I popped in randomly when your vod of Balthazar and Yurgir popped up on my feed so I had to see how you were soloing with a Caster class like this. I am currently playing a Blue Draconic Sorcerer on Tactician and while I knew the combo with Tempest Cleric was strong, I wasn't aware just how strong especially with a 6/6 split. I mostly followed the series up through the major bosses, I remember looking up while you were fighting Raphael and then I turned back and he was dead already, super impressive.

This is awesome! BTW, I think you can pick any race you want if you're going to multiclass cleric, because you'll get the shield proficiency from the cleric class.
Yes, you're right. I didn't mention it in the video, but I also believe appearance is part of performance, so I chose the human race to use appearance mods. lol
@@vanuio Absolutely. I can't play even the most overpowered build I create if it's also not 10/10 badass appearance (in my case, always female characters :D ). Everybody knows that appearance gives +10 power, +10 satisfaction and +10 skill. I often spend more time downlading and installing cosmetic mods for my RPG characters than I spend playing them since I spend to much time in character creator and standing for hours in one palce in game looking for most sick combo of cloths/armor + hairstyle :D

It's a very nice build, i will try this. i have enough to play barbarian/rogue/warrior. But i will create an wood elf to increase movement speed, and maybe alert + increase attributes. Well GG for your run, she's a pretty character and i missed the good ol times in Dark Souls 3 :D

As far as I know, multiclass uses the spellcasting ability of the last class you added. to apply charisma as spellcasting modifier, you need to add sorcerer as the last class.

The +10 damage from Spellmight only applies to Attack rolls. You mention it was good for Lightning Bolt, but that isn't an attack roll so the +10 damage doesn't apply. The only lightning damage spells you'd use that are attacks are Shocking Grasp, Chromatic Orb, and Witch Bolt, which are much less likely to be used. Wouldn't it be better to stick with Gloves of Belligerent Skies for the Reverberation? Or stick with the Bracers of Defence for the +2 AC?
I wasn't sure if it was an AI voice or not, but pronouncing Minthara Mintara gave it away. I can't think of any reason a person who played the game would say it that way.
@@vanuio It sounded good writing-wise; I didn't notice any mistakes in sentence construction or anything of that kind, only the AI pronunciation was a bit off on the fantasy words.

Just curious because I’m lvl 12 trying this build and I only have 6 sorcery points but your fight at the end if I’m not mistaken you have 9 how do you get the extra 3?
In Act 2, Lann Tarv at Moonrise Towers sells two of them at a time. If you take a long rest (no-supplies) or level up repeatedly in front of Lann Tarv, the shop will reset. You can use this trick to stock up.
Yeah... I think Ansur can be kill with thunder vulnerability, but that seems like a tougher approach, so I ended up using a lot of Disintegrate scrolls.
Should probably mention at the beginning of the video that this build depends on farming chain lightning scrolls, which won’t be found until act 3 and are quite expensive. Saw the build and ran it through most of act 3 and it’s really just a magic missile machine gun with the occasional setup for nukes. The friendly fire, chances to get electrocuted myself, and lack of burst without scrolls or perfect positioning kinda made it seem eh by the time Orin came around.
thanks for your feedback! this build is more specialized for solo play than party play. you can actually get chain lightning scrolls as early as act 2(unlock at lv. 9).

Cleric provides shield proficiency, so not a reason to take human. High Elf gives an extra cantrip that can be useful, but any race is fine, probably.
Oh, you're right! I totally forgot that some clerics, like Tempest, War, and Life, get heavy armor proficiency. Thanks for the reminder!

I don’t think there are any advantages to going 10/2. However, 4/8 could be beneficial since you get an extra Feat. thanks for watching!

Great build, but i wanted to ask how does this build fair in a party setting with your party going arround with the risk of getting electrocuted??
It's difficult to use martial characters in a party with this build. But if your party is made up of ranged characters, it could work out well.

don't the spellmight gloves only work on spells that have attack rolls? i imagine chain lightning and lightning bolt wouldn't apply here
how do you have a level 6 spell slot? If you put 6 levels into both sorcerer and cleric wouldn't that mean you only can get up to 3rd level slots??
Cleric and Sorcerer are casters, so their spell slots open up to 6th level.
