    This has to be the most intelligent, unbiased guest Bradley has ever had on the pod. Not only did he adress plant-based diets without judgement, he also explained thr vaccine and covid data in an understandable manner. More guests like him, please!

      Layne is one of the very few people in the industry who actually looks at the data in order to find a conclusion, instead of looking for data to support a conclusion he already arrived at. I’m not even into fitness (I’m a gross slob) and I watch every single one of his clips/videos/pods. This shit is fascinating!

    Layne seems to have built his brand on honesty and data, rather than the sensationalism and dishonesty tactics that most of the health and fitness industry has adopted. You love to see it!

      Overall he’s decent but I stopped following him on social media. He’s had a few questionable posts and one when he was promoting Splenda and sucralose since the stuff he sells has that crap in there

    This was great. Currently doing my masters in Kinesiology and a concentration in sport performance and I appreciate Layne coming on here to draw back the importance of evidence based practice. Brad’s one of the reasons I even started lifting in the first place so it comes full circle lol. Good stuff!

    Shout out to Layne. I'm a single dad. I got a 11 year old girl with autism. My whole life is her and the gym. Life is interesting but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

    Have to go find a gym weed at vitamin shop now lol thanks. Btw I believe huberman talks about timing with the ice bath. Just do it before you lift and let your body warm back up then it doesn’t blunt your inflammatory response post workout. Should get Dr mike.

    paul saladino admitted that he was wrong about the carnivore diet and promotes eating a significant amount of carbs through fruit honey and maple syrup. there is a problem if you think seed oils that are completely unnatural are better for you than butter or ghee. no mention of linoleic acid.

      The conclusion is that protein source doesn't matter as much as getting enough protein overall.

      And what is considered enough protein overall depends on which diet you are on. If you are a vegan it probably something like 20% higher than an omnivorous.

    The issue with myocarditis and risk from covid is that the jab doesn't even keep you from getting covid... so you just end up with myocarditis risk from jab PLUS myocarditis risk from covid. It's just more spike protein exposure.

    Only piece I disagree with was the vaccine efficacy. At this point in analyzing the data in hindsight , is what we can definitely say is the vaccine may or may not have helped some people. We cannot honestly say that it helped overall.
