast recently, when talking about scoring his final goal for Southampton at the Dell.
David's point about the lower back being the area where many find issue's down the line is true. The spine, lower back and hips can pick up imbalances really easily over time, if you are under training your non dominant side. Or if you are over reliant on the dominant one for too long. Look up Pelvic tilt and even the minor physiological issues that can cause this, even when they are located no where near to the lower back/spine. Chin/jaw/teeth and tongue position can have a major effect on breathing and the diaphragm, which is physically linked to the lower back and hips. The rope is a great way to open the pathways of movement on both sides on the body(even after years of neglect) and help reset the imbalances picked up.
Also check out Floyd Mayweather's running style and technique. He is well into his 40s now. He doesn't have a typical long distance runners body but his way of doing road work and jogging is extremely efficient. Even for older/recently recovered, injured sports people. His head over feet, arm movement, chin, neck, jaw position along with stride length is all very similar to David Weck's new method.
Top class again fella's. Can't thank you enough!! Also anyone needing motivation for training through check out Stic man's "Run" song or even the whole workout 2 album, if your into hip hop.

This episode was pure gold! Weck was on point the whole time, and he shows he's ahead of the game. The balance before power thing is so true. You can't do the thing you want in sports until you have your balance.

In my opinion, none of this is needed in natural humans, only modern ones who've lost it - And that's assuming these theories are correct. To teach kids how to walk/move would be nuts, we just need to remove the things which ruin posture so the next generations can thrive. Via negativa. I watch african, indian, south american kids dance and move on IG, they all have the same movement, it's innate and ruined by modern sedentary society. These kids, and adults, ought to be our primary teachers.
