Sampler Hay Box is definitely a favorite!! Our guinea pigs chewed a door into the box 🤣😂, would run in, or hop in over the sides and were sitting in it😑, so I had to put it in the garage and use an empty sampler hay box with bedding (I only buy Small Pet's soft bedding or with lavender) and orchard hay for their hay box to sit in during the day😊. It wasn't what they ate, it's what they left behind. 😑😉.
2 huge boxes from Small Pet Select arrived today. We all are so happy 😃 that the Sampler Hay Box was included as we'd run out of it. Snoodle was taken from his mom at birth, was in a plastic hamster enclosure, fed pellets. We rescued him planning to find him a home. As he was a wee baby and we had recently rescued a dad and 2 babies, we kept him. Snoodle now is neutered, has Poodle, who was abandoned in a box, and Ariana who was a senior rescue. They happily munch on hay all day in their multiple hay boxes, or the hay in their cages. The boys (Doodle, Pumpkin and Chewbacca) also have a huge hay box and plenty of hay. My buns adore 2nd cut Timothy. After trying a few varieties it was a match made in heaven. I could barely get the box open and packed away into their hay container. Before I knew it they had darted out of their warren and were tiptoeing up to try and snag some bites.

Boy, the information that's available on small critters and dietary needs is incredible compared to what was out there when I had bunnies growing up! We rescued 2 ,one young and energetic,one old , overweight,with digestive problems.The family was overwhelmed and didn't know how to help him. We ordered the sampler first , and Jinxy loved 2nd cut. It was perfect for her,but we tried first cut for Vladimir and wow ! The diarrhea has all but stopped ,and he's lost some extra "baggage." This has upped his energy and he now bounces around behind his younger friend a lot more. Really grateful for the knowledge so that our buns can live their best possible lives !

My mommy says 1st cut Timothy Hay is what she always gets me, and I say I APPROVE!! Now you see, I’m a 3 year old Chinchilla, so I’ve tried my fair share of hay, ya’ll. And let me tell you no one does it like Small Pet Select! The crunch? The freshness? The QUALITY?? As you humans would say *chefs kiss!* I even noticed an improvement in my poops! TMI, I know, but those puppies have never been firmer and in such high quantities. Mommy doesn’t like picking up all the poop, but I sure am happy to make em!! 😜 Not only is their hay the best in taste, quality, and value (whatever that means, human mom has said it before), but their shipping time is always quick and efficient!

My piggies love 2nd cut timothy hay. They love to eat it, burrow in it, poop on it, sleep on it, everything. 😂 Small Pet Select is pawsome. I can tell my piggies love their hay and pellets better than any other brand. I know for a fact my pigs give them 100/10. 🐹
My bunnies loved the alfalfa hay but they are now adults and I buy them the Timothy hay first cut to maintain their weigh and it is the one they eat most of the day and they love the oat hay and I give them about twice a day. I have a emotional support animal that Ive tried so many hays and he refuses to eat hay.I always end up coming back to small pet select because the quality is always the best and my bunny's love this hay the most!I have three rabbits with different needs and one has dental disease where he has trouble eating hay and my and his favorite is the premium ultra soft hay because its easier for him to eat and he loves it.He literally won't eat anything else,thank you for thinking of the special needs buns!

