Great points, the fact that the bundelsiga title is treated as an expectation rather than a goal has really messed with Bayern, and their fans perspectives. People don't get it right. As a German Bayernfan I can assure you - Thomas Tuchel is the MAIN problem, but not the only one. Half our pool nts this season we're pure luck. Tuchel plays a system that fits not a single player on the pitch. Müller, De Ligt, Tel.. Well performing players are left out of the starting11 constantly and Tuchel obviously does not care about the players he has. But the team also is burned out and completely broken apart. Tuchel is the problem that needs to be solved, but the team also needs to be absolutely mixed up in the summer!

You do realize how many injuries bayern got? Almost all within unlucky moments in games. De ligt, upa, Laimer, guerreiro, coman, gnabry... Then the unfortunate stanisic, pavard thing. What Tuchel maybe didnt do too well was adapting a little better to His not good cadre. BUT you cannot install de ligt if hes injured. Central mids are all offensive and not strong in defense forcing an over reliance and the center backs from which 2 were not even available all the time. A Kimmich thats too busy thinking about himself but the team. Davies who is halfway done with bayern and these major fuck ups on the transfer market (e.g. palinha etc.) I also wonder how adaptable are these players really? People say play with Tel, play with müller, re build Kimmich etc. But this squad is not the same anymore. Müller is what 34 ? He cant be relied on to carry bayern. Also musiala is on his spot too. Even if tuchel wanted to incorperate kane better etc. i dont think the squad is flexible enough. The routeniers want to play their old stuff and the new ones feel out of place. Its not 2020 anymore.
In terms of the title, Hollywood FC never left. It just was in PSG the past 10 years and may still be, but it’s shifting over back to Bayern. Before that it was at Real Madrid in the 2000’s.
"You can't blame him for trying new things" True. But a great coach accepts when his matchplan has failed and adapts to the opponents clearly superior setup, which Tuchel didn't (or at least did too late). After 20 minutes it was pretty obvious that Alonso outcoached him, with one Leverkusen player was "happy when we saw the starting 11. It meant they feared us".
I’ve been a Bayern fan since 2003 and I can easily say this is the most misguided I’ve seen my club in all my years supporting them. Much like Jose, Tuchel is a great short term manager that can get results, but over the course of the second season, things tend to fall apart. Tuchel’s footballing vision has never been in line with Bayern’s due to philosophies. This dilemma, rather a downfall, actually started back in 2020. When Bayern’s hierarchy sat back and let then sextuple winning Hansi Flick and then sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic go to war over transfers. That was the first of the dominoes began to fall. Hansi’s request were nowhere near that of Tuchel, but the board shut him down and out every single time. Tuchel has always been “my way or no way”, and ever since joining Bayern it’s more evident. He keeps reverting back to U shape formations in attack and doesn’t bring much innovation to in game situations. To then further keep putting established players under the bus for his own shortcomings isn’t the Bayern way of doing things. Sure the players haven’t been up to par either, but the coach is the one who picks the team and he puts his own pride over what’s objectively best for the team. Nagelsmann maybe tinkered too much in moments, but with Tuchel, he most definitely tinkers too little. The longer Tuchel stays in the job, the further Bayern gets to the point of beyond repair. The club has supported him in the transfer market more than any of our coaches in recent history and yet he still puts his interests first. I’ll always give managers time, but the difference this year has made is completely disgraceful. 100% Tuchel out
I am really glad, that Bayern are finally struggling. I've watched way too many times Bayern winning the Bundesliga and the first time since a decade watching the fight for the top is enjoyable. Additionally I think its well deserved for what they have done with Nagelsmann. Nagelsmann was still in every competition and yet the upper management and media were never satisfied.
Yeah, this is the only season it feels like Bayern are worried about their competition. If Dortmund was top of the table rn, Bayern would just wait for them to collapse and sneak in to win the league. But leverkusen bring a different swagger.
You know when Thomas Tuchel had a strained relationship with PSG hierarchy, I put that down to PSG just creating a toxic atmosphere. But then there was Tuchel's strained relationship with Boehly and Clear Lake with his sudden firing that lead to question Tuchel's attitude. Now with what's going on at Bayern Munich, I am definitely in the camp that thinks Tuchel is problematic and chances of working for another big club are going to be few and far between.
Seems logical, but I disagree. Tuchel won the ucl at Chelsea with on mediocre squad. He had a big personality and wants things his way. Big club admin/player power can be a problem for either of these. Doesn’t mean he isn’t top quality
@1237barca I totally agree that Tuchel managed to win the UCL with a mediocre Chelsea team and when he was at Dortmund I was a fan of him. However something has definitely changed in him, whereby his last few games at Chelsea were some of the most drab football being played. We would have presumed him taking over Bayern Munich and getting the players he wanted would see him content. However his breakdown in relationships with Kimmich, De Ligt, and Goretzka shows that there is a problem with his personality. When Raphael Honnegstein being informed by someone in Munich top brass that Tuchel has a personality problem, you have to accept that any Big club needing a manager would definitely think twice about hiring him.

