I love foreign developers of gas masks, for the fact that they provide for the attachment of corrective lenses. In Russia, only the PMK-4 has a stupid lens mount that even a child would design better
Someone else commented something similar, but i wanted to ask if anyone knows why mira gets so much hate? I know theyre expensive, but I haven't been able to find the OM masks here in the states. Do they just resell them or are they unsafe?
You must be new here Now seriously. The three "iconic" respirators they rebranded are made in Czech republic by a company Gumárny Zubří, easy to look up. They are not unsafe, but they are not up to certain modern standards imo. Contrary to what you can see in their advertisements of course and that's a partial answer to your first question. To us, the respirators they sell are ridiculously expensive for what they are and so uninteresting I have no real reason to make any videos about them. Just because they pushed so much money into advertisement it doesn't mean I have to pretend they're relevant. 🤗

Just watch our CM-4 review (a good gas mask for under 20 bucks) since majority of its negative aspects we pinpointed have been later transferred to all the newer respirators like OM-90, CM-5, CM-6, OM-2020. These respirators are HEAVILY ALIKE in many aspects.