Little Beastie Bun had a very rough start in life, devoid of any hay 🙁, so we were happy to find Small Pet Select! When she first came to live with us, as a treat, we ordered the Gourmet Hay Medley, which had an assortment of hays, dried herbs and flowers, and dried berries. Also included in the box was a nice pinecone, which, to my surprise, she gravitated towards immediately. This led to one of her nicknames, Baby Pinecone. We try to re-order a new pinecone each month. As for her routine hay, she enjoys the 2nd Cutting Timothy Hay. She loves to hop into the box and help herself, or sit on my lap and be hand-fed, especially if I hand-select the best pieces (seed heads for sure). SPS's guidance on all of the different hay qualities always earns us points at the vet, where they are impressed (and probably relieved) that we are feeding her the correct hay. I have 23 Guinea Pigs so we go through a lot of hay! I never knew the difference in the cuts of hay, this was a great video to learn the right choice for all my little fur babies! Thank you Small Pet Select for giving us good healthy choices and educational articles and now videos to keep us always learning about our pets! I love to read all the articles and learn what I can do better to take care of my precious little stinkers!
Recently I became a first time bun mom and i have been doing all i can to give my Billie Jean the best of the best. She was found lost and afraid outside so i took her in. I been trying my best to get her to eat hay but she seems to be quite picky and recently I discovered small pet select and am definitely going to try the sampler box. Based on what i have observed from her i think she is between 3 to 4 months old. Already got her litter box trained and bunny proofed my entire apartment to keep her free roam. I love her so much and she has helped me a lot with my mental health. She really is a blessing in my life 😊
My bunny Honey loves small pets select hay so much! Her favorite out of all the options is the third cutting Timothy hay. She loves this kind because not only is she a spoiled princess, but also because we want her to eat hay and eat the hay she enjoys and loves, so we provide her with third cutting timothy hay. I know for sure that she loves this hay because every time i try to give her a new kind of hay even if its second cutting timothy hay she will not eat it! These are all the reasons my bunny Honey, loves third cutting timothy hay.

I have two free roam bunnies of my own ( both spayed and neutered!) and I'm pretty sure their favorite is 2nd cut hay! Every time I try to fill there hay bag they go crazy and just hop right into the box of small pet select hay lol. Sometimes I just let them have the whole box for a day🤍. I do want them to try all the Hays to see what they like the best! Before I heard about you guys I was using oxbow hay and it was just not the same. My bunnies didn't like it as much and the hay pieces were like dust... But with your hay the pieces are long, thick, beautiful, and yummy for my buns .🧡Also the pieces are so long that they don't fall out of the hay bag and make such a big mess like most hays do!

I work with space coast bunnies in Titusville, Merit island, Melbourne, and Cocoa FL. We catch stray dumped bunnies on the streets and give them food, water, warmth, love, and care in their foster homes until they get adopted ( we don't sell bunnies at easter time though!). We use your hay (because it's just simply the best) to give to our sweet bunnies. I have also gifted your hay to guinea pigs!

My two bunnies first tried 1st cut Timothy hay. It was great quality much greener than store-bought brands. But it was giving me bad allergy reactions, so we switched to orchard grass from Small Pet Select, because it’s kind of hay that is recommended for bunny owners who have allergies. I stopped sneezing at all! I’m so happy with this quality, it really looks very fresh and green and with almost no dust. My buns are enjoying munching on this.
My 14 year old Tori bunny loves 3rd cutting timothy hay. She also loves a little orchard and oat hay and the sampler. It keeps her interested in her hay. She also loves her healthy treats! I love that these boxes are literally a heavenly rabbit buffet. My rabbit's name is Kanna for short, & "Kanna-fur." She is a medium Chinchilla rabbit & turns 3 in October. I have come to notice she's absolutely is in love with the Wafer Cut style of Timothy hay. The thick, stalky consistency makes her feel very furious when she mows it down. Then again, the girl isn't picky. She gobbles anything I serve her. She also takes bites of food from us humans, & makes sure she gets the maximum bite by getting right beside the thumb, scaring my ppl.
My bunny Casper loves 2nd cutting Timothy Hay! It’s his absolute fave! As soon as he sees the box he darts and binkies his way over to it, I seriously can’t open the box fast enough. If it were up to him, he would eat straight out the box and spend his day just spread out living his best life on top of his small pet select hay mountain. Sometimes as a treat he gets to jump in and go crazy. He also loves the alfalfa hay- he gets some sprinkles of it or a crunchy bunch every now and then and he goes wild! You can tell how fresh and green the hay is, it smells amazing, and it’s such a big difference from what you find in big box stores. The quality is above and beyond. Plus! The thoughtful and adorable thank you postcards included in the hay from the employees are awesome! There’s no contest in what hay I choose for my baby, he gets the best and freshest. Plus I can feel good about what I am feeding him because I trust in this company and their product. Diehard lifelong customers and fans!

