I had the pleasure of seeing Babymetal in Washington DC on November 15th and they played BMC and because they felt it wasn't loud enough The sound guy cranked the volume up more The whole show is just absolutely f****** amazing
Great song. This was only on the Japanese release of the Metal Galaxy album in 2019 as a bonus track along with 'Up Down Left Right BBAB' which they have never played live. When the song first came out a lot of people really didn't like it - the studio version has a lot of autotune and effects and a lot of those people thought they would and could not perform it live. They were happily proved very wrong. I saw them do this at Hammersmith and they took the roof off (what was left of it after the first few songs).🤘 This is what Su said about it in an interview: SU-METAL: That was my first rap experience. For most of my recordings up until now, I would sing “la la laa” to create a sort of vocal line, and then lyric writing began based on that. But it was different for this track, they had a backing track and lyrics, and then told me to try rapping. So at first I was still trying to figure it out. In hiphop they call it…it was like…ah, I forget! MOAMETAL: Wasn’t it…f-…fall? SU-METAL: Uh…what was it… KOBAMETAL: Flow? SU-METAL: Flow! (laughs) To get a feel for the flow, I made a lot of different attempts to figure out what would be good. Like how to descend and ascend in pitch, and which timing would be the best to try the pitch changes. Even for the same phrase I’d try going a little ahead of the beat or a little bit behind it, while keeping the whole track’s balance in mind." BMC probably means BABYMETAL Cypher (or BABYMETAL Metal Cypher ... a cypher being some sort of rap battle apparently - and the official MV backs this up), but some of us are still holding out for Bring Moa Chicken.🍗 In another interview the first question: Q: "How are you feeling right now?" MOA: "Hungry, I need to eat fried chickens".
Yo Grington, just caught my date with seeing Babymetal a few hours ago, and you’re right, the song goes extremely hard in person. As does Pa Pa Ya, couldn’t feel my arm after that one lol. Was a fantastic show though and well worth the 4 hour drive to it.
Love, love, love this song live. 🙂 Glad you enjoyed it too. What is crazy many songs are amazing live with Babymetal of course, this is just 1 of them.
Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。Kami Band is an amazing squad with musical virtuosity. Chris, CJ, Anthony, 3 bassists (Clint, Ryan, Matt) have been dedicating their energy to BABYMETAL's international activities (including in Japan) long and extensive enough to be called as "our" band. They are amazing knights to protect our queen and princesses.❤ BxMxC is one of the songs that have been frequently played in BM's recent shows. I witnessed this very performance in Legend-MM Day-1 (20 Night). Su's voice and Kamis' heavy play were amazing. My body was shaken by the undulation caused by them. And the dance moves by Moa and Momo hypnotized me into shouting. Su-Metal is singing about some established style that used to be revolutionary and literally "stylish" but has turned already obsolete like an "Illusion of Rusted Chain" (last line of Su's rapping). Lyrics are suggesting breakthrough in or challenge to some status-quo that includes the status of BM itself. We all know that Team BABYMETAL and our three divas have broken it relentlessly. 😍
Hell yeah man. This song is lit! “Intro sounds like a video game” - You should see the MV, it’s set up like a 3 round Mortal Kombat battle. I experienced this live last week and yeah, the crowd goes nuts! #BringMoaChicken 🤣🤘🦊
Fun song! I remember this and PaPaYa being just okay when listening online. At the live shows, though, it’s so so good. Hope you have the chance to see the live someday!

When Su was given the song lyrics, she was told to rap the lyrics. So she did!!!

BABYMETAL | Rondo of Nightmare (w/ Mischiefs of Metal Gods Intro)
Nice reaction. Babymetal are the best at what they do and what they do is Kawaii metal. If you know you know😂

Great reaction and Babymetal does rap cypher to 9 string wonder
My favorite song/performance is "Hangbanger" Legend of 1997 concert. If you react to it I'll tell how old they are.

Dude, your volume levels are ridiculously low. I thought that you said you were a professional musician...
Constructive criticism, stopping every 10 seconds is just annoying.
