Both sound pretty good... sounds like the TTL31 have a bit more in the 1.6K-4K region than the HDL6a's. Would you attribute that to the crossover frequencies being an octave lower on the HDL6? Can't wait for the HDL26a demo!
Josh Lyon the crossover point definitely makes a difference. The TT series transducers are a different level. It is crazy. Whenever we match up a TT series and our 96k Midas Pro series consoles it is incredible. We are also looking forward to doing the HDL26 demo as well.
You are correct. We just really don’t have the time to hook up to the stages and move them. It really didn’t have a big impact though on the end result.
Nurul Muhammad both songs are a live 2 track we did from a band called The Wildwood Ruminators. The first is a cover of a Merle Haggard song, and the second is Meet me in New York.
I have 6 of the HDL6a and plan to use three each on the pole mount adapter. Assuming a "flat ballroom" rectangular box room, 60' depth and 40' width, can you suggest a height and angles for the three cabinets?
BlueberrySound it is hard to tell you without being there. You could put the data into shape designer available for free from RCF and then estimate as closely as possible using the pole adapters.
BigHeartedMan65 we would not recommend more than 8 woth flybar on 1 Sumner because you would be close to 600 pounds with cabling rigging etc. Sumner and Genie both do not recommend leaving them up at all when there are strong winds. We have had ours up with 20 mile per hour winds and they did fine but there are a lot of factors. We had the speakers secured from excessive sway as well.
If you watch our HDL28 video you will here the 9004. As far as coverage it is all relative to the venue, what type of music, and how loud you consider covered. With 6 a side we have covered 2500 people with a band that primarily played 70’s dance music. We had them about 22 feet in the air.
centerstage entertainment it depends on what music you have to use them for. If you are going for high fidelity the 31’s. Pure volume we would recommend the 20’s
The 9007’s really are a good match for the HDL50 and even the 30’s sometime. They get extremely low and are still tight to be 21’s but the 18’s definitely shine for live sound with a band.
thanks! had the 8006 and it was missing a entire octave that I was use to hearing with my srx828sp subs so I traded them in for 9006`s and they don't have huge range missing, I like them but I was expecting a little more output compared to my srx828sp but I'm happy with them. I love my 12 hdl6a though no complaints there.@@sweettreeproductions2149
Could you guys do a side by side comparison of the Rcf HDL6-a and HDL10? I am thinking about buying 4-6 of one of them and then growing in the future, but what has a better sound and volume? And could I email you guys for pricing?
I know there are UA-cam copyrights considering the music that you are playing...But still, there are some other songs without copyrights. I follow your channel since you reviewed the first RCF speakers and you are using the same songs since then. It's just a constructive criticism. Great job overall!
It actually helps compare, the song doesn't matter, it is how does the system reproduce it, listen for high hat/snare, pick attack, click on the bass drum, dynamic range etc
Luis Vidal thank you. :) When we are demoing for clients and other purposes we use different material. Sadly with UA-cam’s copyright laws we have tried in the past and had our videos banned because of copyrighted music. I wish you knew who all the musicians in this group have played with, recorded with, and written songs for. It is incredible. We are based out of Muscle Shoals, Alabama 1/8 of a mile from the Famous Fame Studio. If you have time check out the Muscle Shoals documentary it is pretty interesting. We agree the speakers are awesome, and love how they sell themselves.
koolkiwikat We agree. That’s why we mentioned that we usually do better cable management but since it was just the video we didn’t. Elastic tarp ties do very well behind the cabinets to hold the cables together.
koolkiwikat it is interesting. We are glad that the cables come out the sides because we use these for front fills. So our national acts don’t complain about the cables coming out the back as a tripping hazard. As a line array pretty annoying.
Passing often in front of the RCF near home, it is a pleasure to see how much they are appreciated in the world. Good job! Ciao
The TT's sound so much better! Just great!
You guys do good vids...Time to play a new song. come on you all !
HDL6a vs. TTL31?!?!? 😲👍🏻 WAU 🤔 HDL6a 🥰
Huge difference, but both speakers has its place

Military grade! Powerful grid by far, you can never go wrong with RCFs, great stuff man!
Will they make FirPhase for TTL31a?
Hi should the 9006 ventilation cooling be activating even at very low volume, is that normal?
Hey wouldnt having the trucks like that change the overall end sound due to the reflection tunnel that is created from the trucks and trailers?
You are correct. We just really don’t have the time to hook up to the stages and move them. It really didn’t have a big impact though on the end result.
Where can we get that version of that song
We are hoping that the Wildwood Ruminators will release a version soon.
What’s up Bryan? Didn’t know you were on here too!! Subscribed.
Chase'sWKshop just watched your video on the BBender. I’m going to watch all your videos!

@@sweettreeproductions2149 I am trying to find the shape designer but I no longer see it on the RCF website. Is it discontinued?
Question on the Sumner Stands . How High of a wind could they hold up to with 8 to 12 RCF HDL20's hanging from them ?

Would you happen to be or know anyone selling these 6a used?
Not at this moment.
Is rcf 4pro 8003 as good as rcf 8003-AS II? or there's a big difference between the two
We like the original 4pro better. They don’t go as low, but they seam to be more punchy.
what do you think of the 9006 vs the tts56a?
I wish we had more experience with the tts56
How many person can it occupy in this set up?
Do a demo of rcf. 9004 sub as.

I own the RCF TT18A paired with the RCF hdl20s in your opinion what would sound better with the sub the 31 or the 20 thanks

thanks for the rapid response.
Soft and comfortable listening HDL6-A
Fresh, serious, fun listening TTL31-A
What song title?
At RCF HDL 6a. You should add at least vocal plate reverb. To hear more beautiful vocal sound of it.
Hi, did you take spl measurements? What’s the results?
Maxime Desrochers we did not but the TT31’s handled higher volumes clearer. For the price the HDL6 are incredible though.
sounds great... any information on the lifts
Edrick Vernon we mainly use Sumner Eventer 25’s but also use Genies as well.
C'est quoi le nom de musique 🎶 ?
and the ttl 33?
has anyone compared the 9006 to the 9007?
The 9007’s really are a good match for the HDL50 and even the 30’s sometime. They get extremely low and are still tight to be 21’s but the 18’s definitely shine for live sound with a band.

The 31-A sounds more clearly than the hdl6-A that has more mid range response
What yhe song titles ?
It is a band called the Wildwood Ruminators. It was a lovely recording we did at one of their shows.
@@sweettreeproductions2149 Best thank, You are at USA? do you have RCF MB12N351 condition: used/new?