Hi! I have three rabbits who LOVE the second cut timothy hay! I’ve been ordering from Small Pet Select for over three years now(that’s how old my eldest Rabbit is). I remember so distinctly when my rabbit first tried this hay, it was a very joyous moment. Backstory: We started her off with hay from our local pet store which often came looking very distasteful and feeling very dry. One day i came across a youtube video that strongly recommended Small Pet selects hay so i thought to myself, why not give it a try. When the shipment came and I brought it indoors my rabbit came zooming from my room and straight to the box, that’s the most excited i had ever seen her. We’re a fierce fluffle of 4 rescue bunnies aged 2-10 and we are total hay snobs. We exclusively eat SPS hay and always have!
Currently in our burrow we have 2nd cutting Timmy flowing 24/7. Then for one of our old ladies who needs to keep her strength & weight up, we have alfalfa - which we also used to give the baby right after she was weaned off the bottle. She was a 1 week old orphan found in a trailer park who is now a sassy 2 year old thanks to your nutritional grasses.
We also have some tim+alfalfa hay cubes to keep our teeth healthy & finally some oat hay to mix in and mix it up.
Thank you SPS for being such an important part of our lives and the lives of the bunnies that mom rescued before us. When we’re healthy, mom’s happy and all is right in the burrow.

Small Pet select hay saved our bunny's life. She was going through GI stasis and we had the 2nd and 3rd cut hay, We gave her the 3rd cut hay, which she loves, and she began chowing down on the 3rd cut and got the line moving again. Previously, before discovering Small Pet select, we used other brands that our three bunnies did not eat that well. Now they eat their hay even before any pellets.
Since we are allergic to Timothy hay, we usually look for orchard grass & meadow hay! The SPS orchard grass is BEAUTIFUL! We love it!
My girls are 5 1/2 year old Jersey Wooleys and they love Small Pet Select’s First Cut of Timothy Hay! They have been eating this most of their lives and they love the taste! My little rescue Waffles is both a tripod and has megacolon. She loves her 3rd cutting Timothy hay but her absolute favorite is the Alfalfa I mix in! Her companion bun Benny loves it as well. I consider SPS hay essential to keeping Waffles well. She joined us over a year ago & has been completely healthy & maintained her weight! The selection of treats and chews is wonderful. Pine cones are a big hit and I like knowing they come from a safe source. And I have to add , the few times I’ve needed customer service the staff has been really great. I hands down recommend the 2nd cut timothy hay for adult guinea pigs and rabbits. I have 5 piggies and work at my local pet store and I always recommend Small Pet's hay over oxbow if they want quantity and quality. I started using Small Pet hay back in 2020 and have yet to be disappointed. It has seen my babies grow from little piglets to big Pigs. I think if my pigs could talk they would say thank you!

Love this brand!! I just adopted 2 6month old Mini Lops!! They are littermates named Rascal and Thumper. Thumper especially loves his food so I watch him munch on his Timothy Hay all day... Rascal loves it too of course! My favorite is how excited they get about their hay when I go to replenish their hay. I keep their hay in a large blue bin and when they see it they jump in and out of their letterbox out of excitement! It's so cute. Thank you for all the great information in this video :)
This is awesome! We have a sweet senior chinny 12 years old, and every day, Squeek eats his 2nd cut Timmy. He sits on his ledge and sorts through with his cute little hands to find just the right stem. Every single night it gets scattered everywhere and by morning he is tucked up, feet and tiny hands underneath sleeping peacefully on whatever is left as if he has partied all night at Mardi Gras and is passed out under a lamp post.

