You can (inverse) the center colum with the ball head!!!!!
Another nice video. I am amazed at how you can spot wonderful things to photograph in the middle of nowhere. I am still working on that. ;-) You had mentioned that it hurts to put your knees on the salt. I went out there with my camera and I put my knee on the ground. The salt cut a whole in my jeans. Haha. BTW it is 600 feet below sea level. I don't know if you saw that sign on the hill that shows the actual sea level mark. It was nice to see your wife out there. I look forward to your next video. Nyall
Hi Nyall, that salt got into everything. My shoes, my camera bag...it took forever to get it out! It is worse than sand. Thanks for the comment!
@@TimShieldsPhotography I tried a sand dune photo at Pink Coral Sand Dunes State Park in So. Utah. I didn't think to cover my equipment. I dropped my tripod in the sand. My camera is fine but the tripod will never be the same. LOL. Take care.
Get yourself a Hoodman Loupe. And some sensor cleaning swabs 😂
Yeah totally agree. I spotted that huge dust spot after this trip. sigh...
Hate to be that guy, but I cringe as you crush the salt formations and ruin it for the next bloke.....
