    He's doing it because he enjoys it. I love to listen to the rain myself. I dont think you carry too much gear in to camp and even if you do that's your business and no one else's. Their are just some people like to gripe and complain. Just ignore them and enjoy yourself. Stay safe

    Your video is one of the best demonstrations of the most efficient use of a tarp in deep rain camping. I love the way it shelters so much. Many videos show a tarp of only 6’x 8’ft or similar. What are the dimensions of your tarp. Do recommend more rectangular or square shape for your configuration. Once again thank you for a great video!

    • @ComfyOutback
      @ComfyOutback  4 роки тому +12

      Thanks 😀
      The tarp is DD SuperLight XL.
      It is 14.8x9.5 feet.
      I also do not like small tarps, want a large and fix it quite hight from the ground.
      I like rectangle, find it easier to set up then, usually never do anything advanced, just a wall behind and ceiling.
      If I want more protection I use a tent.

    Love the camping fire stand, good way you have set it up - under cover, certainly has plenty of space under cover cool. So tell me plse what type of wild animals in this area. You certainly carry a load on your back, how heavy is the pack Thanks enjoy video

    First time viewer. Enjoyed your clip. Thanks for sharing. Being from coastal Pacific Northwest USA I can so relate to the comforting, life-giving 'songs' of water music. From (my personal favorite) light coastal mist to the steady rythms of the rains and winds. I must ask, can you direct me to the source of your collapsible chair? I purchased one from Amazon supposedly rated for 325#'s. I weigh 170#'s. Sitting in our camp this weekend (also in the light rain) mine cracked at a joint and left me hanging to the side, literally. Yours looks considerably sturdier than mine. I'd appreciate the lead. Good journeys.

      Thanks :-)
      Yes the rain is relaxing.
      The collapsible chair is a older model of this one: www.amazon.co.uk/Robens-490046-Observer-Camping-Chair/dp/B07PGKK4BS
      The only thing i dont like with is is the small feet, they easily sink into the ground.
      Thats way i moded it with larger feet.
      I also have a cheaper one but one of the legs is bent on it.
      The Robens chair is realy sturdy, it can hande my big butt :-)

    Is that terrain typical for Sweden? It would not be my first choice to hike or camp. I assume it is also quite cold.

    • @ComfyOutback
      @ComfyOutback  4 роки тому +1

      Yes, it's probably quite typical for Sweden. Perfect temperature for me about 10C (50f).
      Thanks for the comment 😀

    Fantastic setup mate, great stuff! Love the isolation but still have the comforts you like. The tarp setup is really well done and the sound of the rain is beaut. Really enjoyed this video, more so because we are in lockdown in Melbourne (Oz) at the moment. Thank you!!

      Sound of rain is nice.
      We have not had any lockdown here, must be hard to do nothing.
      Hope this crap is over soon.
      Great to be able to entertain you 🙂