So glad to see your uTube channel is up and showing. We have had rabbits in our household for 20 years and they make wonderful pets. Right now our two lops prefer the 2nd cutting hay. Seraphina (my sweet mama bun) and I love the second cutting timothy hay. We mix it in with our orchard grass for a bit extra foraging fun, but I'm allergic so using mostly orchard hay is best for us. For anyone who is allergic to timothy hay, try orchard hay with a bit of timothy mixed in, or if you're SUPER allergic but your bun likes timothy, you can buy some timothy hay cubes from small pet select! they greatly reduce dust and allergins flying around the air, and your animal friend will love the crunchy, treat-like texture. Hello, my name is Pikachu and my mom named me this because I am a Palomino bun! Sort of yellow. 💛☺️ She adopted me when I was a little over a year old! When she found me I lived in a cage and if that wasn’t bad enough! My litter box was way to small for me! In fact, my mom, was actually uneducated on caring for me properly. Don’t worry though, she learned right away how to and changed my life forever! We are actually coming up on my very 1st bunniversary, Sept 20th! Everyday that has gone by in my new forever life with her. She is always researching about my kind to ensure that I have the best life that she can give me! Now that I have shared a little of my life story!
I really enjoy the 1st cut of Timothy hay! I mostly love the nice thick pieces and the occasional soft leaf! My mom provides more than enough hay for me! 😊 For that I am very grateful. It would be pretty cool to win one those big sample boxes though! I am known to enjoy most any hay. 😉

We feed our 7 year old bun Mieke the 2nd cut but she's been losing weight. So much to her delight, we've been giving her the 3rd cut from time to time. She gets so happy that she does circles around me. Love your products- nice looking hay, smells great and almost no dust! When she goes to her godparents while we are on a trip, she gets oat hay because her god mom is allergic to timothy hay. Surprisingly she still eats it- she's very picky and prefers 3rd cut timothy hay. Says something! Being in Hawaii, getting good quality hay is a big challenge. SPS is 100 times better than the stuff we see in the big box pet stores. 5 paws up for SPS.
Jasper is a 3 almost 4 year old netherland dwarf whom I love so much-he’s basically my support bun - his birthday is actually coming up too (in august)!
He’s pretty picky with his food though but he’s fallen in love with your Orchard and Oat Hay! Ever since we started buying your fresh bunny treats, hay, and food, Jasper has been so much happier and healthier

Our favorite type of hay is oat hay. Every night our rabbit, Ducky, gets a cardboard box full of it. While he gets timothy during the day, every night when he receives his daily helping of oat hay, he happily binkies around the room. He gets super excited and immediately buries his head in the box, looking for his special stem. Most of the time all you can see are his ears poking up and his tail sticking out! After gobbling down all the oat hay in his box, he flops out, content and happy.
My family buys small pet select hay for our foster bunnies! (we sort of have a collection of SPS boxes in the garage). They love 2nd cut Timothy and orchard hay. We fostered a bunny with GI issues, so we gave him the 1st cut hay and he started doing much better. We hang up the cute cards that you send on the fridge! I like the second cut best because both my bunnies seem to enjoy the small twigs the most. I've been getting that for them for the past 2 years and they eat it fine which is great for me because now we don't have to buy different ones for both of them. This also helps us save money and less of the hay goes to waste because they eat it all. That's why my biggest suggestion for those of you with more than one baby is to switch out what you give them if they got different preferences because most likely than not you'll be able to find something they all like. In the end a happy bunny makes for a happy fur mommy☺️
I have kept Guinea pigs most of my life,"50 plus year's " l have long been aware of the importance of top quality hay to keep my animals teeth and digestive system in top condition ! I use all three cuts of your hay, but most of my pig's prefer the second cut, so l buy the large 50lB boxes, of 2nd cut, and 10lb boxes of the first and third cut to alternate ! My pig's abolutly adore your Thimathy Hay and there general health and wellbeing refects this! It provides my pig's with the corect ballance of fiber ,protein and fat , keeps there teeth and digestive systems in tip top condition !