Great video man! You really managed to look at this whole situation from multiple perspectives instead of just throwing around assumptions. I really respect that
I think they lack mentality Monsters on the field. Players like Robben, Ribbery, Lewandowski were world-class footballers, but also extremely ambitious. The only players I think have that kind of ambition are Kimmich and de Ligt and they're completely insecure at the moment and aren't performing.
Make a three-part video about the history of Johan Cruyff before his arrival as a player in the FC Barcelona club, his contribution to the club and the history after his arrival. In the first part, keep the history of the Barcelona club until his arrival, the heritage status. The third part is the same, only after his arrival. The next and the second video will mainly be about his performance as a player, managing the club as a manager and overall what happened to his contribution to the club. I would like to see a series like this.
In my view, it's a very similar situation to PSG in France: Bayern are so powerful and financially dominant that they've paradoxically... set themselves up for failure. Winning the league is not enough when you are this richer than your domestic rivals and able to poach their talent, so any time you're not top of the league it's like a disaster. For all of the issues with Nagelsmann and Tuchel both of them had collected a reasonable number of points in the league at the time when trouble erupted, but this is a team that simply can't accept 2nd place. That's bad both for the league and for the club itself. The league becomes less competitive, there are more dead rubber fixtures and both PSG and Bayern end up struggling in Europe because they are used to playing meaningless domestic games. The club's players enjoy way too much power. They've undermined every single manager that came after Guardiola - aside from Heynckes and Flick who were there a short time - simply for petty reasons such as "Pep was better" and "training sessions are not intense enough". Muller in particular is one who stinks up the place, but Sané and Kimmich look like they have a lot of negative influence too. Bayern last season looked a lot like Juventus 2019-20: a team that won the league mostly through the mistakes of others while playing very poorly. 4 years of misery followed for Juventus, although I don't expect that to happen with Bayern in a league with such low competition.
Fan from Bochum here, great video and sound analysis bro. I'm still smiling nonstop from this incredibly hard-faught victory. Even with everyone rightfully criticizing Bayern right now, I find it somewhat baffling how unfamiliar Bayern-fans and personnel are with the feeling of losing, to the point that three losses are THAT much of a crisis. They now might get to experience the feeling of being a real football fan with peaks and valleys throughout seasons. Finally I agree with you that Tuchel doesn't do himself many favors in his interviews. I always appreciate an emotional coach, but the way he basically said 'If we played this match 10 more times, we'd win 10 times.' and 'it was just murphy's law, everything that could've gone against us, went against us.', going on to say Upamecanos elbow wasn't a penalty, talking about xG... from a Bochum-fan's perspective, it came across very unlikable and conceited to not be given any credit by him for the incredible fight Bochum put up.
I think we need episode about the failure that is Napoli in this season. They sacked Walter Mazzari and Francesco Calzona is now third coach in current season. From winning the league to being in absolute chaos is unbelievable.
It never stopped being Hollywood FC. However, unlike Hollywood they produce consistently good results, whilst reinvesting to keep the machine going. Over the last 20 years more and more die hard Bayern fans emerged, that always loved the club even when they were the underdogs like 50 years ago. I'm really bad at maths so I never dare to question when 20 something year olds tell me that... Totally love for the sport, totally not influenced by well-made marketing . And of course there are very few, if any, Bayern fans that enjoy cheering for them because they just figure the chances that they will win titles is much bigger than with any other club in Germany xD
Going undefeated while winning the title is a much bigger accomplishment than setting the points total record. It is even a bigger accomplishment seeing that Leverkusen are doing it with a squad that has a total of 1.1 million Euros of weekly wages compared to 5.2 million Euros weekly wages for Munich. It is a much bigger upset than Leicester City (739k per week) winning the league over the biggest spender of MC (2.4 million per week) as Munich have a wage bill that is 4.7 times higher than Leverkusen vs when Leicester did it when MC only spent 3.4 times more. It is time to bring in a salary cap into football as well as doing away with these silly transfer fees. Do it like they do in American sports. Trade or sign when the contract is over/free agency…

