It’s mind blowing that they managed to drop ZX7RR weight down to 145-150 kg. What a beast ! Great story about your dad and ZXR 400. That ZXR colour scheme it’s from different world. Beauty Thank you Chris for sharing your knowledge. When I was a kid I used to watch SWC. What a great time.
Was at Brands Hatch early 2000s to watch you race Chris. Im the proud owner of a 96 7xz p2 here in New Zealand. After the race you pull up and dropped a huge burnout right in front of me and my mates who were just going nuts trackside. Bloody loved it! Great memories. Life long fan off the "stalker" Kawasaki made the most beautiful bike ever.... which I still own today. Cheers mate.
My first new bike purchase, was a 1977 KZ1000. I was 18 years old. Dozens of new bikes since then. Road racing for many years. My favorite new bike, was the ole KZ1000.
My first bike was after I past my test was a zxr400 in those colours. You were my favourite rider in BSB and WSB because you road the Kawasaki and your racing against Neil Hodgson was amazing.
Great to see you chris. My 1st 100mph bike was the Kawasaki gpz 550 in red. 42 years later I'm on the h2sx. I enjoyed watching you up here at knockhill against neil, great bikes great times
Chris you have never been in any ones shadows! I met you for the first time when you were racing for Crescent with the National tyres or clarion sponsored gixer, and to this day watching you come so close to taking the championship but that lump let go and oil went everywhere was heartbreaking for me to watch, I can still smell that going by me and seeing the look in your eyes! I've meet a few racers over the years but you are honestly the nicest guy I've met and that's why every event I went too a Stalker T shirt n flag came with me.
My last bike in the late 90's was a ZXR400 with Chris Walker replica paintwork. It looked really cool. I sold that in 2000 and it took me until last week to get another bike.
Happens all the time I’m sure. I worked at a used car dealership called HASSOPS in Willesden, London. I remember a used car, customer just bought it and engine management light came on so an expensive repair, mechanic was told to CUT THE WIRE to the bulb. When the customer came to pick it up, he joked, I hope you haven’t cut the wire to the bulb. 100% true

My god that Zx7rr is a work of art with all the trick parts still left on it.

When dads could do proper parenting
The zx7rr ,the iconic 750 wsb/bsb bike ?
Wrong fender (916style) on the zxrr. Pretty big foul.
I need to know how I can bring my zx7r from 200kg to 150kg 😂
