There are styles I really appreciate but that simply aren't for me. There are a lot of examples I can give but this often just requires trial and error before you fully know the difference.

Most "men" look their best in their style over any trend. Most of the "timeless" clothing has been worn continuously for over 100 years. Maybe stick to that. Also, trends aren't fashion. They're marketing pushed by manufacturers. It's actually brilliant!