In my opinion Tuchel has every reason to be angry with both his players and the management. Kimmich and Goretzka definitely haven't been showing the quality necessary to compete with high level clubs and that was prior to Tuchel. Tuchel immediately recognized that and demanded a holding 6 before the transfer window even started. He received supplementary players at best. He had to start with a smaller bench and aside from Kane no added quality. However he still managed to make his team perform at least a little better until the winter break. Afterwards most players simply couldn't perform at the top of their game. Injuries, bad luck and the press certainly didn't help. However Kimmich seems to be the player responsible for the bad mood in the team. He never played worse than this year, his interviews and his mood on the pitch certainly speaks volumes and he resented Tuchel for pointing out that a holding 6 is missing - a position he falsely considers himself to be. The quote from Tuchel may be fabricated but I wouldn't have blamed him for saying it because it true.
8:14 you spoke too soon mate 😅 • Players still behind Thomas Tuchel: Manuel Neuer, Raphaël Guerreiro, Jamal Musiala, Leroy Sané, Harry Kane, Eric Dier • Players against Thomas Tuchel: Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Thomas Müller, Matthijs de Ligt, Mathys Tel, Serge Gnabry [@BILD]
I hate the fact when everything seems to be heading in a bad direction our focus and attention is on the manager rather than the staff and the players, if they preform poorly yes the manager needs to take some fault but genuinely what is going on with the training staff and the players that makes them play so poorly, most certainly why the hell is Upa still a starter? Should've had kept Lucas to do the job as well in the back
Bayern's reign in germany is a snowball of competence, they've been exprrtly using their success as leverage to poach their opponents and thus widen the gap while reinforcing their own team. The problem is that losing momentum can easily snowball in the other direction, bad results making bayern a less attractive team and allowing adversaries to catch up.
The seed of their downfall started in the 18/19 season when Kovac was in charge. Dortmund being the specialist of failure threw away the title and the following season Frankfurt smashed them 5-1 spelling the end of Kovac. Flick steady the ship and went on to secure the sextuple in 2020 and that same year Brazzo and Khan were part of the board. Brazzo and Khan screwed over Flick and Nagelsmann and they got rid of them. Bayern Munich barely retained the Bundesliga title thanks to Dortmund pissing it away and Brazzo and Khan got fired immediately after the final whistle went. Tuchel didn't cover himself in glory when he alienated half the squad and doesn't play the Bayern Munich way. Speaking of the squad player power became a thing when Ancelotti was in charge and it has gotten so worse that the senior players are too powerful that managers can't handle them. Bayern Munich needs a rebuild and it starts by firing Tuchel.
Tuchel is right with his complains about the Midfield. There are a lot of players said to be good but only view are fighting with passion. The solution shouldn’t be to sac the Trainers. They have to exchange the Midfield
as a Dortmund fan I am enjoying this as much as you can guess :D yeah we have our own problems. big problems. but seeing Bayern fail always makes me smile. all the best to Leverkusen. they have been so close to winning the league a few times and now they more than deserve it
We can't really tell the coach how to do his job. Perhaps the squad resonates with the statement, if true, seeing as to how even Muller came out criticising his teammates. My opinion, though, is that Julian's sudden sacking hit them hard. That, plus perhaps a missing number 6, is causing troubles on the field. However, given Julian's sacking, they are pros and should get over it if they are hangover. Bayern always seemed like a strange club for me. For a very big club, the players have always seemed to have too much power. Perhaps this was the first time when they realised that this just wouldn't be the case anymore after such a long time.
Perception is an interesting thing. Yes I know we are talking about Bayern and they're used to being in top always, and yes you know, 27 shots and not much to show for that and all the rest. But then consider we are also talking about a club that is not in the relegation zone, not mid-table or even in danger of missing a UCL spot, but rather in second place in their league, pretty comfortably at that with a four point cushion. I am a BVB fan and we are quite a ways off the top or even second right now; the media doesn't have us in dire straits at least not like Bayern. We are left to just quietly find our way. For the record, I am excited for Leverkusen. I think it's great to see them come out of the blue and crush it.
I knew Bayern was done when they played against United in the ucl this season. Sure, they won both games but they conceded 3 goals in the first game and scored just one goal in the 2nd match and the crazy part is that they were in complete control in both games.
The problem in the Leverkusen game wasn't being "carved wide open", it was that the new formation left them toothless in attack. 1.23 xG allowed away to Leverkusen is very respectable; 0.7 xG for is not.
Cheers, mate! You forgot one important point: For all neutral fans and supporters of other clubs this is the best time for a long long time plus the media always enjoys chaos in Munich...
I think you forget to name the main culprit in our situation. And that is Hasan Salihamidžić. With Kahn, he has been mismanagement at FC Bayern for years. Wrong squad compilation, And the most important leading players have not been adequately replaced. In addition, players who do not perform receive far too high salary payments. Like Bouna Sarr and even the high ranked players like Sane, Goretzka und Gnabry (Even if he is currently injured) And I haven't even started with Thomas Tuchel
I'm not even going to lie, umpamecano's performance in the UCL Last season against city was just puzzling to say the least. If he keeps on playing like this, when a new manager comes to Bayern, chances are he's either going to be sold. OR he's going to warm the bench for good, don't get me wrong he's an incredible player when he's in form, but right now, I don't even know what to say.
Bayern in crisis is downright refreshing. German football needs it. Club monopolies in football are becoming a big problem in Europe from Man City to PSG to Bayern to Madrid. Top competitions need a shake up and new winners to keep the sport interesting.
Naggy sort of deserved being sacked: 1) ski trip after being told no skiing since neuer got injured that way 2) Ex leaked all of Bayern’s plans and dirt to her tabloid 3) being out of touch with the senior palyers
I think we are reading too much into the Bayern case. Bayern's record so far is still fantastic; but Leverkusen's is better. It is not written anywhere that Bayern will perpetually be the best.
Bayern Munich fans are something else, the standards of their team are ridiculously high, even when they are at the top they still want more, one slightly poorer season than the rest and it's all chaos.
Tuchel is a terrible coach who has never won anything outright. He’s always been hired at the end of campaigns and reaped the benefits of the previous manager and team.
Tuchel won Games with Mainz. Dont think even Guardiola could pull this off. Bayern‘s Team was trash with Nagelsmann as well so it doesnt really cost them championships I‘d say while it‘s true that Nagelsmann was fired for no real reason. Imo bayerns problem is their finished players, Not either of the last two managers.
Actually he is not bad at tactics, his man management skills however are terrible. He must have like a cardboard box personality, mathematical coldness, bah!
Nagelsmann got fired in the middle of a Champions League run just for Tuchel to last a season and a half 😂...life lol. But memes and jokes aside, its just unfortunate the timing of it all. Coz Bayern have been having issues upstairs since even before either Nagelsmann or Tuchel were appointed. So they probably would have been in this same position with Nagelsmann since Xabi Alonso's Leverkusen is playing historically good but that whole short term boost they were going for with Tuchel didn't pan out. I think Bayern figured they could have done what Chelsea did and basically have a short term boost maybe win a trophy or two and then blow it all up. Similar to what happens with Conte teams. Great watch as always and loved the nuance in the video. Coz Tuchel has been bad vibes for them but he'd have comfortably beat challengers from previous years, he just happens to be bringing bad vibes whilst up against a relentless Leverkusen.
Bayern needs to chill tf out. 2 weeks ago they weren`t even a bad team. They were playing one of their best seasons of the last years and the only reason they were not top of the league is because of Bayer Leverkusen currently being arguably the best team in Europe. I think they collectively threw away their whole mentality after or even during the Leverkusen game instead of just accepting that they will not win the Bundesliga this season and bounce back next year.

