Also, I am indeed re-watching the entire Armageddon series a year later and posting a comment on the video. Brilliant!
At this point if Games Workshop wants to do something unique with an Orc Campaign they need to come up with one where the Orks fight out numbered for a change.

Oberon. Saved the day on order of Grimaldus to commit the sacrilege of having the weapon forced out of it's sleep by one of his tech marines. To blow up the enemy mega gargant right before it won the battle by itself. Was a fun book to read. Even so Grimaldus was rather unpleased to be ordered to take command of a black templars company, as he wanted to remain with his brethren in space to bring the fight to the Orks. Right at the end he finally learned the lessons his sword brethren tried to teach him during the campaign. Pity all died but him. Also showed great the divide between the astartes chapters, when salamanders dropped to aid the harbour defence but refused to charge with the templars. As their only concern was to protect the squishy people shelter and not to charge the enemy to end a wargboss. Given how much that helped yarrik in the aeh.. first.... War it's kinda weird the salamanders didn't learn the importance of that.

It's because GW writes the Steel Legion with considerable inspiration from WW2 Germans in terms of tactics, names, etc. So GW decided to use a Germanic name for the Titan Princeps who sacrificed himself in the first Ork war, and the monitoring station was subsequently named in his honor.

Of all the technologies of human construction the 2 things that absolutely cannot fall into orc hands are Duct Tape and WD-40. If the orc power of “if we believe it therefore it works” were to combine with the slogans “duct tape and WD-40 fix everything” and “when in doubt, duct it” the imperium would never be able to defend itself against Orc space hulks or any large machinery again.
It is good that orks warped this way in. Imperium would not had benefited much from extra day of preparation or so. Loss of 20-50% of Orks force benefited Imperium far more in the long run.

In lore battles are much more brutal. That admiral probably had a battlegroup three or four times of what you can get in Bfg. And probably most of the kills were escort level ships
These videos are amazing and so much better now with all this amazing art to accompany it, thanks Arch!
1 HOUR ARCH LORE VIDEO?! ALL PRAISE THE GOD EMPEROR!
That was BRILLIANT Arch. Thanks very much for this series. I am very much enjoying your delivery of it. MORE PLZ :-D
Of course, the stations around the outskirts were probably destroyed by several ork battle ships warping into them. It most likely did more damage than the guns would have!
Mechanicus: So you have somting verry verry verry big that Goes boom verry verry loud..... Lets stick it to a tank
Again, thank you so much for making these videos Arch. I'm pretty well versed on 99% of 40k Lore as a fellow lore geek, but I still love your videos simply because your commentary is not only concise and educated, but also hilarious. Please keep making these lore videos! Also please let us know if/how we can donate to help your channel thrive. I would gladly donate and I'm sure most of your subs feel the same way!
Are you going to talk about the new 8th edition lore and the new book Dark Imperium?
The Death Corps of Krieg may fight well in Armageddon right?
Maybe they can find in a second home.
I love your story telling style, keep it up you keep me interested and busy. More of this please
Can you please make a lore on the Dreadnoughts?
ITS CALLED A VOID WAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!
Are you sure it's not a void in the wag spelled like this wwwwwwwwaaa........aaaaaagggg
Going to be a bit of a snob here,,, But how dare you compare the Eternal Crusader as a mere battle barge!
Arch! Is there any chance you would do some lore on 8th edition?
My Tralala MOAR LORE
Adeptus Kekstodes,
NO! Everyone uses the EoM as an excuse to be as big a dick as possible. A lot like God. Remember the EoM is a little busy keeping the Warp from [flooding] Holy Terra and being.. well... not entirely dead or alive.
In the grim darkness of the present there is only Age of Sigmar.
I hope you catch the cancer. Oh wait! You play Age of Shitmar.
well emperor has been on the golden toilet 10000 years and all of his loyalist sons disappeared with out a trace and 10000 years later Robert comes along says dad I'm home and emperor might be even more pissed that he came back 10000 years later after so much shit went down he cares he just fucking pissed
Nice video !
the only time a ork cant attack more is when its dead.
Unfortunately for the brave admiral, the loss of sixty ships is nothing to an ork WAAAAAAGH! =p
an hour long video from Arch? today is a good day
Spacehulk: made of whatever the fuck.
That joke about the comparison between a Lada and a Ferrari is brilliant.
Because a Lada can survive a nuclear strike, while a Ferrari can barely survive a common parking session. Brilliant!
Also, I am indeed re-watching the entire Armageddon series a year later and posting a comment on the video. Brilliant!
Its very gratifying seeing an arch video with half a million views
At this point if Games Workshop wants to do something unique with an Orc Campaign they need to come up with one where the Orks fight out numbered for a change.
Thank you for entertaining my mind while i work. Cheers!
This new series is fucking awesome!
arch my mechadendrites are happy to hear about this war.
your videos are best to listening when painting.
Great series loving it so far and all of your 40k is great keep up the great content and the way you get your points across makes me laugh
Love these vis Arch , keep up the good work.
A Nova Cannon in surface combat!? Holy shit, if that isn't overkill I don't know what is. Those things can gut light cruisers, I shudder at what one of those would do to ground targets!
4 years late, but have you watched Helsreach? He animated it pretty great...
@@JennyGormanRitter"Engine... kill" *Everyone within 25 km goes blind*
@@TheGreatThicc pretty much but it was great lol
Hour long Arch Lore video....this is a good day.
Angry power armored little muffins.
An apt description of the Imperial Fists.
personal theory that I believe is that they mad the jump into system as well as they did because the orks believe so much in da boss
HEY! I'll have you know, my gramps' old Lada was a very sturdy and highly reliable piece of work that worked perfectly fine for over three decades! A more appropriate low end comparison vehicle would be a Moskvich.
Somehow i get the feeling that im sitting on a chair on terra in the emperium of man and im watching a tv show
6:09 Planet Name "Mannheim"
Is that (besides being named after one of the heroes of Armageddon) a reference to the german city of Mannheim? Because this is WHERE I ACTUALLY LIVE :D
It's because GW writes the Steel Legion with considerable inspiration from WW2 Germans in terms of tactics, names, etc. So GW decided to use a Germanic name for the Titan Princeps who sacrificed himself in the first Ork war, and the monitoring station was subsequently named in his honor.
Love it! :D
Episode 2: Da Returnz of da Orkz! xD
5:43
You'd be forgetting another simple fact.
They are Orks!
If ure plannin da biggezt and baddezt invasion ever, of course you needz da best opponent, o'wise it wudn't be a proper scrap wud it?
Loving the Armageddon lore arch keep it up
I love these war lore videos keep it up arch
Right off the bat, Angron theoretically attempts to sneak in Arch's office, but Arch no Bad boy get the f### out!
damn mate, i'm now as drunk as fuck (casual friday), i love your videos especially your 40k lore videos, even though i'm not a gw slave.
But your anticipation on this theme is just outstanding, love your humor especially your dark (scepitacal) humor which is just a bless. I can just call GG on your videos.
With best regards Sebastian koehler
P.S.: Sorry for my grammar, i am a german therefor i try to get perfection