We have 3 guinea pigs(Luma,Meatball, and Newt) AND 2 Holland bunnies( Ohana and Gobi). They loveeeeeee the second cut! We have auto ship set up for food, hay and bedding for several years. Only the best for these bundles of joy!! I have been working every day for an hour or more trying to bond the bunnies. It’s been a long journey but getting closer. When my shipments come in it is packaged well and GREEN GREEN GREEN HAY! I don’t order on amazon because it seems brown. The bedding is also soft and easy to work with. They circle the food bowl when I go to feed them. One waits by her bowl for me in the mornings. And I can barely get the 1/4 cup in the bowl around the head of the other. My favorite type of hay for my bunnies is Small Pet Select orchard hay and Small Pet Select 1st cut Timothy hay and 3rd cut Timothy hay.
Orchard hay is perfect for those who may have hay allergies and it was the first hay that got my picky rescue bunny to love hay. I love mixing this hay with 1st cut Timothy hay and 2nd cut Timothy hay because 1st cut provides great dental care for my bunny who grows her front teeth at a faster rate than most bunnies and adds a different texture to the mix. It helps keep her teeth healthy and adding 3rd cut Timothy hay provides and adds a nice blend of softness into the mix that I create. No matter what type of hay I order from Small Pet Select my bunnies are never disappointed. I refill their hay box everyday, and their hay box is huge!
Mr. Nibbles our Guinea pig loves all his Small Pet Select products; toys, treats, pellets, and of course his hay. I always bought my Guinea pig supplies from a pet store but I had a hard time finding good quality hay. Usually the bags were full of dust and crumbs and started to get hard to find on the shelves because of COVID. I searched the web and found Small Pet Select which I absolutely love. The hay is fresh (so fresh it makes me sneeze) and the stems are long (so long I have to fold them to get them into the feeder). My bun bun is named Pancake, I had him for 2 years now and I'm so glad I took him in. He's not big in size nor too small, just right. He got his name from his color and the way he slept was pretty adorable. I got him from a pet store that was closing, I know it's best to rescue from a shelter or contact a breeder but I was there just in time. Here in New York, there's little to no option when finding pet rabbits. Unfortunately I couldn't take in all of his sisters and brothers including his parents but I did share the info with the people at my school. Pancake was very neglected and I immediately wanted to help, I took him in with my own money. It was like it was meant to be because 2 months before I was doing my research. I love animals and I wanted someone to keep me company after I move out, I'm allergic to cats and most dogs so I needed to find a better option. I thought rabbits were the best option since I was able to work from home and encourage me to have more greens and fruits in my fridge. Pancake was the best thing that has ever happened to me and brought me hope, I did spoil him a bit when it came to making a place for him, I wanted him to feel loved and he slowly warmed up to me not long after. He is currently free roaming in my room and my personal alarm clock. As a person who loves eating salads and fruits it was easy for him to get on my bed and beg for something. I wanted to give him the best and that was until I found small pet select a few days after getting him. It was super helpful that I was able to order online because during the pandemic it wasn't safe. Aside from hay, I also tried out the bedding and treats the company had to offer. My bunny Benton is BIG on crunch so he loves orchard hay and oat! We have been using Small Pet select since are first oopsie as you could call it. When we first got Benton when he was 3 months old and got him alfalfa hay from the pet store. It had so much dust and he hated it. When we got him he had Bordetella and the dust from the pet store hay made it much worse than it was before. Until our vet recommended Small pet Select and we are so grateful for them! Also, it’s not always convenient to go to the pet store when you are running low. So I love that it’s shipped to my doorstep fast in one day! My mother has Allergies to Timothy hay and orchard is great for her allergies. My bunny also loves small pet selects apple chew sticks and flower power berry boost! Our two rabbits love the 1st cut timothy hay because they have sensitive stomachs (in that they need fiber) and are a little on the “fluffy” sides. :) We adopted them during COVID and it took quite an adjustment finding the right hay for them. Thank goodness we found Small Pet Select, as a new bun family we needed all the help we could get. We loved the sampler box! I never knew there were different types of hay until our bunns started getting picky with the store bought hay. I was searching around, found Small Pet Select and will never go back to the big box stores! My bun’s name is Peanut Butter (PB), but I called her Honey so much she now comes to that name. PB..aka Honey loves the 2nd cut. Honey also loves her treats so much that after watching your video I am going to try some 1st cut hay to see if we can get her girlish figure back. My bunny is so spoiled - his favorite hay is the sampler box, which I mix up with extra 2nd cutting Timothy hay so he gets plenty of fiber and not too much fat. I also occasionally order your Gourmet Hay because my bunny is quite picky and when I open that box he DIVES in. The pine cone is one of his favorite toys so that’s always a treat. Lilly is very picky and changes her mind a few times a day. Her favorite is the sampler box. It’s the cats favorite also, they help her eat it.