Tuchel is the problem that needs to be solved, but the team also needs to be absolutely mixed up in the summer!
thank you!! I'm done with ppl defending TT like are they even following Bayern? that man is just destroying the club from within
@@mananghildiyal2675 That's ridiculous. He is just the coach and the coach has no power at Bayern. The fish smells from its head, as germans say. Clueless businessmen are ruining the club
Davies who is halfway done with bayern and these major fuck ups on the transfer market (e.g. palinha etc.)
I also wonder how adaptable are these players really?
You forgot Man Utd under Woodward when he tried to create his own galacticos by throwing 💰 at players di Maria, pogba etc
Now it’s bayern’s time
As a Bayern fan I like how you describe topics around the club very well. Keep it up!
"You can't blame him for trying new things"
True.
Jose at Bayern would be a menace to society bro
Crime againts humanity
100% Tuchel out
EXACTLY
I am really glad, that Bayern are finally struggling. I've watched way too many times Bayern winning the Bundesliga and the first time since a decade watching the fight for the top is enjoyable.
Additionally I think its well deserved for what they have done with Nagelsmann. Nagelsmann was still in every competition and yet the upper management and media were never satisfied.
Yeah, this is the only season it feels like Bayern are worried about their competition. If Dortmund was top of the table rn, Bayern would just wait for them to collapse and sneak in to win the league. But leverkusen bring a different swagger.
Ye Dortmund always struggle with inconsistent performances. Last season I was half expecting them to fuck it up.@@pstratos7
Very interesting and valid POV
@@1237barcamediocre???? He had havertz werner ziyech kante. The team was maybe not as good as man city but still it was good. I also he got lucky in final. Up till then man city were known choke artists