Now for the time when Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka came back to Armageddon for another go. (Orks can either win, die fighting or run away to have another go later) | 0:10 - KHAN!!! (echoes) | 5:02 - It's because he left quite an impression on him, he knew how to fight...he's an Ork, normal logic doesn't apply. | 20:10 - That must've given the speed freeks something to do. | 23:08 - Yeah, it's THAT event, like how the life eater virus got there. | 23:25 - A successor chapter of the Imperial Fists that HATES psykers. | 30:00 - Don't you mean "and only Gork and Mork alone would know"?...he's the prophet of the WAAAGH! | Ork ships are either "Kill Kroozers" or Space Hulks. | 48:04 - Wasn't it Ciaphas Cain who said "underestimating the Greenskins is a fast root to the grave? (or most likely their stomachs)" | So this is Part 1 of the 2nd Ork invasion?
Of all the technologies of human construction the 2 things that absolutely cannot fall into orc hands are Duct Tape and WD-40. If the orc power of “if we believe it therefore it works” were to combine with the slogans “duct tape and WD-40 fix everything” and “when in doubt, duct it” the imperium would never be able to defend itself against Orc space hulks or any large machinery again.
Nova Cannons, when a bainblade is to small and an exterminatus is to big
Damn you, Diomedes. I will never be able to take the word "Baneblade" serious again D:
Glory to the Emperor’s exquisitely cute ears!!!
And also The Black Templars!!
Oh and also Arch
How the hell do you only have 216k followers?! Keep up the good work!
Arch made a funny. Hey man that was pretty good @ around the 30 second mark
This is soooo good !!
It is good that orks warped this way in. Imperium would not had benefited much from extra day of preparation or so. Loss of 20-50% of Orks force benefited Imperium far more in the long run.
This is the great content I subscribed for
It is not weekend before Arch has spoken!
You just have to love the Orks for being so stupid, yet so effective
Good old Arch. You need to make a full on history channel. Just need a little budget for some animation you could make anything interesting. Keep up the good work!
