Dropping 6 points to West Ham and Fulham (actually dropping 5 points against Fulham this season) was awful.
The 0-2 loss to Villa was costly as well. The 1-0 loss in December was forgivable as Villa were in 08/09 Barcelona form but Villa were in awful form in April. I know you were resting for the UCL but you had a better chance of winning the Premier League than beating Bayern at the Allianz.

Arteta has been a full time manager for about 4 years, the board only started to trust him about 3 years ago, and our club is filled with unexperienced players. Meanwhile, our squad still has a lot of deficiencies, like the lack of a proper finisher, we still need a holding midfielder, a backup for Saka, a new left winger, and possibly a new left back (love Zinny but he ain't doing it). If we give Saka at least a proper backup, we bring in a striker, a midfielder and give Trossard Anne Hathaway's phone number, things might improve.

The funny thing about Arsenal bottling up the title race this season is that they also denied the rivals Spurs a chance to play in the Champions League football. A quarterfinal exit to the worst Bayern Munich team in this decade, along with the failures of the other English teams in the Europe, including Manchester City and Liverpool, who were in the title race of this season, denied Premier League's extra spots in the Champions League. In turn, Spurs' losses to Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Chelsea meant that Aston Villa will play in the Champions League, after beating Arsenal twice this season!

After the 0-0 draw between Arsenal and City there were 9 Premier League matches left for both. City won ALL NINE. And Arsenal won eight and lost only one, to Aston Villa. They tripped once. JUST ONCE and it was enough for City to become unreachable.

Stade Brestois are a team that was tipped for relegation when the season began and yesterday they qualified for the Champions League with a 3rd place finish. Not only is it their first time qualifying for Campions League but qualifying for Europe ever since their best ever finish before this season was an 8th place finish in the 1980s. Stade Brestois have only of the smallest stadiums in League 1 and among the smallest budget in the league. Their current head coach Eric Roy was put in charge of the team late last season to save Brest from relegation and he did just that, barely. Then the goal of the team was to stay in Ligue 1 and not get relegated only to have the most successful season they’ve ever had