Great comment.
This channel is so underrated.
Tuchel didn’t even say that quote.
Tuchel never actually said that quote in the opening.
Enjoying watching your videos since finding you recently - you’re a cool dude!
1:12 😂 had me there for second
Profesional football watcher, loved that 😂
As a Dortmund fan. Hoping for them to continue slipping. Enough that Dortmund and Stuttgart can overtake them 😂 Bayern in 4th or 5th would be WILD. But that's a near impossible dream
bayern failing might be more likely than dortmund winning enough to surpass them though.

@@6ch6ris6 oh I know. The odds are so far off it's not worth thinking about. But I'm just hoping for it lol. But that also requires us to trust terzic to not fuck up. Which I have zero expectations for.
@@j.jsamra i dont even blame Terzic too much. He should give Mouki more chances, but other than that, what is he suppose to do? He is not a magician. The squad is just mediocre this season. Losing Bellingham was worse than losing Haaland. Nmecha was bad most of the time he played and now he is injured.
Exactly!

Only Jose Mourinho can save Bayern Munich like he did when he Real Madrid
7:50 what a psychopath hahahaha

In the end this is a very good thing for the Bundesliga. Bayern Munichs dominance for decades was detrimental to the financials of the other teams.
Tuchel is right with his complains about the Midfield. There are a lot of players said to be good but only view are fighting with passion. The solution shouldn’t be to sac the Trainers. They have to exchange the Midfield

Franz Beckenbauer died and took Bayern’s greatness to the grave
"Professional football watcher" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
It was shortsighted and narrow minded of Bayern to sack Nagelsmann. They could've built something with him
The problem in the Leverkusen game wasn't being "carved wide open", it was that the new formation left them toothless in attack.

Like Bouna Sarr and even the high ranked players like Sane, Goretzka und Gnabry (Even if he is currently injured)
And I haven't even started with Thomas Tuchel
It's funny. Here in Australia, finishing second on the AFL ladder is incredible 😂

One day to early. Today Bayern announced that they and Tuchel go separate ways at the end of the season
Ralph Hassenhuttl: I'm still here, Bayern.
Im calling it now, Tuchel will be sacked and will become United‘s next manager.
I mean, he did okay at Dortmund, winning the Pokal and everything but I could be wrong here. I'd be happy to learn more.
Yeah, Chealsea was perfect Hahahahaha

Defend him all you want, he’s already cost you like 5 trophies in his short spell at Munich and they’ll only continue to add up. 😂 he’s rubbish
How's tuchel is still here negelsmen got sacked for less
When we find out in 20 years what was going on behind closed doors it probably still won’t make any sense
Bayern will probably again appoint hansi flick
Short answer, yes. Tuchel is the second man to blame right behind the mugs who hired him.
Harry Kane might need to visit a witch doctor at this point 😂😂😂
…Aaaaand it was just announced Tuchel will now leave Bayern in June. @footballiconic nailed it again.
If Bayern hire Ole to replace Tuchel for the rest of the season, then they are officially the LIVING JOKE