My bunnies love the classic 2nd cut timothy hay. I get them the sampler box as well to make sure they have a variety but I think their favorite is still 2nd cut. Few days ago though, we spayed one of our buns and it was very hard to get her to eat. I eventually offered her oat hay from the sampler box and she finally started eating! It was a great time because I was stressed out throughout the whole process, plus her poops were looking weird. But soon after she slowly gained her appetite and the poopoos started to look normal. I finally saw our bunny being a little happy after the surgery.
I love small pet select hay, it is the least dustiest hay I have gotten and I have noticed that my bunnies get way more excited over small pet select hay than any other. I also have severe hay allergies (I can't even touch it without gloves) and small pet select hay makes me sneeze the least. It also does not make me cough at all, which I cannot say for all the different hay brands I've tried.
My rabbit, Fig, is a 4 year old lionhead! She lived with me all throughout college and is now supporting me through grad school! My rabbits love pet select products. I have tried many different Brands of rabbit food and hay on the market. I I have very finicky rabbits and it had been a struggle finding something to feed them that they would eat. 1st Cutting of hay is my go to cut for timothy hay, but my favorite thing to grab is the variety box so I can stuff their toys and different hays. The hay cubes are fun to use for training the bunnies and for treats.
I have my first bunny and it’s been so fun. I’ve learned soooooo much just watching this video and other bunny owners. Hopper loves Timothy Hay and feels so good after eating because he can still feel good to run around after eating. Now I have to get more toys for him🐰spoiled bunny🖤
My bum, Preston, is quite a picky little man. I had spent much money buying different brands of hay, only to donate everything I had purchased to our local animal rescue. My favorite hay to get for my guinea pigs and my sister's chinchillas is the 2nd cut Timothy Hay. They love the 2nd cut compared to the 1st cut and are healthy that they don't need the 3rd cut. Also I love the various pound selections of hay since it means I can get a big box and not have to constantly have to buy more hay. Plus the price for the boxes is great. Hay Hay Hay from my 3 week old orphaned baby bunnies Trouble, Mischief, and Mayhem just having lost their Mama Blackberry they are so far eating on small pet select Alfalfa Hay almost constantly when they are awake between bottle feedings and free pellets their chubby Papa Pumpkin Bunny is 3 years old and normally enjoys the 1st cutting Timothy Hay. He’s been a little down since losing his mate so I’m going to try some of the rabbit rescue remedies that look amazing. I’ve been scouring the internet to find the best resources to keep these guys going after the heartbreak of losing one it will just be to much if these guys don’t get the chance to live their best life. So far its been 5 days and no weight loss and no food refusal. Finding resources and quality products for the babies has been an ordeal. Finding a company that really seems to be knowledgeable and committed is a great blessing. I thought I was doing a great job, I feed them an all organic buffet of fruit and veggies but when it came to the hay, as inexperienced as I am, I knew I was getting an inferior product. I landed on your page searching for organic, natural food for bunnies and Guinea pigs, but also for my birds. I can’t find any organic branches for my bird so I was delighted to find yours! The timothy hay from Small Pet Select always smells so fresh even weeks later. Our guinea pig loves all three cuts of timothy hay. From our vet, we know that first and second cuts of timothy hay are the best for adult guinea pigs. Third cut being low in fiber and high in protein is a nice treat for guinea pigs but should not be a staple hay due to its high protein content. First and second cut timothy hay is best. First cut is high in fiber with lots of seed heads, and second cut has the soft leafy content that guinea pigs love. If you don't know which timothy hay to buy your guinea pig, choose second cut timothy hay. All piggies seem to love this cut, and it provides them good nutrition. Thank you Small Pet Select!

My piggies absolutely love 2nd cut Timothy hay! I lost my 5 year old piggy , Ginger and I nothing seems to make me happy. Ginger became super close to me and she would always wait for me when I came home and she would wait so patiently for me to get out of bed to feed her breakfast. I miss her dearly and yesterday I saw a rainbow and maybe that was her telling me that she’s OK. My life has been falling apart with a bunch of family issues and her loss made everything worse.
