Dave PLEASE encourage your kid to adopt. There are SO MANY ANIMALS that need forever homes. Especially after Covid- when ppl had to return to work- they no longer wanted the responsibility of being a pet owner; sad sad sad but very true. You could even look at fostering, prior to adoption, to see if the dog is a good fit. Usually there are rescue groups specifically for breeds, but then also smaller local rescue groups as well. The breed specific, will have LONG waitlists. Please Please consider this approach, and not buying from a breeder. No offense breeders. It really is the way to go. - Thats it… With Love to the Adhd Dave Family- Ingrid - ( aka “The dog whisperer” lol ) Wilmington NC 🐾🐶
@@glitterwitch718 I got a pure bread Lhasa Apso puppy that was a breeder reject. I got her from a rescue that specializes in the poor puppies that aren't perfect enough to make the breeder money. They usually just kill them so they won't cost money. Monsters! Lily was the best dog I ever had and she was my companion for 15 years.
Thanks everyone… for supporting my comment left for Dave & family. Hope he sees it and reframes their possible process for adding a new FurFamily member. 😊🥰
I see your Garfield popcorn bucket and it reminded me to thank you for teaching me about them (limited edition popcorn buckets). I got the Garfield one, had them put the popcorn in another bag and listed the bucket (even took pics for the listing at the theater). It sold today for $40.79 + ship. I don't care what anyone says, Dave. You're not useless (joking people)!
What helps me with my pile is to put it in totes. When it comes time to list, I grab a tote and list it or get rid of it. That way I don't only list the good stuff. It saves me time and it helps get the lower profit items listed.
I'm full-time & I shipped daily @ 3:00 pm. I pre-list Monday & Tuesday then I drop 5/10 items per day. This leaves me more free time for family & sourcing. It's all about organizing, I also have a rule this year if I purchased anything it has to be listed within 24 hours unless it's a bulk buy.
That's funny to hear that. A few months back, I went to a yard sale and purchased a Nightmare Before Christmas glass set for $5. Went to get an oil change that day and one of the workers saw it in my car and I sold it for $30. Doesn't hesitate to sell on the spot sometimes.
Please consider adopting from a shelter, there are so many animals that need homes and can give you so much love. Save the life of some baby that didn't have a choice on being in the shelter and may loose their life.

I am a part-time or 'side gig' reseller. I schedule 3 listings for 4am every day, so if I schedule 15 on one day that gives me 5 days etc. My goal is $250 a month, but I have averaged $700 this year!
That clear knob door handle with old glass when it was exposed to sunlight it would turn a purple color. So at one point & time both sides were clear but after years of direct sunlight onenside turned purple. Fun fact.
I see so many comments about #adoptingadog and I absolutely agree. I don't have the time unfortunately but I would adopt first. There are so many pets that need a happy home. If you get a chance? Watch some good puppy movies before you go pick one... All Dogs Go To Heaven ❤🐕🐶🐩🐕🦺🐾
Part of the reason I prepackage most items is so I always know the exact shipping costs by using the shipping calculator. Never get surprised that way.
Dave do NOT buy a dog from an over priced breeder. Yes there are good breeders, but for every good one there’s probably 10 bad ones and buying from either supports breeding. ADOPT! Please! So many dogs need homes.
Thought I was the only one that thought that way. When Buying I see all the value. But when going through the pile I am like....yeah that is worthless onto the next. Keep Pushing
Hi Dave, I do buy a pretty wide variety of items to resell on eBay however when it comes to shipping supplies I stick just a handful of sizes that I can use over and over again. So when I'm creating my listings I already know what box it is going to go into and I just put those dimensions on there. Sometimes I'm able to cut down the box and save a little bit on shipping. There are those occasions where I do buy items where I don't have a box and need to create one and in that case I usually add 2 inches to the dimensions of the item. For action figures in the box I have oversized padded poly mailers. What I do is wrap it three times in bubble wrap and then put it in one of those. I've been doing that for years without any issues knock on wood.
Don't forget to pull that golf club. You make me nervous for you when you do stuff like that. You can always source at estate sales and community church sales and stuff, aren't they indoors where it will be cooler?
Dave, you can date any lamp (or any other electrical device for that matter) by looking at the end of the plug- as long as it's original. Wish you would have shown the plug in the video. Stay safe! Mike
What timing! Yesterday I literally came across a hurricane lamp shade (the bigger kind) at a thrift store and thought...that's pretty, I should look it up. Found the exact same one on Etsy, sold for $107. Bought it for $7. I got it listed this afternoon, so we'll see... It's 15" wide, so maybe I should list it on Marketplace so I don't have to ship it. Hmmm.
Nooo! Not Marketplace?! Im not a fan, tbh. I just shipped, a 49” curved screen monitor, from NC to Michigan. Me being the thrifty one… built my own box, took 6 hours- (with no breaks probably 1- lol- it was 100+ degrees in my garage) Anyway- it was delivered yesterday… AND IT ARRIVED SAFELY! By doing this- worked out a deal prior to, I made the sale! It was for parts only, my cost was zero. Had I purchased a box… 60-70 was cheapest i cld find- FOR THE BOX. Shipping was $75 - UPS Ground (my rate via Pirate Ship due to massive size & weight). I wax SO FREAKING EXCITED when buyer msgd to say Idk how, but WOW! Probably best moment in past 10 yrs reselling. My point… other than some self gloating(lol) You can do it!! Im sure there are tons of videos showing how to pack, on YT. Just remember, if you throw the box, it needs to be safe inside. Thats always my thoughts, when packing fragile items. Id probably float it, imo. Sorry for the long winded reply on your comment… 🤣 I too have ADHD🤣🤷♀️ Good Luck!!
I just share my closet three times a day morning luncheon night. You can go in there and do a share of followers then check available items. And click select all and scroll all the way down and keep scrolling till it selected all of your listings. Then you can just let it run in the background sharing. But you have to do it on your computer because if you do it on your phone if your phone goes to sleep then it stops sharing. I’m not gonna pay someone to share my closet three times a day.
Tools are not cheating for meeting your listing goals. That's the point of the technsports model. Niche down to items that are easy to list and acquire in your area no matter if you are not passionate about what it is.
You might even be able to get a replacement from Scentsy for the Alice in Wonderland warmer. And even if not, you should be able to sell it without it.
I knocked the ear off one of the trail of painted ponies last week when I was packing it up. That was a sad cancellation. a while back I had an Italian pottery jug that was really cool with a demon like head/stopper. My son thought it looked so cool and picked it up, by the stopper and the jug went crashing to the ground. Bye-bye 120.00 jug. My son has Down syndrome, so he wasn't being careless, just curious and didn't know any better. I did list just the stopper and it sold for 20 or 25, so the same could be the came for your warmer.
